some clever friends came up with the challenge of taking a photograph every thirty minutes from when we woke until going to sleep again. here is what i did…

(all shot with a htc desire using vignette, between the hours of 7am and 11pm, on the last day of the first month of january 2012)

oh em gee, i made it a whole month. i can’t believe i did it… and sorry to say i will never do it again! i also can’t believe that the first month of 2012 is gone, where does the time go?!

in celebration of this feat i am sharing some images of the coolest place ever. i would like to live here. seriously. it’s a rainbow castle made of inflatable plastic and powered by the sun. oh yeah, it’s heaven for lauren….

these are all inside the luminaria by architects of air… shot awhile back on their last visit to perth.

zelie + andrew

before zelie (with the cool name) and i met many moons ago, her dad was forever telling both of us that we each reminded him of the other (does that make sense?!). when we finally did meet we were both like “whatever”! (whilst editing the wedding i suspect our big smiles might have something to do with it). but in that first meeting we totally hit it off.

a few years and some more adventures later, they now have two sweet kids. i was honoured that they wanted me to take part in their wedding at the very private and lovely sundance lodge down south. they did everything themselves, with the help of family and friends. zelie’s creative vision was brought to life by andrew’s practical skills- he even cut the holes in the book for the rings! it was one great party by the lake, with a lunar eclipse showing up and some fantastic words spoken.

i could only hope to be like zelie and andrew- they are adored, generous, fun and talented.

thank you guys. it was special. you rock. xx

one of my faves from the day… andrew’s dad had us all in tears and this moment between them is beautiful.

linda and dave were married late one afternoon beneath the red rock on the beach at eco beach resort. a beautiful location, a perfect day… these two are so easy going and everyone was very welcoming, it hardly felt like work.

i am amazed by this gorgeous couple… they clearly love each other… loads. i am grateful that i could be part of this day.

logan (aka conan) is the first born of my friends braithe and jo. he gave them a bit of a scare and arrived a little early, but has made up for it by being a star since his arrival. these were done only a couple of weeks after he was born and braithe was already training him in the ways of high fiving…
