This portrait is not great, so why do I post it ? because it is Scott Schuman Aka Le Sartorialist, the master of street fashion portrait. I was impressed, starstruck and didn't want to take to much of his time as a result I failed at taking a great portrait of the master. Next time I will do much better !

London, Kristen McNally and the Royal Ballet work in progress

2011-04-19T03:24:00.000-07:00

Have you ever seen a ballerina moonwalking? I did. Last Saturday the Apple Store invited their neighbours, five amazing dancers from the Royal Ballet and the brilliant Kristen McNally to create and perform a dance piece based on a ten minutes mix from Kanye West's latest album “Dark fantasy”. Her assistant with Ipad 2 in his hand encouraged the audience to download via their smartphones images of Kanye West to create frames. It was so fascinating to watch over the course of three sessions the work in progress. McNally great choreography combined classical, hip hop and a good sense of humour! For the finale non professional dancers all over the store were performing wearing Kanye West masks on their faces! It was the coolest thing I have ever seen!

I can’t wait to see more of Kristen McNally‘s work and I won't have to wait long as I am the happy holder of free tickets to see her and her dancers rehearsing.
