Scriam cu cateva zile in umra despre furtul de pe card la care am fost victima (Atentie, se fura bani de pe card! ). Din fericire la acest moment am primit deja banii inapoi.

O situatie similara s-a intamplat si cu cardul de la ING. O tranzactie suspecta pe un site din Rusia. Cei de la ING m-au sunat imediat ce au observat tranzactia; oricum, dupa prima intamplare de acest tip nu mai pastrez bani in contul de card asa ca tranzactia deja esuase din lipsa de fonduri.

Deci, chiar sa fura bani de pe carduri prin orice mijloace.

Obiecte pierdute

Luna trecuta am pierdut un telefon. Am fost la politie sa cer ajutorul in gasirea lui (speram ca politia va initia o procedura de urmarire in retea si il vor gasi foarte repde, insa ei au sustinut ca asta nu se poate decat cu decizii judecatoresti etc.).
Cei de la politie incepea cautarea telefonului doar daca declaram ca telefonul a fost furat; nu era cazul - era doar pierdut. In cazul in care declaram ca a fost furat si se dovedea ca de fapt nu a fost eu era cel care plateam cheltuielie anchetei.
Totusi, nu e chiar asa.
Mai jos e un articol din Codul Penal care poate fi util cuiva care merge la Politie si cei de acolo sunt reticenti sa inceapa o ancheta pentru ca valoarea obiectului pierdut e prea mica in comparatie cu efortul pe care ei considera ca il vor depune:

Art. 216. - Însusirea bunului gasit
Fapta de a nu preda în termen de 10 zile un bun gasit autoritatilor sau celui care l-a pierdut, sau de a dispune de acel bun ca de al sau, se pedepseste cu închisoare de la o luna la 3 luni sau cu amenda.
Cu aceeasi pedeapsa se sanctioneaza si însusirea pe nedrept a unui bun mobil ce apartine altuia, ajuns din eroare în posesia faptuitorului.

Zilel trecute am descoperit un sistem interesant de anonimizare pe internet. In cazul in care doriti sa aveti mai multa confidentialitate pe internet (100% nu cred ca se poate dar macar un procent apropiat) puteti folosi Tor.

Azi am aflat ca unii bulgarii sunt ca noi: cum vad un strain sar pe el sa-l jupoaie de bani. Am aflta insa ca alti bulgari nu sunt chiar ca noi: sar in ajutorului strainului.
Pe scurt am luat autobuzul de la aeroportul din Sofia spre hotel. Pe drum a venit controlul care vroia sa-mi dea amenda ca nu am bilte pentru geanta. Vreo doi calatori s-au luat de controlori si astia au plecat pasnici. Dupa intamplarea asta am trimis si un mail la RATB-ul din Sofia. Sa vedem daca raspunde cineva. Va tin la curent.

Dear Sir or Madam,

In last years I came few times to Sofia and probably in the future I will come more due the business reasons.
Until now I staid to Hilton, a nice hotel with good services. Usually, to travel from Sofia Airport to the hotel I'm using Hilton pick up service.
Today, as I had plenty of time I decide to try public transport. I said why to not pay the money for the transport to public transport company, helping in his developing, reducing pollution etc. So, I bought a ticket I took the bus 84 and let's go.
During trip, two guys came to ask for the thickets. I showed my ticket and after that they wanted me to show the ticket for my luggage. Is true that at the airport when I bought the ticket I did not asked more information about luggage transportation with public transport. As my luggage is only 6 kg heavy I did not realize that I might need ticket for it.
However, during the control when I asked more details about why I need to pay supplementary fee for my luggage they even showed me a small text that said the luggage up to 60/40/40 can be transported with one ticket. After I asked for more explanations the control guys (especially the lady) become irritated and arrogant continuously keep asking me to pay the fee.
As I do not speak Bulgarian and the guys that performed ticket control do not speak English we not rely understand each others. However, the other travelers that saw the situations start to argue with the control guys and after that control guys get let me and down from the bus.
When I get down myself from the bus, driver said smiling: "Control, Mafia!".

Thanks to your employees I understand that in the future I have never to use public transport services In Sofia. I will use only Hilton services.

Taxe si impozite online

In urma cu cateva luni s-a facut mare publicitate noului ghiseu virtual pentru plata taxelor si impozitelor. A fost de fapt un balon de sapun pentru ca in acest moment se pot plati taxele si impozitele doar la un numar foarte mic de localitati (numarabile pe degetele de la o mana).
Ploistiul nu e in lista ghiseului virtual dar si daca sunteti ploiestean puteti plati taxele si impozitele online.

Scriam acum cateva zile impresii despre noul meu HTC Legend cu Android. Unul dintre lipsurile majore pentru mine era lipsa sincronizarii calendarului. (De fapt calendarul se sincronizeaza doar cu Google si cu Facebook).
Azi am descoperit o aplicatie care permite adaugarea de calendare CalDAV pe Android.
Aplicatia se numeste Calendar (CalDAV) Sync si se gaseste pe Android Market.

Anul asta Mosul a venit cu un HTC Legend; ecran senzitiv, 3G, wireless, bluetooth, GPS, camera etc. Trecand de la vechiul (de aproape 5 ani) Nokia E61 la un telefon de ultima generatie ma asteptam sa fiu coplesit, insa nu a fost chiar asa.
designul e mai atragator dar pentru mine acesta este pe ultimul loc. Mai importanta este ergonomia iar tastatura senszitiva este de departe mai putin ergonomica decat cea fizica.
Prima "surpriza" a fost cand am observat ca bateria tine tot cam atat timp cat tine si la Nokia E61 (dupa 5 ani). E adevarat ca telefonul include mai multe functii, ecranul senzitiv consuma mai mult etc.
Telefonul vine cu Google Maps si Google Maps Navigation. Din pacate hartile de la Google nu se pot stoca local, deci daca mergi intr-o zona fara acoperire GSM, Google Maps nu functioneaza. In roaming platesti cu varf si indesat daca vrei harti.
Navigation nu merge deloc - "Google Maps Navigation is not yet available in this location".
Am descoperit de asemnea ca aplicatiile nu se opresc ci sistemul de operarare le opreste cand va decide. Nu exista nici un Application Manager care sa te ajute sa comuti rapid intre aplicatii. Nu exista un File Manager etc. (E adevarat ca exista un numar mare de aplicatii gratuite pe Android Market.)
Un alt minus major este la Calendarur. Acesta nu suporta formatul iCal.
Concluzia dupa cateva sapamani de utilizare este ca desi telefonul are cateva facilitati in plus cu siguranta nu e mai folositor decat vechiul Nokia E61.

Cum mi-am petrecut ziua nationala (alaturi de Tarom)

In urma cu cateva luni le-am trimis un mail celor de la McDonald's legat de faptul ca obligau clientii sa cumpere mai mult decat ei doreau (http://laurpana.blogspot.com/2010/08/sos-inclus-in-pret.html). Nici pana astazi nu am primit un raspuns de la ei (am crezut ca poate au schimbat ceva dar la o vizita ulterioara la McDonald's am aflat ca sosul e inca inclus in pret).

Aceeasi lipsa de comunicare se gaseste si la Tarom - pana azi, nici un raspuns la mailurile de mai jos:

E clar - comunicarea cu clientii/pasagerii e inexistenta la Tarom.

Daca situatii minure ca aceasta petrecuta pe 1 decembrie sunt
gestionate in acest fel oare cum sunt gestionate situatii de criza
majora?

informatii din partea companiei calatoriii au asteptat perioade
lungi in aeroport, au avut asteptari care nu s-au realizat etc.
Astfel, chiar daca in situatii normale servciile Tarom sunt bune,
astefel de situatii pot determina oamenii ca in viitor sa aleaga
serviciile altei companii deoarece oamenii se vor simti in
nesiguranta cu Tarom.

PS Pe 18 decembrie am venit de la Frankfurt la Bucuresti. Vreme rea, multe zboruri anulate, aglomeratie mare pe aeroportul din Frankfurt. Eram la checkin si o domnisoara de la Tarom a venit pentru a sprijini calatorii cursei de Bucuresti sa faca mai repde checkin-ul.

Ada is a tank. A butt-ugly tank that never breaks down. People laugh uncontrollably if you tell them you drive Ada, but really, do you want to be driving a sports car in a war zone?

Assembly Language is a bare engine; you have to build the car yourself and manually supply it with gas while it's running, but if you're careful it can go like a bat out of hell.

Basic is a simple car useful for short drives to the local shops.
