Over a year since this blog has seen any activity and I am pleased to announce a new project.

Jake Neuman and Lava-Productions is pleased to present Pancake Monday Podcast

A new podcast featuring, well, everyone that shows up to Pancake Mondays. It should be a ton of fun and hopefully it will all go well haha. Now it may be more often than every Monday this summer, but that's besides the point. After things get rolling you should expect to see it on iTunes and hopefully all over the various blogs/sites I have going on. This project is a long time coming and hopefully everyone will enjoy it. Look for more news tomorrow when recording officially begins!

The Shape of Things to Come

Whats Happening:

Hey everyone, Jake here, I just wanted to let you all know that this summer I am making a lot of decisions about all of these website/blog things I have made. Most of these decisions will probably be the deletion of few of these and just leaving some up if you want to look at past projects.

Out of any pages you should be visiting for frequent updates are probably mine and Melissa's blogs. Unfortunately Randomness Squared has kind of died off, not on purpose by any means, it just has. I think (this is my opinion) that the format wasn't what audiences expected so I'm keeping that page alive so we can work with it to make it what people want out of something that is Random. That along with the fact that I lost all of the software I used to upload podcasts when our computer got infected and I no longer have access to any of that stuff.

That One Comic Over There and 48 Laws of Power will both be deleted along with any other random projects that were never grasped.

Things to look for:

If you enjoy podcasts or just listening to random conversations people have check out AudioBoo and more specifically my AudioBoo. They are pretty much mini podcasts (microcasts for you GiantBomb fans) that are recorded on iPhones and uploaded from anywhere. It is a pretty awesome system and for those who want to get into podcasting but don't have an easy way to do it, definitely try this (if you have an iPhone I don't know if iPod touch works with it or not).

I am doing more writing now on my blog including reviews, previews, thoughts and a lot of other stuff. Melissa and I also have twitter.com accounts that we both update regularly. I often do tweets while watching movies or television shows, a kind of text commentary.

So, I believe that is it for now. Remember to look at our blogs and keep an eye out for whatever the summer may bring.

Looking Forward Into 2009

Hello everyone, as 2009 approaches new goals shall be set, and we look back to see if old goals were met. So, I will look back upon old posts to see what I set for '08 if anything...

Ahhh yes, I started out 2008 with the Lava-Productions podcast. Haha, that seems like forever ago. So, I think my goal was to get something started. And look at this, goal accomplished. Now, this isn't the biggest podcast ever but I'm hoping it will gain an audience.

Anyways, looking into 2009, we can hope for the best. I know Melissa and I both wish we could do the podcast more often, and maybe that'll happen, but you never know. It would be really cool if I could get different groups of people recording podcasts together that way we can get more out there. Maybe we should do that... If you and a friend of yours have wanted to do a podcast together but don't know how to publish it, email me! If you record it and send everything to me, I could get it going here. Randomness Squared would truly start being random surprises about who is going to be on the podcast.

This is me brainstorming, can you tell? Haha, anyways as always, thanks for reading and look for more great stuff in 2009!

End of Summer Update

Hello everyone! I know I haven't update this page in quite sometime, but I do hope you are paying attention to Randomness Squared, as that page gets more love than any of the other ones. Anyways, here is a quick update to what is going on with Lava-Productions.

First off, thank you to all who listen to Randomness Squared, we appreciate each and every one of you so much. And thanks to all who tell people about us, that's even awesomer. We have attempted to get a good thing going and will continue until we are probably dead. We both enjoy it a lot, and have a lot of fun with it.

If you are interested in joining the podcast team, which is currently just Melissa and I, please email xLavax@Gmail.com or randomnesssquared@yahoo.com We are currently looking for editors and podcasters. If you have never been a podcaster, there is nothing to it! If you hate your voice, so do Melissa and I! If you need a microphone, they're pretty cheap! What else... Ummm... I take care of all the technical stuff, and you only have to to have two programs installed! So, send us an email, or comment on a post on the Randomness Squared page.

So, what else... Not much else has changed, I did get Photoshop so I should be able to make some kick butt logos soon. I just don't know how to change them on our RSS feed. Oh well.

Hey everyone, it's Jake here!

First off I'd like to welcome Melissa! Her and I have been friends for a while now, due to another website and we have decided to do a podcast together. It is currently called Randomness Squared, and features her and I talking about whatever we think of to talk about. While it may not be much now we'd be happy for you to listen in! It is currently availble on iTunes through The Blog and Podcast of a Teenage Guy feed. So, check it out! It will have it's own soon enough.

Hello all! I hope you are having a very cheerful time exploring the internet! I appreciate those of you have continually visited this site and I am proud to announce (if you didn't already know) the start up of a new podcast!

This new podcast is the audio version of my blog which can be found here.

It is mainly my blog in audio form, the reading of old blog entries and new blog entries. I attempt to get them out weekly, and it is available on iTunes, just look up The Blog and Podcast of a Teenage Guy and you should get it.

Potential Partnership with Midnightneo.com

There is currently loose talk that there will be a partnership with Midnightneo.com or MN/MNR, and Lava-Productions.

Midnightneo is known as being the only fan-site with a radio station. While details are yet to be worked out, feel free to check out midnightneo.com for radio shows and other Neopets related things. They also have a great forum! So check it out today. More details will, hopefully, come soon.

Dang it to Heck!

I have gotten so sidetracked by other things that I haven't been able to make a podcast in a while, heck I don't even check the stats that often any more.

Anyways, I feel like no one cares about this, so I am going to ceise making the podcast and just keep chugging away as a website. If things pick up, I could bring the podcast back.

I have an idea (I get one nearly everyday), that I can use my blog for. Lets say an Audio version of my blog posts, but different. I can have news and then jump into the talk. Just talk about life and things that are happening. I think it could be good for me to vent. If people like it, I'll keep it going for more than two episodes.

Anyways, I am doing some stuff to help me with talking too people via radio/podcast stuff and some other things.

Please visit my blog, updates are a lot more often there, and hopefully you can learn from my mistakes.

EDIT: Right when I start using another service, the mp3 host I like to use comes back. So, I will be using them again. I used them for Studio 60 SaveCast and them is also known as mp3space.com (previously minorcrisis). Hopefully this will fix a few things, like the fact that when you download it from here all the info will be correct, and hopefully the logo will change.

EDIT: Things aren't working out how I planned, the episode disappeared from iTunes, probably because I changed the link. I'll figure it out.

A podcast all about the saving of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (which unfortunately didn't happen). But, anyways, I have a bunch of ideas that I am positive a lot of people will be into.

Now, you want to get involved, yes? Good, now, here's how:
-You must have access to a computer. Simple, how else could you be looking at this page?
-Age may be an issue, but we'll worry about that later.
-Must be contactable via email on a daily basis.
-Must be committed and wont quit halfway through a project.

Simple, yes? That's good. Now, I'd like this group to last a while and have good communication, so, you'll have to be somewhat social. We will all be friends.

Now, people I am looking for:
-Creative Artists (Logos, comics, entertaining things...)
-Comedic People (These people should have access to a microphone and be able to use Skype and Audacity. Don't worry about how to use them, I will teach everyone)
-People in general.

I am planning on making at least one podcast, so you will have to have a microphone. They are pretty cheap, so that shouldn't be hard at all. If this is all too much for you to take in, take a deep breath...In...Out...Good! Now, let's continue...Yes there is more.

Since no one is applying, looks like I will have to go it alone for a while.

I am pleased to announce the first project. Chuck, Larry & Joe. This project will be a comic about three random guys. Yeah. That's about it. I have gotten 100+ different people that saw the site you would think at least one of them would email me! 3000+ have seen the Studio 60 SaveCast page and that number is always growing!
