We feel that carnations get a bad wrap. Sure, they are used everywhere, but that's usually mixed with other flowers where they don't belong.

We've taken two dozen carnations in peppermint and white and accented them with glass balls in a cube vase for a look that is clean and modern. This arrangement is available in a variety of sizes from $48 and up.

We have a wonderful assortment of poinsettia plants in a variety of sizes and colors. These beautiful holiday plants are grown especially for florists to be bigger and heartier than those found in a grocery or home improvement store. Choose from red, burgundy, pink, white and Picasso - a variegated pink/red/white variety. Sizes range from 6" pots to 10" pots.

Poinsettias are available in wicker baskets (standard), ceramic pots (order deluxe) and silver metal pots (order premium). Individual colors sell quickly. Please specify a first and second color choice when ordering.

We are pleased to announce the addition of R David Adams Flowers to the Fiori Floral Design family of fine florists. We look forward to continuing to provide fine florals and outstanding customer service to the many long-time customers of R David Adams.

Founded over 15 years ago by R David Adams, the noted landscape architect and designer, R David Adams Flowers originated in a flower shop in Safeco Plaza, the former Seattle-First National Bank Building. From their retail space, their talented staff created floral arrangements incorporating elements of high-style, Asian and English traditions with an end result of unique beauty that were new to Seattle at the time. In 2007 they moved from their long-time downtown location to a studio space in the Cherry Hill Neighborhood of Seattle.

When the current owner of R David Adams Flowers chose to retire, we couldn't allow this storied brand of unique floral design to end. After discussions with the owner, we are honored to be trusted with the stewardship of this Seattle institution.

We welcome the customers of R David Adams and look forward to carrying on the tradition of providing fine florals in R David Adams unique style.

Why order roses from us?
There are many reasons but the most important is quality. Our roses are packed and shipped to arrive in our studio shortly after being cut. When we receive them, we cut the stems under water and place them in clean buckets with flower food and an antibacterial agent so they will last longer. During the entire process, all of our roses are maintained at very cold temperatures to keep them fresh. This is very important because roses in particular need to be kept cool to keep from opening prematurely.

We take great pride in our design work, but this pride would mean nothing if our flowers didn't last. So we work hard to make sure that any flowers you get from us will last longer than flowers from any other source.

Four Season's Hotel Gala

A few weeks ago, we created these beautiful centerpieces and stage florals for City University of Seattle's Global Innovations Gala at the Four Season's Hotel in Seattle.

The simple but elegant design has three different shades of red roses in a glass bubble bowl.

The dramatic stage floral expands on the theme with the three shades of red roses, white hydrangea, red willow and seeded eucalyptus.

Like all non-profit organizations, City University of Seattle benefited from our 20% discount for not for profit groups. If you are planning a fundraising event, ask how we can help.

Flowers convey a special sentiment that can be communicated few other ways. If you need to send flowers to someone out of town, we can help. As a member of Teleflora, the world's largest floral wire service, we have member florists anywhere you want to send flowers. Tell us the occasion and your budget and we will work with a local florist to have flowers delivered on your behalf. Every detail will be handled, so you don't have to think about a thing. For orders out of the US, you won't need to worry about currency conversion, translation or local customs.

Order before 11:00 p.m. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day. Please allow an additional 24 hours for deliveries immediately prior to and immediately following any public holiday, including Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.

Walk-In Store Specials

We are starting a new program this week of offering specials to our Walk-In customers. We will make special purchases of flowers so that we can offer great deals on flowers by the stem and wrapped flowers. These specials are only available in the store.

We will always have some roses on special. This week we have selected roses for $2.50 per stem or $18 per dozen, including tax. We have a large variety of colors including red, pink, yellow, green and more.

We have also made a special purchase of sunflowers for $2.50 per stem or 5 for $10 including tax.

A Heartfelt Tribute

Our Heartfelt Tribute wreath was custom designed for a customer who wanted a purple memorial wreath for a coworker who had passed. We liked the results so much that we made it a part of our assortment. This beautiful wreath measures over 24" tall. By using large flowers, we were able to keep the price down to just $150, including the easel stand. Deluxe and premium versions are available at $175 and $200.

What makes our phaelenopsis orchids special? It is the way we dress them. All of our orchids are put into premium pots, finished with moss and branches and then accented with shells or stones. We carefully select our orchids for bloom count and prefer the waterfall shape for how they show off the orchid's delicate blooms.

Our orchids begin at $80 for a single orchid, nicely dressed in a premium container or $100 as shown above. We can also combine two orchids with green plants for $150.
