Feelings are undoubtedly the accurate indication of what is coming. You put yourself in a state of allowing the flow of life energy when you are in happy frame of mind because at this state of mind, there are no resistance from you. This means, the absence of negative emotions like worry, fear, irksome, anger are not given room to exist when you are happy.

But at times, you would really like to know in which state of mind you are at a time. It happens to all of us. We neither feel happy nor sad. We may neither be positive nor negative. If you are unsure of how you feel, you cannot understand which way your emotions are taking you.

How do you find out your current state of energy?
Even this inert stage is not a good sign. You need to push up your emotions. A good way is to reach for a feeling of relief giving thoughts. This is possible when you release thoughts of resistance. In fact, resistance is immediately released when your thoughts give you a sense of relief from your earlier state of being.

Your mood is always indicating to you what is coming.

For majority of the people, irrespective of their spiritual and cultural beliefs, the spiritual truth is elusive. Why it so? Are the dogmas they were taught were insufficient? Or, are the dogmas became redundant in today’s materialistic world?

I pondered hard on this subject but stopped now as I think I realized the true purpose of the birth as per Hindu religious teachings.

You could put forward arguments based on what you heard and read. Your line of question is always, “Why matters of spiritual significance are hard to verify and validate?”

I am sure the answer would be always elusive because the very nature of your question which is you are trying to verify and validate. As long as you are seeking logical explanation on spiritual matters, you would never find the truth.

In spite of man’s unlimited thinking and visualizing potential, it is still bound by certain limitations. Don’t we all say this whenever we are not absolutely sure about something: “As far as my knowledge…”

Our realm of thinking would not lead us to enlightenment. Our efforts such meditation, penance or any such things to find the true meaning of birth, the nature of soul etc won’t reveal us the answers without God’s willingness.

If you ask me how to invoke His willingness, I would say you should be spiritually ready to receive it. God knows when you are ready.

In order to be ready, you should reflect the true nature of your soul in your speech, thoughts and deeds.

What is the true nature of your inner self (soul)?

Unconditional love

Your soul is embedded with Godly qualities of love and forgiveness. That you should exhibit in your thoughts, speech and actions.

Your soul never worries; it is supremely happy always.

Are you?

If you are not, then, you are not ready in God’s mind.

Your soul is an embodiment of blissful knowledge.

Can you claim to possess the ultimate knowledge?

Your soul is covered with your ignorance. That is why you are behaving like an ordinary human being with all his limitations. Unless the ignorance is lifted, you will not be enlightened.

How to lift the veil of ignorance?

Again, by exhibiting the natures of your soul such as unconditional love and forgiveness, you can see for yourself your true nature.

It means the life of your dreams is certainly possible and people prove that every day.

You might have looked at one of them today or yesterday or a year before but still they had not made any impact on you.

Because, you were (still are) looking at the wrong direction or were looking only at you.

The decision about what you will become is made each day and every day only by you. To make it possible solely depends on you. You are the only person that can sabotage your dreams and desires.

If you look at the right direction, you join the above list.

First decide what you want to become; what sort of life do you think you would like to lead for the rest of your life. Please be realistic without sounding negative.

Now make a plan of action that would take you towards your destination. Read books on people whom you have admired. Talk to your parents and seek their help. Don’t brush them away as your inferiors. Parents can make things better for you. Just trust them. God trusted them to deliver you.

Now take inspired action. Ideas are just thoughts or words until acted upon. Millions of people have ideas that they consider them as great. People who act on their ideas are the ones who gain the wealth, wealth and wisdom.

Like you, I was also attracted by the title, "Where souls meet". As I have learnt quite a bit of knowledge on the subject through Hindu religious discourses, I expected to find information related to that.

I only read two sentences in that article. What a garbage! It was written by someone who definitely has no knowledge of :
* What happens immediately after death
* What happens after 15 days of death
* Where the soul goes after leaving the body
* Would it return the house it has lived till renouncing the body
* How will long it will remain as a soul
* Will it meet other souls
* When it will renter another body

These are all very interesting to read but may not be truly useful because as human beings we just don't know how to live following individual religious scripts.

“To change your life, you should change your beliefs”

“You should believe 100% to initiate the law of attraction”

-These are authored by our peers, read by us a thousand times, tried to practice what we believed but are yet to attract our desires-won’t you agree?

Had anyone us questioned the veracity of believing 100% on anything, we would not have been probably tearing our hair apart to get that elusive 100% belief.

Yes, it is not possible to formulate a new belief replacing an existing one and turn it to 100% so that we can manifest what we believed to be possible. The existing belief had taken a deep root in our subconscious mind. It would simply not allow it to be replaced fully?

Does it mean, is it possible to establish a go between-probably a 50% belief? Sure, to be on the safe side, make it 51%.

Don’t ask me if it is enough to get our desires to manifest. It is not enough. We need a 100% belief.

If after all, we can make ourselves to believe in something new to the extent of 51%, surely, we can train our conscious mind to make it 100%-is not possible?

I am thinking aloud on the reasons for the difference between people who are getting what they want and those who never get anything.

I would like take my focus away from the first category of people and talk to the second category that comprises most of the mankind who have firmly concluded already that their life is on hold and that is why they are not manifesting anything they want.

On a further analysis of this majority of people, I sense 50% of them lack motivation. They seem to be waiting for something or somebody to place them on the first category of successful people.

Tell me,

· Are you waiting for an angel or someone to come along?

· Are you waiting on a great job to fall into your lap?

· Are you waiting on winning the lottery to plan your retirement?

I would like to cite an example here. One of my husband’s very close friends sought my husband’s help to start a blog on spirituality. My husband obliged him, taught him the basics of blogging and helped him to publish his first blog post. This happened in the year 2008. Not a single word was further added to his blog. He simple is waiting for a cosmic force to reveal divinely the art of blogging.

He is a grand example of people who waits for something to unfold instead of reaching out to pull a string that would unfold the life’s surprises. The only difference between him and the people, who are getting what they want, is that they kept moving and he didn’t.

Stop waiting, move man, move!

People searching for ways to manifest their desire spiritually are often mistaken about desire and want. A basic want can become a desire only on prolonged thinking about it.

There is a Sanskrit saying: “Yathopasanam, thatha palam”. It means what you focus on would manifest in reality. Look where the modern advocates of “thoughts become things” and “you are what you think” have derived these prophecies.

You may want something now but may not want it the next moment or the next day. Law of Attraction (LOA) won’t work with these conflicting change in wants. Wants are granted by the cosmic force almost immediately but desires take a long time to materialize because, you must keep thinking about what you want dearly for long without changing or swapping for similar things.

Allowing a desire is truly letting the Law of Attraction to work on its own time and terms.

Have you heard of another term for manifesting desires? It is called “Deliberate Creation”.

Destiny and its misconceptions.

For a long time, I wanted to think loudly on ‘destiny’ and its misconceptions. It is amusing to note that Destiny takes more blame than anything else in the world.

“Destiny”, perhaps the oft repeated word by everyone who is not living a life they desire is surely enigma for all of us unless we are sages. What does destiny mean? When we utter the word ‘destiny’ which is also referred to as ‘fate’, we imply to something that would happen or had happened inevitably. Destiny also means something which is beyond our control.

Our religions have made us believe strongly that our life events are clearly pre-written by our creator. Modern spiritual speakers argue that we create our own destiny by our thoughts. Those that do not fall into the above two categories, laugh at the word destiny and believers in it.

I am an Hindu. As per my vedic scriptures, our current life is an ultimate product of previous life’s thoughts and deeds which we call it ‘karma’. The good deeds of previous life would mostly decide the good fortunes in the current life. It is widely reported that many westerners who belong to other religions have started the sense in the Hindu religion.

If you are not inclined to any religion but would unconditionally favor logic and science, then you would argue that our life is shaped up by many aspects of our environment, the beliefs with which we grow and attitude towards life and the family background and geographical location.

Living with believing parents would mould your life even if you start living away from them after 25 years or so as by that time, your subconscious mind would have recorded all of your earlier beliefs and it would guide accordingly.

Many people say that the college has a great influence in shaping up your beliefs and attitudes. I beg to disagree. While it would make behave a revel or radical for some time, eventually, your deep rooted subconscious mind would make you live your rest of the life as per beliefs recorded in it.

Nevertheless, without exception, in all our lives we would have accepted the existence of destiny. This final acknowledgement of fate happens only when we clearly realize that in spite of our focused efforts, something might go opposite of the expected.

We realize, “Not all are in my control and someone else is sitting at the steering wheel”.

I am sure you would have been at the receiving end of criticism when you declared that fate finalized an event. Though, invariably, it would have made you sad, there are times when we you were happy but definitely not attributed it towards fate.

How to get rid of the fear of lacking.

Worldwide, in every religion (there may be exceptions), it is a common practice to ask for something when people sit in front of God to pray. It is how we were all taught and it is in our blood to ask for money, job, house, car, travel, dress, gold and what not?

Sometimes we do get what we have asked for but not always! Agreed?

What does this mean?
*Have we not been sincere in our prayer?
*When we asked for something, have we felt in all honesty that we really never needed it?
*Have we felt wrong to have asked for something immediately after asking?
*Have we secretly held on to a belief that we may not get what we asked for?

While all the above reasons might be true, there is another reason which is not generally recognized by us. God knows what to give to us and what not give to us. So, it is never needed to pray for something. God will always take of his children whether you love him or not; whether you pray or not.

If only this truth sinks in every one of us, we can easily get rid of the fear of lacking.

Water meditation.

Water meditation is not new to me but I know it is unheard of for many. Water being the ultimate purifier of everything physical, it is surely capable of cleansing our physical as well as mental pains and congestion.

The act of water meditation first requires to believe in the cleansing power of water. Then, you say a silent prayer to water to relieve you from your sufferings whatever it may be.

A tub of water may be mixed with an aromatic oil. (No don't call it yet as aromatherapy). A few drops of pure sandalwood oil is ideal. After saying your prayer, get into the water tub and relax for about 15 minutes. While inside the water, do some basic breathing exercise.

Important:
Don't focus on your sufferings that you have already prayed for. Focus on your breathing only.

Finally, after you get out of the tub say a silent thanks to the water for making you alright. It is important.

My husband used to do this in a swimming pool by letting out of the air in his body, sink to the bottom of the pool and lay there for just 120 seconds.
That was 30 years before. Now, he won't even step into a water tub.

Another form of water meditation is to just listen to the sound of water falling from a fountain or the sound of flowing water in a stream. This should be a daily meditation for 15 minutes. It has done wonders in my life.

I certainly don't agree with the author of this article though I know I have to allow others to differ from me. It is obvious that someone doesn't fully realize the power of good feeling. Venting badly is an act of self sabotage.

Curtailing temper is like a penance. Those who practice this character is on his way to gain Godly qualities. Only such people know how they will feel when they happen to break their penance just because they read somewhere that it is alright to behave a like a normal human being.

It is totally against the true nature of the soul in our body.

My husband read an article in a U.S. news site about the growing need of people from all walks of life, a good night sleep that is filled with peace and not dreams. A dream filled sleep is not considered as a peaceful sleep.

Fleming was a poor Scottish farmer. One day, while trying to make a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. He dropped his tools and ran to the bog.

There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself. Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death.

The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings. An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy Farmer Fleming had saved.

"I want to repay you," said the nobleman. "You saved my son’s life."

"No, I can't accept payment for what I did," the Scottish farmer replied waving off the offer. At that moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel.

"Is that your son?" the nobleman asked.

"Yes," the farmer replied proudly.

"I'll make you a deal. Let me provide him with the level of education my own son will enjoy if the lad is anything like his father, he'll no doubt grow to be a man we both will be proud of." And that he did.

A voyaging ship was wrecked during a storm at sea and only two of the men on it were able to swim to a small, desert like island. The two survivors, not knowing what else to do, agree that they had no other recourse but to pray to God. However, to find out whose prayer was more powerful, they agreed to divide the territory between them and stay on opposite sides of the island.

The first thing they prayed for was food. The next morning, the first man saw a fruit-bearing tree on his side of the land and he was able to eat it's fruit. The other man's parcel of land remained barren!

After a week, the first man was lonely and he decided to pray for a wife. The next day, there was a woman who swam to his side of the land. On the other side of the island, again there was nothing!

Soon the first man prayed for a house, clothes, more food. The next day, like magic, all of these were given to him. However, the second man still had nothing!

Finally, the first man prayed for a ship, so that he and his wife could leave the island. In the morning, he found a ship docked at his side of the island. The first man boarded the ship with his wife and decided to leave the second man on the island. He considered the other man unworthy to receive God's blessings, since none of his prayers had been answered.

As the ship was about to leave, the first man heard a voice from heaven booming, "Why are you leaving your companion on the island?"

"My blessings are mine alone, since I was the one who prayed for them," the first man answered. "His prayers were all unanswered and so he does not deserve anything."

"You are mistaken!" the voice rebuked him. "He had only one prayer, which I answered. If not for that, you would not have received any of my blessings."

"Tell me, O God," the first man asked the voice, "What did he pray for that I should owe him anything?"

"He prayed that all your prayers be answered."

For all we know, our blessings are not the fruits of our prayers alone, but those of another praying for us.

I am an emotionally well balanced woman. Though serious, I take things lightly and move on. None can hurt me or make me feel inferior. Having said all that, most of the people who know me inside out stay at their arms length from me. It is a sign that many men and women in the world can't stand outright honesty and shocking frankness.

I am sure you are wondering why I am saying all these? You see, yesterday, after 10 PM, a stranger rang the door bell, silently handed me a small jewel box and bide adieu.

I gingerly opened it to find a crystal of Rose Quartz. It is said to be an emotional healer apart from curing heart ailments. Another unique quality of Rose Quartz is it helps one release repressed emotional wounds.

What does it all mean? Am I having repressed hurts without my knowledge buried deep in my subconscious mind?

I presume you have read my previous post titled, “Change is possible…”. Now, ask yourself, are you resisting changes in your life? How do you react to a change in your life that is about to take place?

Are you afraid of it or do you welcome it?

If you are not willing to cooperate with a change in life situations, do you know that you may miss out something exciting and refreshing? People who don’t allow themselves the luxury of changes stay where they are. They are literally stunting their own growth.

Yes, change means growth and growth is always for the better-right? Experiences hitherto unknown is certainly rewarding and make you mature. If you don’t embrace changes, it will be an unfulfilled life.

Life will be dull without changes. Imagine your own life where you spend at the bottom of your career while witnessing stupendous growth among your friends, relatives and colleagues.

Remember, changes bring opportunities to explore new vistas, experience blissful relationship and so on.

Your body changes (grows) without your consent. On the other hand, your mental growth purely depends on your volition.
