<h3 style="text-align: left;">First off, Lewis Howes, LinkedIn Marketing Ninja</h3>
<p>Who is this guy <img src='http://chilesadvertising.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  Lewis is a webinar marketing magician as well as a former arena football record holder. He literally wrote the book on LinkedIn after a stint in the hospital. He is currently <a href="http://www.lewishowes.com/events/" target="_blank">speaking all over the place</a> and you can hire him for LinkedIn marketing too.</p>
<blockquote><p>Lewis Howes, a previous two sport collegiate All-American, is also the NCAA All-Division Record Holder for the most receiving yards in a single football game (418 yards, the current unofficial World Record).</p>
<p>In addition to Sports Networker, Lewis is the co-author of the LinkedIn success book,<em><a title="LinkedIn Book" href="http://www.linkedworkingbook.com/" target="_blank">LinkedWorking: Generating Success on the World’s Largest Professional Networking Website</a></em><em> </em>and most recently published <em>LinkedIn Master Strategies</em>.</p></blockquote>

<p>Call it whatever you want. Hot button. Dominant emotions, buying triggers, etc.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s all the same thing-you are trying to identify, with absolute certainty, your audience&#8217;s main reason for wanting to buy your product.</p>
<h3>Write To Your Market&#8217;s Head</h3>
<p>Let&#8217;s say your market is politicians.</p>
<p>They relish marketing values such as appearance, relationships to influencial people, and back room deals <img src='http://chilesadvertising.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  Writing in a very hype-sales guns blazing kind of style will not resonate with them. In fact, they&#8217;ll probably run for the hills.</p>
<p>Plus, using a ton of bold or highlighted copy will not hit their emotional hot buttons either. So, let&#8217;s get down to brass tacks. I&#8217;ll show you how this really works to sharpen your sales pen to sell to just about anybody, and this post will get your juices flowing to rock n&#8217; roll on your next sales pitch&#8230;<span id="more-151"></span></p>
<h3>Stick With What Works</h3>
<p>Your copy (and your designs on your website) should match what your target audience is used to reading&#8230;If we&#8217;re going after politicians, then some colors will work better than others in terms of building trust and rapport with them.</p>
<h3>Talk The Talk, Walk The Walk</h3>
<p>Use strong, vibrant colors like green, dark blue, dark red, and black. Go to Wall Street Journal and look at the writing style, head on over to Business Week and TIME magazine as well. Pick up a copy of Fortune as well. Here are some sites you can reference for further study.</p>
