BeautyUK have recently launched these gorgeous blush colours which are perfect for spring/summer as they just have that summery look and feel about them.

I wanted to show you each colour in detail and you can see some of them have a shimmer to them and some are matte....it all depends on the look you want but normally I like having a shimmer in my blush as I feel that it makes me look healthier.....if I don't have a shimmer in my blush then I'll add a highlighter to it just to brighten my face.

I love the fact that you get a little brush to apply the blush with....if you're in a rush you can do most of your make-up at home and then take this with you to do on your way to work (if you travel by train) it's such a handy thing to have with you although it would be good to include a mirror....that would make things easier! :)

I love the colours but I did find that the quality isn't great....it didn't last as long as I would like BUT for £2.99 this is a bargain and I would definitely recommend having it in your make-up kit as you can just add a bit more throughout the day.

My favourite out of all of them is Dawn Glow & Upper East Side as they complimented my skin tone more....I like the little touch of shimmer in these too and I blended them together to give my skin a healthy glow.

Use Upper East Side on your cheekbones, apply Dawn Glow on the apples of your cheeks (plumpest part when you smile) and blend them together....this is a gorgeous combination!

For £2.99 you can't go wrong and you can just add this to your kit...you can even use this as a lip colour if you wish by applying it to your lips and then applying lip balm over it to blend....simple!

Well earlier today I was reading through my favourite blogs and online magazines only to find that I have missed Illamasqua's new collection which launched about 2 weeks ago.

The new collection is called 'Paranormal' which I think would have been an even bigger hit to be released around Halloween time as you could have much more fun with the colours.

One of my favourite things about the whole range is that it includes 3 gorgeous limited edition nail colours that glow under a UV black light.

Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your

palettes and eyeshadows?

I would rather lose ALL of my palettes and eyeshadows....you don't need to cake your face in make-up as you can create lovely looks with an eyeliner, a few coats of mascara, turn your lipstick into a cream blusher.....why do you need palettes!? ;)

Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?

Oh no....... hahahaha well I would 100% look like a boy if I cut off all my hair but at least any split ends would go away and if I could do it for a good cause and raise money then it might be the way to go as hair will always grow back!

Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?

Ok.....I didn't think this would be as hard but I love both colours.....pink makes you look younger instantly and coral gives you a healthy glow.....can I blend both and say I'll pick corink or poral.....hahahahahahaha!

If you had £1000 to spend, Would you rather buy clothes or makeup?

You all know how much I adore makeup but I'm going to go for clothes....I LOVE clothes! Plus I have my own make-up range so I suppose it's a little easier for me hahahaha! :)

Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Oh my god both are so bad.....well if I could pick a green lipstick I'd use that as my eyeliner so that probably answers the question :)

Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

I always used to shop in Sephora when I was in Greece so I'm going to stick with that....you get to browse through different brands and it's cheaper and 100% better than M.AC!

Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?

I love brown and grey eyeshadow so it would be one of them colours...if I have to pick between the two I'm going to go for brown as it can take you from day to night!

Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?

I'd rather wear spring clothes all year round...this way I can wear a sweater with shorts when it's colder or a t-shirt with shorts....see clever thinking hahaha!

Would you rather dark nails or bright nails all year round?

Dark nails look incredibly classy and gorgeous all year round but bright nails are much more fun....ohhhhh decisions.....

Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?

Didn't I answer this question above!? No???

Ok well I would rather give up my favourite lip product so I can wear my lovely brown eyeshadow!

Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a pony tail or a messy bun?

I would rather wear it down and wavy ;) BUT i'm going to pick a messy bun even though it takes me 10 attempts to get it looking OK....

Would your rather never being able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?

I don't think I'd mind never using lipgloss again.....

Fix your make-up, fix your hair...apply lipgloss...walk outside...gust of wind and OH my hair is stuck to my face!!!!!

Hahahahaha......can you imagine Sharpie eyebrows....LOL!!!

Oh I wouldn't want to but I'd rather shave my eyebrows and draw them in using special eyebrow powder....

Does anyone remember those days in school where it was fashionable to shave a little part of your eyebrow....how awful!!!!

Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?

Oooooh ok.....I don't like bare nails....I'm so used to having my nails painted and pretty that I don't like bare nails at ALL!

My nails are bare now as I thought to leave them for the day to 'breathe' but I don't like it hahaha....saying that I don't look like not wearing any makeup at all.....can I please be allowed to wear mascara....yes!?....thank you! :)

H&M Press Day - Summer Collection 2013

A couple of weeks ago I was invited ti view the new summer collection from H&M...it was one of my first fashion press events and I was extremely excited that I had been invited! :)

Of course I took some pictured for you to view the collection so really you were all there with me ;)

Snacks and drinks were being served by the sweetest waiters....I actually wanted to hug one of them cause she was just so cute but I didn't because that's weird haha!!

After having a look round I came to the conclusion that these things will be HUGE this summer!

I imagine all of the magazine to be filled with the points listed above so I'll definitely be on the lookout!

I love bright colours and just feel like sunshine and warm weather makes everyone want to experiment more with fashion and take a risk....this is why I see so many gorgeous fashion bloggers in L.A & Milan...they have beautiful weather!!

One thing which I would like for all you beautiful readers to know is that I was extremely disappointed after 10 minutes of my arrival.

A woman entered the room and ALL of the staff rushed over to her like she was some celebrity, they were offering her clothes to wear and told her whatever she wanted to let them know and they will go and see if they have it in stock.

I'm sorry but when you hold a press event you treat EVERYONE the same, you either offer EVERYONE clothes to check out and wear or you don't let ANYONE wear any clothes.....she was an extremely stuck up woman and didn't even remove her sunglasses.

Now you may think I'm coming across as bitter but I'm not....I'm expressing my opinion and I believe that companies should treat everyone the same and offer everyone the same....we bloggers take more time and put more effort into our posts and try to make our photos look wonderful for our readers so we too should be respected in the same way as they treat their 'models'...

I was very disappointed after that and wanted to leave quickly as I felt like I was just invited for a free post but with the free post I am expressing my opinion :)

Anyway I hope you all enjoy the photos and look out for some wonderful things coming soon from H&M! :)

I love my coral colours and Essie - Tart Deco is probably one of my favourite coral colours at the moment!

It's got a creaminess to it which you don't find in many nail polishes...they're either too orange, too red but not this one it's just right (for me)

By adding one coat of Rimmel's Shirley Temple it did turn it more orangey as you can see in the picture BUT it didn't bother me at all on this occasion as it had a lovely gold shimmer running through it which was gorgeous and perfect for the sun!

I got both of these colours for my birthday as a present and only now did I think to mix the two together....I'm actually wearing the same colour on my toes too as it's just such a summery colour and looks perfect peeking through sandals! :)

How can you achieve this colour?

It's really not hard at all!

You need to apply 2 coats of Essie Tart Deco and one coat of Rimmel's Shirley Temple!

Let it dry and that's it!

This has been pictured with NO top coat so you can see there is a lovely shine to it too! :)

Spring Fun - Polyvore Trends

Ah, the wonderful Polyvore collages are back hahahaha!!

I am completely and utterly in love with the sweater which I picked but once I clicked publish - I then realised it was £535.....yes!!! This sweater is £500.........

Anyway I put this together as I thought to colours were absolutely gorgeous and will suit every skin tone as the colours are deep and will make your skin look healthy.

This past week we've seen lots of sunshine in the UK and fingers crossed it carries on this way.....

For days when you don't really want to wear a jacket put on a cute sweater, match your jeans and add a pair of beige lace ballet pumps....lace and beige go hand in hand as they pretty much go with anything from jeans to a cute floaty dress.

Stacked bangles give you a bit of colour clash and the envelope clutch just polishes the look without it looking too 'fixed' or 'perfect' it's like an effortless chic look which is what I like.

A day ago I received this lovely little sample pack from Garnier who have announced that they are launching a new range of moisturisers which have been 'tailor made' for each skin type.

The little pack opens up and gives you information about the moisturisers and why your skin will love it....I haven't read it so I can't tell you exactly what it says...

This is NOT a review, this is a just a little post to share what I am going to be reviewing.

The samples are little sachets so I don't think it'll take that long to use up but it's still a sample which I'm really excited to try!! :)

Met Gala 2013 - Beauty & Fashion

Well I know I may be a little late but it's better late than never!

The Met Gala 2013 was held earlier this week and all the celebrities were told that the theme was a 'punk' theme....some celebrities decided to go all out, some got it WRONG but some got it so, so RIGHT!!

In my opinion Anne Hathaway & Miranda Kerr got it RIGHT.

They both looked effortlessly chic, flawless and just downright gorgeous!

ANNE HATHAWAY

I'm in LOVE with Anne Hathaway's new hair colour and the smoky eye look she went for really complimented her new hair.

THE dress was gorgeous with the lighter beige detail making it look like it was a cut-out detailed design giving her curves.

MIRANDA KERR

Miranda Kerr always looks gorgeous in a more hollywood glamour sort of way.

Her hair was swept to one side in loose curls and her make-up was simple with statement red lips.

DRESS was another gorgeous floor-length gown with beautiful cut-out detail showing off her Victoria Secrets Angel body.....this is what us girlies go to the gym for!

Who got it WRONG

Miley Cyrus looked like she got electricuted before she went out....what on earth was with her hair....did she actually think she looked good!?

Nicole Richie....what did you do to your gorgeous hair!? Blonde and brown both look good on you but GREY...really!?

Yes...some of you will say let the haters hate but I'm not a hater....I love the fact that Miley chopped off her hair (took out the extensions) as she looks so much better and refreshing!

She has really been experimenting with her hair more lately and I really enjoy seeing what she'll do with it but seriously....spikes!?

Nicole Richie...she's a fashion icon and always a few steps ahead but grey hair is a massive NO to her....it just doesn't compliment her skin tone at all!

Now Kelly Osbourne could pull it off....

Overall my favourite look of the night was Anne Hathaway...I think she looked absolutely stunning!!

Imperial Leather - Jasmine Spa Shower Gel

A few weeks ago I got sent a wonderful shower gel by Imperial Leather to celebrate the launch of their NEW and improved shower gels and have been looking forward to trying it as soon as possible but as I have other shampoos and bath care products which I needed to test I put this on the back shelf until now.

I have always enjoyed using Imperial Leather shower gels as they smell incredible and leave my skin feeling soft and smooth after a shower....sometimes I would reach for a refreshing shower gel and other times when I wanted to relax I would pick a lovely deep scent.

Japanese Spa is a mixture of wonderful ingredients and smells.

The Scent.

I love the smell of this shower gel as you would expect it to be sickly sweet reading the front of the bottle but it's a lovely creamy blend of jasmine, rice milk and green tea....it's not overpowering at all and it seems the balance is perfect between the sweet floral scent from the jasmine, the creaminess of the rice milk and the green tea just gives it that hint of fresh.

The first thing you smell is the wonderfully floral jasmine.

Jasmine is one of my favourite flowers (along with Gardenia which just about beats it) as it reminds me of being a young girl, playing in the sunshine on holiday in Greece, running up the stairs to the balcony area to grab some water and running past the massive jasmine plant which had grown and blossomed....the smell just followed me up the stairs and it was beautiful.....a memory which I will never forget.

The texture.

It's a very creamy shower gel, you only need a little amount and you get lots of bubbles to play with!! It's a creamy, luxurious texture which will make your skin feel super soft and smooth.

I think deep, deep down we ALL love shoes...yes you men out there....you know you love your shoes too!! ;)

Shoes are an accessory and can make or break an outfit....you can experiment with your colours, styles, textures, looks, heel size etc and it just has to blend and make your look flow and look effortless.....my best outfits have been put together in a matter of minutes...it's best to not think about things too much otherwise you end up going over the top and making your outfit look too polished and perfect.

AEOS Skincare & Summer Sunshine

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that I would be reviewing some skincare products from AEOS but I only took a picture of the packaging.

Seeing as we've been having some glorious days here in the UK I decided to take a picture of the actual bottles so you can see them up close and (almost) personal!

The bottles are glass so I'm always quite wary when I take them out of the boxes (Yes- I like to keep perfumes, skincare and makeup in its box)

The glass gives you that touch of luxury though which is always nice- especially in the bathroom closet.

So far I love the 'Dew Facial Wash' and the 'Refreshing Hydrating Mist' as it smells lovely and fresh and leaves my skin feeling revitalised BUT the 'Enriching Moisturiser' I'm not too keen on the smell....It may grow on my but at the moment I don't like it...it reminds me of hay!?

This is NOT a full review....just a couple of pictures so you can see the bottles! :)

I love shopping as it gives me the opportunity to look through clothes, colours, styles and textures...I prefer seeing things up close and personal rather than through a magazine.

There used to be a time when I would buy every single magazine, each and every week without fail.....In the end my wardrobe shelves had filled with magazines and I realised I needed to clear it out and stop buying them hahahaha!!!

TK MAXX is a place I enjoy visiting as you get so much variety, so many brands, so many colours, so many clothes and accessories, it's like a mini haven for us that love shopping.

I picked up my beautiful, colourful handbag which you can see pictured above at the BARGAIN price of £12!!!!!!!

Can you believe that this beautiful baby was only £12!!

I couldn't believe it when I saw it and I knew I had to buy it.....I was in love with one look!

The colour first of all just shouts SUMMER and I love the little padlock on the front which you can open with a secret key.....hahaha it's just so cute and I have been wearing it everyday since the purchase!!

Summer shoes from.....Brantano!?!

Summer Tropical Espadrilles

A couple of weeks ago I popped into my local Brantano store and was having a little browse, to me Brantano has always been the go to place for parents and kids for school shoes BUT I was pleasantly surprised by how much they have changed.

You can now find lots of fashionable shoes from various brands at various prices and I find that really lovely.

I always think it's really nice to be able to go into a store and have variety in styles, colours and trends because you may like something and the person next you won't but at least this way you know 9 times out of 10 you'll find something.

In my local store there's also a section with lovely handbags, overnight bags and beach bags.

I then decided to check out their website where you can again browse through different brands and specify your search for a certain item....out of luck I cam across the shoes pictured above.

I never really liked Espadrilles but they have become a guilty pleasure and I'm liking the look of them more and more.....maybe enough to buy these!?!?!

Some of you will be like ewwwww....but that's the wonderful thing about variety!

I can totally imagine wearing these with a pair of denim shorts, vest top and blazer....ah, too cute!!

Anyway make sure you all check out Brantano, I would browse through their website first and if you find something you like you can reserve and collect it in store!!

The wonders of websites and technology these days!

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy your week and hopefully the lovely weather we have seen in the UK will remain for a while...I need to tan more!! Hahaa

The Shorts Story - Summer Style!

Wooooooo!!!

When the sun starts to peek through them clouds and you start to feel the weather getting warmer you know summer is on the way.....let me re-phrase that....you HOPE summer is on the way!!

Especially here in the UK, you need to have hope that the weather will get better hahaha!!

Last week we had some lovely days and I really wanted to wear shorts but I didn't!

Instead I wore a little jacket, vest top, jeans and little ballet pumps......so nice from the usual coat, jeans and boots!!

Anyway after looking on Polyvore (my new favourite fashion site) I started looking for shorts and created this little collage pictured above!!

How cute are the beautiful colours and patterns!?

I would buy each and every pair of the shorts pictured as you can really experiment with your fashion, wear a cute sweater and shorts, a cute vest top and shorts, a vest and blazer with shorts....you can really go mad!!

Sunshine & Blue Sky

This is my view right now!

I just wanted to share this with you and to say a massive thank you to each and every follower.

I know I don't have many followers but without you my blog wouldn't be where it is.

I appreciate all your comments, emails, questions, opinions and love.

I started this blog just over a year ago now and I never thought I would have met so many wonderful, gorgeous people through it.

I am honoured to be able to sit here on a lovely sunny day and to share one simple photo with you...even if one person smiles or feels better with my post/blog then I'm happy.

I'm not here to make money through my blog or to become 'famous' no, I started my blog to share my thoughts, products, reviews, tips and opinions in the hope that some people will feel like they enjoy it enough to follow it and to share their opinions, thoughts, links and reviews through it too.

I spend time and effort on my blog and posts to make it the best it can be and from just over a year ago it has come a long way :)

Anyway that's enough of the emotion...I'm going to make myself a frappe (cold coffee) and put it in my Starbucks holder....with a straw hahahaaha!

I was walking past a store in London a few days ago and this collection really caught my eye....I think it was the bright colours and gorgeous jeans.

I looked around and realised it was 'Aftershock London'....a lot of people may not have heard of them but they're a wonderful fashion brand and relatively affordable!!

I am completely and utterly in love with each look in the window display...I was just taking photos of it until the saleswoman started looking at me through the window...pahahahahaha!!!

Things like that make me laugh my little head off!!

I love experimenting with different looks and colours, it's so much fun and feel like this is the best way to express how you're feeling during the day.

Colour says a lot about a person as I've seen it from myself, if I'm not too happy I won't wear too much colour and if I'm happy I'll wear bright colours - especially in the summer!

My nails, they're another story - I always wear colour hahaha!

I put this look together on Polyvore as I think it's really cute and you can change it from the day to an evening look....especially during the spring/early summer.

Just take off the biker jacket and you have your lovely red blazer to take you through that evening, lovely if you're attending a party for some drinks on a rooftop in London somewhere.......SUMMER HURRY!!!

There have been a lot of press days the past week or so and I was invited to a couple so here is the first one I'm going to be chatting about!

It was a press day for YUMI clothing and I have been a fan of the brand for a couple of years now, I like their clothes as they're not available EVERYWHERE which means you can pick up some pieces which will be slightly unique and not worn by every single person like a lot of the high street stores!

For me YUMI has always been a quirky, stylish, simple brand and this is what I love, less is more with clothing....I like keeping things quite simple, comfortable and fashionable, there's nothing worse than wearing clothes that are too tight, not flattering as this makes you feel bad and you project a bad energy!

The things which I picked out from their Autumn/Winter collection for 2013 is that the clothing ranges from colourful prints, chunky sweaters, studded shoulders and statement necklines....these are the main things which I picked out!

They've also changed their logo which you can see pictured in the second picture, the face for their collection is Nina Nesbitt who is a singer/model, I love the jumper and dress she's wearing in the pictures and as you can see in the collage (first picture) the items were next to the pictures so you could see them in person.

What's the quality like?

I like the quality of YUMI clothing, considering their prices are really affordable the quality is incredible. I purchased two bags from their website a couple of months ago and used one of them on a daily basis for 3 months straight (I loved it) and it didn't change, it still looks brand new (I'll show you pictures in a post)

So to answer the question the quality and pricing is really good!

What to look out for in Autumn/Winter 2013?

OK, so I would say look out for statement necklines, studs, chunky sweaters and colourful prints!!

What was my experience like?

I really enjoyed the press day for YUMI, it was simple, easy to look through the clothing and I got a goody bag at the end with some bits and pieces and a lovely scarf which I'll definitely be wearing!!

You're outside all day; you have you take care of your skin. With that being said, waterproof mascara! My lashes can't quit on me no matter how bright, hot, or humid it may be. I still want a great frame for my eyes.

What are your top tips for surviving Coachella?

My top tips for surviving Coachella are to hydrate and wear layers. The temperature is going to fluctuate so be ready to strip down during the day and layer up at night. Another tip is to wear a matte lipstick. It's going to wear longer and be more resilient throughout the day.

If Coachella was a M∙A∙C product – what would it be?

If Coachella was a M∙A∙C product I'd say it’s black eye liner. Easily an everyday staple that gets sexy at night.
