I use to think that everything had to be perfect. I use to think that if I didn't have my house in order when someone stopped by that I was a failure. I use to think that people would see a smudge on my son's face and think we were slobs or a stain on my daughter's shirt and think that we were dirty. </div>

Then I had a breakdown. An honest to goodness, I can't take this anymore breakdown. I knew that I couldn't keep up with what I was trying to do and still be a good mom. I knew that something was going to have to give. I decided to be lazy. I had to in order to save my sanity. So, I get less done but I still get stuff done. I don't have the perfect house or spotless children but I do have happy children and I'm always looking for ways to make them happy . . . but while using the least amount of effort possible because, after all, I'm a Lazy Mom.</div>
