They wanted to identify if they matched exactly or not because the file dates were different.
a: A simple hash should help with that.


Open an elevated command prompt
Run this command
CertUtil -hashfile c:\path-to-file\filename.txt MD5
This will generate an MD5 of the file. Without the MD5 switch it will default to SHA1.

a: Windows 10 had recently upgraded the system and it was in Tablet mode. We clicked Tablet mode to disable it and everything went back to normal. &amp;nbsp;NOTE: Most of the tray icons were missing and the desktop was the start menu open.
