Good morning and welcome back to the inspiration blog.  I have a fun vintage birthday card this morning.  I used the Party Time Tails Stamps & Dies, which have so many cute vintage style images in a party theme.  I just love this little yellow kitty.

I started by stamping the chosen image on an A2 while panel, and colored with alcohol markers.  I die cut the colored image using the coordinating die.

Next, I used the Hand Torn Rectangle die set and die cut a piece of masking paper using one of the middle dies in the set.

I'm using this piece of masking paper to mask the center of the card panel so I can blend ink around the edges.

I'm using two colors of ink for the blending.  The top of the card is blended using Fairie Dust hybrid ink and the bottom of the card is blended with Parisian Purple with a very light hand.  It's a subtle difference, but I like the ombre effect.

Next, I cut the card panel down to 4" x 5.25", then embossed using the Perfect Petals 3D Embossing Folder.  This adds texture and some visual interest to an otherwise simple card panel.

I adhered the card panel to an A2 wisteria cardstock base.  I next added the diecut image using thin foam tape and just a little off center.  The sentiment is heat embossed Raven Ink and it's from the A to Z Sentiments stamp set.  I love this stamp set because the sentiments are lower case, which I think is so fun, and the font is beautiful.  This sentiment also allows the card to be used for any special occasion!  You can customize the inside sentiment for whatever special day is warranted.

To finish off the card, I tucked the sentiment strip up under the kitty's feet so it appears she's standing on it.  It gives the stamped image an anchor.  I adhered it with liquid adhesive to allow maneuverability.  Lastly, I added a splash of sequins for some shine and a little glimmer pen to the party hat and the balloon.

I started stampin one of the beautiful flowers from the "Floral Sketch" stamp set on a white panel.

I then used the "Floral Sketch" masking stencils to color it with rainbow color water reactive inks.

I darkened edges with tea brown ink, I added a bit of texture applying the same color through the bubble stencil from the "Pattern Backgrond" kit and I stamped in black a sentiment from the "Floral Sketch" stamp set.

I splattered with clean water, tone on tone ink and white and gold acrylic paints and that's all.

My main idea with these cards is to use some leftover scraps from my stash, instead of throwing them away.  Just because some of your dies have been discontinued, you can still use them to create beautiful projects!

I searched my LDRS Creative Die Collection and found a lot of colorful die-cuts to make the background for my little Fuzzy Wuzzies!  The first card below contained die-cuts using the Postage Collage Die.  I foam-mounted the 3 rectangles onto the background to create a vignette. 

Next, I die-cut a few little Wuzzies, using the Fuzzy Wuzzies Athletic Supporter Dies.  Since the Wuzzies are quite small, I used a lot of my scrap cardstock to create 3 Fuzzy Wuzzies.  The first green Wuzzy was foam-mounted to the card for added dimension and embellished with yellow stars!

The sentiments from both cards are embossed on black cardstock using the Snarky Best Friends Stamp Set.  Die-cutting these sentiments has been easy-peasy using the Sentiment Stack Coordinating Die.  I have to admit that these stamps and coordinating dies have been one of my absolute favorites!  It's so easy to stamp and die-cut, creating a bunch of sentiments for future card projects!

For the second card, I adhered the 1/2" Background strips with the Zig-Zag Strip with glue.  I foam-mounted two Fuzzy Wuzzies for added dimension and finished the design by also foam-mounting the sentiment strip.  

The Fuzzy Wuzzies Athletic Supporter Stamp & Dies is a great addition to your collection.

So I began by cutting a piece of light blue cardstock down to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches.

Then I used the Land & Sky Stencils and various hybrid inks to create a cute background with a bright sun, soft fluffy clouds and lush green grass.

Next I stamped a sentiment from the Macarons Stamps onto the background in Raven Ink. Then set the panel aside to allow the ink to dry.

I stamped some of the cute critters from the Party Time Tails stamp set and coloured them in with alcohol markers. Once I'd finished colouring, I die cut the images out with the coordinating dies. I also cut an extra set from plain white cardstock and stacked them behind the coloured images to add some extra stability to the die cuts. Something I love doing to images like these is adding extra dots and highlights with a white gel pen. I find it adds much more interest and detail when I do.

When the background was dry I used a ruler and craft knife to cut out a channel in the panel. I made sure to keep the cut out as I knew I wanted to inlay it back in when assembling the card.

Next I die cut 2 of the smallest circles in the Pinpoint Circle die set from heavy weight white cardstock and placed it behind the channel I'd cut in the background. Then used 2 foam squares to attach the circles to the back of the cute Fox with her party balloon.

One circle & foam square was attached behind her head and the other behind her body. This was so the image could slide up and down in the channel. If I'd only attached her in one place, the poor fox would have been spinning around and I didn't want her to get dizzy lol!

I applied a double layer of foam tape behind the card panel and adhered it to my card base. The double layer of foam allows the fox to float up and down freely. Then I spent the next 10 minutes just playing with the card!

To finish of the scene I die cute some flowers from watercolour cardstock and painted them with some watercolours before gluing on the centres. Then sprinkled them onto the card.

And there you have it, a fun interactive card with the most adorable fox floating up into the air with her balloon. Why not try this out for yourself.

First, I used my envelope die from the Gift Card Greetings Stamps and Gift Card Scallop Envelope Die onto light kraft cardstock.

For the next part, I advise you to close it.

So I closed my envelope and put it in my stamping platform. I made sure to secure it with low tack tape so it wouldn't open or move during the process.

After that, I stamped the flowers from the Floral Sketch 5x7 Stamps set on it with brown ink. If you are using a platform, be sure to keep your flower stamps on it and your envelope in the same place because you want to stamp your flowers one last time after your stenciling to get a better finish.

After that, I used my coordinate Layering Stencils on it. First, I used Snowy White on all the parts I would color. The kraft cardstock I used was pretty light, so you can skip this step. However, adding a layer of white ink when you are stamping on colored cardstock is a great way to ensure that your colors will still pop without being too faded or lost in the darker colors.

Once my white layer was dry, I applied pink and green inks with my stencils.

The layers of white and pink ink muted the brown lines, so I stamped my flowers on top one last time for a crisper look.

I also stamped my sentiment.

I added a little depth to the borders of my envelope with a marker.

For the base of my card, I used a 3 3/8" x 4.5" (8.6 cm x 11.4 cm) die from the Pinpoint Rectangles Dies onto pink cardstock. Then, I stamped my Distress Background 5x7 Stamp on it with darker pink ink.

I matted and layered my base with a slightly bigger dark brown rectangle.

Finally, I glued my envelope on the base.

Good morning & welcome back to the LDRS Inspiration Blog.  Today I am making a card for my youngest son using the Fuzzy Wuzzies Athletic Supporter stamp & die set.  This set is part of the new Sweet Escapes release, which has many wonderful new products.

As you can see, there are several sports supported with this new set.  I chose to play with the basketball player today.  Next, I'm going to make a card using the Baseball pieces.  My youngest actually plays college baseball, so I think he will love it.  However, he's also been watching the NBA Finals, so I chose the basketball for today's card.

The inside of the packaging has detailed instructions on how to make each character to give you an idea of where to start.  Then, you can let your imagination fly.

I started this card by masking off 1/3 of the card vertically.  I'm going to ink blend that section with In Your Face Orange hybrid ink.  LDRS Ink blends so smooth and dries back very even making it very forgiving to use.  I love the subtle texture that ink blending gives a card over using a piece of cardstock.

Next up, I stamped the basketball lines on several areas of an orange piece of cardstock and die cut using the circle die included.  I adhered them randomly using liquid adhesive and trimmed the edges that overhung the ink blended area.

I directly stamped the fuzzy wuzzie in the same orange ink and double stamped to make it very opaque.  I added the basketball stripes, arms, & legs in Raven Ink, also double stamped.  I stamped the sentiment in the lower corner in Raven ink also. I love how well LDRS sentiments stamp so cleanly on the first try!!

  I stamped and die cut the eyes in Raven Ink.  I adhered another basketball to his hand using a small foam square.  Then to finish off the card, I die cut 4 stars from orange and navy cardstock for embellishments.  This happens to be the colors of my son's basketball team when he was a little traveling basketball player.  A little nod to the past!  I also happen to love the look of orange and navy together!

Simple & cute are my favorite kinds of cards.  I'm a CAS kind of card maker (clean and simple)!  I hope you've enjoyed this little tutorial and find some time today to get crafty!!

I started cutting a 5,25"x4" panel from white cardstock and I ink blended it in the middle with water reactive inks (light blue/grey for the sky and light green for the grass).

I splattered with clean water, tone on tone inks and white and gold acrylic paints and I set it aside.

I stamped the two bunnies from the "Party Time Tails" stamp set, I colored them with acohol markers and I cut them with coordinating dies.

I stamped the sentiment using the "About BDAY" collage stamp directly on the panel and I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape

I added some gold seqins here and there and that's all.

Do you ever have a stack of unfinished card bases in your stash that you kept for a while?  I do, and I always keep them in a plastic bin in my craft room, ready for my next project.  Sometimes the simplest projects are the best to create, turning a ho-hum base into a beautiful card!

I started by stamping the Party Time Tails Stamp Set onto Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored with alcohol markers.  I used the Party Time Tails Coordinating Dies to die-cut the images.  Since I already have a 5x7 card base with an ink-blended background in my stash, I decided to add some texture by splattering it with some white watercolor.

I wanted a big, bold sentiment to match my 5x7 birthday card, so I decided to use the Big Word Birthday Die.  Once the sentiment is adhered to the card, I added the little cute mice and finished the design by stamping some black stars using the aLined Geos Stamp Set.  Here's another look at the finished project:

Welcome back everyone.... Corinne here today and I  wanted to share with you 2 clean and simple cards I created using the new Floral Sketch Stamp set 

What a beautiful Stamps set this is..and I just love the sentiments in this set too..

For my first card I used Raven Hybrid ink and stamped it straight on the card front. Colored with Alcohol markers.. 

added a few enamel dots to finish it off...

Stamped my sentiment across the bottom..

For my second card I used the same Floral Sketch Stamp Set  and my stamp platform and stamped the larger stamp coming in from the left side and the smaller one coming in from the top right side. 

I also colored this one with alcohol markers

I stamped and fussy cut the sentiment using foam tape behind it, and then added a few enamel dots.

I hope you love this release as much as I do..

There are so many fun products in the collection that it was really hard to decide what I wanted to use but I finally settled on the adorabe critters from the Party Time Tails Set.

I began by stamping out all of the images from the Party Time Tails Stamp Set in black ink of white heavy weight cardstock. Then coloured them in with alcohol markers in bright and bold colours. Once I'd finished the colouring added some white highlights with a gel pen and cut out the images with the coordinating die set before setting them aside.

To create the background I cut down a piece of blue distressed cardstock from the Wildwood Paper Pack to 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches to use as wallpaper and adhered it to a top folding, landscape card base. For the flooring I cut a strip of woodgrain card stock from the same paper pack and glued it to the bottom of the cardbase. To add defination between the flooring and wallpaper I added a thin strip of white cardstock.

Next, I arranged the coloured critter images onto the card base into a cute party scene and adhered them to the card front. Some images were adhered flat whilst others were popped up on foam squares to create dimension.

I stamped the sentiment  "Have a sweet day" from the Macaron Stamp Set in black Ink onto the background. However I felt that the card was missing something! So I shopped my stash of LDRS Creative products and found the cute puppy image from the Envelope & Postage Collage Stamp Set that I thought looked like a framed picture. I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the image and added it to the wall behind the party guests and it was the perfect addition. I decided not to add any bling as there was already so much going on in this scene and just like that my card was complete.

I cant wait to see what scenes you all create with these gorgeous woodland critters.

Today, I am sharing you fruity tags I made mixing various LDRS products :

Mixed Tag Dies

First, I used the biggest die from the Mixed Tag Dies four times on marker-friendly cardstock.

I stamped part of my Fruit Tree 5x7 Stamps on them with my Raven ink pad.

I colored them with my markers and fussy cut the bottom of two and the top of two.

I cut my tags four more times onto white cardstock. I stamped my Fruit Tree 5x7 Stamps on two of them with green ink and the Distress Background 5x7 Stamp on the other two.

I stamped seals from the Sealed With Comforting Wishes and Sealed With a Kiss sets with yellow ink on white cardstock and cut them with their Coordinating Dies.

I also cut two long green stripes.

I glued my colored elements on the tags with foam pads. I glued a green stripe on each tag and a seal.

I also glued the little green hole reinforcer.

Et voilà !

I love how this card is perfect for birthdays, graduations, and more. My son is a big football fan and is about to move up to middle school, so I made this card for him. I started by stamping and die cutting the football character before creating a simple card design around him. To tie everything together, I used the small football stamp to create a coordinating border that adds just the right amount of detail without overwhelming the focal point.

I kept the color palette limited to brown, white, and blue. My son's favorite color is blue. but you could easily customize this to your own team's colors! I love how this project shows that a simple design can still have plenty of personality. Sometimes all you need is a cute character, a fun sentiment, and a few coordinating colors to create a winning card!

Good morning & welcome back to the LDRS Inspiration Blog.  Today we are creating a Thank You card using the Butterfly Eclipse Dies, About THANKS Collage stamps, and the Hand Torn Rectangle Dies.  I've chose a purple theme for this card, so my main ink is Parisian Purple, but I've also used Raven ink for my sentiment.

I started with the outer Butterfly die and a light purple piece of A2 cardstock.  I used the outer butterfly die to help with layout of my stamped images.  This die set can be used as two individual dies or used together.  

I stamped all the images in Parisian purple, which pops against this card stock.  I then die cut the Butterfly image using both of the dies together.  Be sure to keep all the die cut pieces in place as much as possible.  I used a piece of press & seal to hold them in place, while I put a small line of glue on the back of the little inset pieces.  You can then turn it over onto the darker cardstock and press in place.  This glues all the little pieces perfectly in place, but allows you to remove the outer butterfly image.

I put small, thin foam adhesive on the back of the outer butterfly image to give the butterfly a little dimension, while still allowing you to read all the stamped sentiments.   Next, I die cut the darker purple card panel using the Hand torn rectangle die.

I applied foam tape to the back of the card panel and adhered it on a light purple card base.  Again, this adds a little more dimension & interest to a relatively simple card.  I stamped the sentiment in Raven ink, prior to adhering the card panel.

To finish off the card, I added a few scattered rhinestones for a little sparkle.  It would have been cute to make antennae with the rhinestones as well.  You can see the sentiments are still easy to read, even though I used foam adhesive.  It allows the dark purple to peek through as you turn the card, which adds an interesting element.

So this card came together so quickly that it would be really easy to mass produce it. I began with a piece of cream cardstock that I cut down, scored and folded into an A2 card base, then set it aside. 

Next I trimmed one of the gorgeous patterned paper from the Autumn Tails Paper Pack down to 5 by 4 inches and adhered it onto the card base. Then I cut the Inverted Corner Rectangle Eclipse Die 4 times from cream card stock and stacked them together with liquid glue. I backed the stacked diecut onto a solid layer cut from the same color cardstock and added it to the centre of my card base. 

For the main image on the card, I stamped an adorable bunny from the Autumn Tails Stamp Set in Raven Ink and colored it in with some alchohol markers> Then cut it out with the co-ordinating die set.

For her cute little outfit, I stamped her again onto some more of the Autumn Tails patterned paper and cut out her dress, then paper pieced it onto the image I'd previously colored. I added a little more detail to the trim, neck scarf and leggings of her clothes with more alcohol markers. Once finished a added her to the bottom left corner of the Inverted Corner Rectangle Eclipse die that I'd already placed on the card front.

To finish off I cut the sentiment "Warmest Wishes" from the Elegant Sentiment Die Set 3 times from cream card stock and once from mirror gold, stacked them together and added them to the card base with more liquid glue. The final touch was a few gold pearls from my stash that I scattered above and below the sentiment.

I just love the simplicity of this card and I think I demonstrated another way to use the fantastic eclipse dies.

To create the postage collage panel, I started by blending the mini scenes with the Get Well Soon Postage Collage Layering Stencils. I love how easy the stencils make it to build depth and color while still keeping each little postage section soft and cohesive. After the ink blending was finished, I used the coordinating stamps to add postage marks and tiny icons across the design. Those extra stamped details really help bring the whole collage theme to life!

Once the panel was complete, I used the Postage Collage Layering Dies to cut everything out. Instead of keeping the traditional rectangular layout, I decided to trim away the bottom portion of the panel to create a square card design. I love how this simple change gives the finished project a fresh look while still highlighting all of the sweet little postage scenes.

To start, I stamped the Post Card image on some Neenah Solar White Card stock with Raven Hybrid ink.  To achieve a cute scene for my little guy (without the added bulk), I used the Rainy Day Stencil with Key Lime Pie Hybrid ink.  

The next step is to stamp the images using the Fuzzy Wuzzies Under Construction Stamp Set with the following inks, i.e.,  Stone-Washed, Raven, Dan-D-Lion, In Your Face Orange, and Winter Dove.  

Dressing up the little furball was so much fun using the Fuzzy Wuzzies Under Construction Die Set.

I finished the design by stamping some stars and a few other details using the Tracks & Treads with the Tracks & Treads II stamp set.  The versatility of these little 4x4 stamp sets will take your card-making to a whole different level!  Here's another look:

I started cutting a 5,5"x4,25" panel from a blush cardstock and I used the "Fresh Cut Daisies" layering stencils to create a background using different water reactive inks.

I darkened edges with a soft pink ink and I splattered with white and gold acrylic paints.

I then cut a piece of white cardstock with a deckle trimmer and I heat embossed in gold the big THANKS from the "About Thanks Collage" stamp set.

I stamped some daisies and leaves from the "Fresh Cut Daisies" stamp set, I colored them with alcohol markers and I cut them with coordinating dies.

I put everything together with a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and that's all.

The application of the Aqua Ink Transfers, kinda reminds me of the tattoo's I used to apply to my arms as a child as they need water to adhere. They are so easy to use and there full instructions on the packaging. The instructions suggest using watercolor cardstock but I went a little rogue and experimented with a piece of pale pink cardstock from my stash. 

I cut the cardstock down to A2 sized, and cut out my chosen aqua ink image from the sheet. Then I removed the clear acetate layer to expose the transfer and pressed it pretty side down onto the pink cardstock. Be careful not to touch the transfer as you do this because you might damage your image.

Then using a spray bottle, I sprayed water onto the back of the transfer and let it sit for a few minutes. Make sure you don't over saturate your image if, like me your using regular cardstock. This avoids excessive warping of your paper. 

Once the water had had engough time to penetrate the paper I gently removed the transfer backing to reveal the most beautiful floral image. Then I set it aside to dry.

Next I trimmed a white A2 card panel down to 5 x 3 3/4 inches and die cut the outer butterfly image from the centre, creating a window. Then using a large blending brush, I lightly ink blended some of the new ink colour Silken Tulip to the edge and inner edge of the window. This helps to define the edges. I also added some black splatter with some acrylic paint. 

When the splatter was dry I added an acetate sheet to the back of the window panel with double sided tape then created a shaker well with foam tape. I filled the shaker well with clear sequins and added, the now dry aqua ink panel to the back to seal in the shaker bits. Then cut off the excess off the backing panel.

The shaker panel was adhered to the centre of a white A2 card base. I also added the sentiment "Celebrate" to the card front that I cut from silver cardstock that was stacked up onto 2 additional white layers. To finish, I decided to keept the embelishments simple by adding a few more clear sequins, and there you go a fun shaker card using the new Aqua Ink Transfers.

I highly recommend trying this out for yourself.

Today, I am sharing with you a cute "Prehistoric Pals" card. I really wanted to bring back and showcase some of my older LDRS sets by mixing them with products from the postage collection. You can really give a new life to your stamps by pairing them with more recent LDRS products!

Now, it's time to go digging through your LDRS stash! Or, if you missed these cuties the first time around, they’d make the perfect new addition to your collection!

First, I used the main die from the Postage Collage Dies on marker-friendly cardstock. I masked the borders of each stamp. You can use the Postage Collage Mask Stencils or pieces of copy paper.

After that, I stamped my images from the Baby Dino Stamps, Cave Kiddos Stamps, and Cave Dwellings Stamps with my Raven inkpad.

I used my guillotine to detach the various stamps.

I colored the scenes with my alcohol markers.

After that, I used the biggest die from the Nested Postage Collage Dies onto grey cardstock and I stamped my Distress Background Stamp on it with grey ink.

Finally, I glued my stamps on the base of my card !

I started with two A2 panels of smooth white cardstock. On one I ink blended with the brand new Stone Washed Jeans and Lilac Whisper hybrid inks for an ombre effect. Next I used an acrylic block and the largest daisy stamp from the Fresh Cut Daisies Stamp Set and created a pretty background with Lilac Whisper Ink. Then I trimmed both panels down to 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"

Then using the shadow layers from the You Are Timeless Die set I created a window in the centre of the floral background panel.  I adhered this onto the ink blended panel with foam tape. I cut the word times from white cardstock 3 times and stacked them togeather with liquid glue. Then glued them into the windows I'd created earlier.

I cut the largest of the Postage Rectanges from the Mixed Postage Rectangle Dies from light purple cardstock and adhered the main panel with liquid glue, than attached it to the front of an A2 cardbase. I finished the card of with some pale purple pearls from my stash.

Such a quick and easy card that is truely timeless.

Good morning and welcome back to the inspiration blog.  Today I am working with the Butterfly Eclipse Dies, which are stunning and so versatile.  Let me show how I put this card together!

I started with an A2, white card panel and cut it down by 1/4" on each side.  I then adhered one of the Valentina Aquaink Transfer Sheets to the center of the card panel.  If you haven't worked with these Aquaink products yet, you need to try them.  They are DIVINE!!!  And so beautiful!  So easy to use and each pack comes with 5 designs and 2 copies of each design.  Just wet and set aside and the transfer is magic.  

Once the card panel was dry, which just takes a few minutes, I die cut the Butterfly from the center using both dies.   Be sure to try and keep all the pieces within the butterfly for the next step!

I added liquid glue to the back of the white card panel that now has the hole in the middle and centered it on the burgundy, A2 card panel.  I then flipped the butterfly over and added a thin line of liquid glue to each of the cut outs on the wings of the butterfly.  I centered that within the butterfly shaped opening of the white card panel and punched out each of the cutouts so they were left behind when I lifted the butterfly from the card panel.  At this point you should have the white card stock outline and just the cutout lines in the middle.

To finish, I added foam adhesive to the back of the butterfly and centered it over the opening to adhere with dimension.  You can then see the flower design of the Aqualink sheets, but you also see the butterfly.

The sentiment is from the About THANKS Collage Stamp Set, which I stamped in Olive Branch hybrid ink on cream card stock.  I added a few enamel dots in a coordinating olive color for a little shine.

I am really in love with these Aquaink Transfer Sheets.  The finish and texture they add to a card is beautiful.

I started by die-cutting all the components that I needed to create the scene using the Home Design Foliage Add-On Die Set and the  Mixed Scallop Rectangle Die Set.

The little scallop rectangle die-cuts were easy to ink blend with the new Gelato 4-Color Bundle, Pink Tutu Hybrid ink, and the Rainy Day Stencil.  I absolutely LOVE the new hybrid ink colors!  

The scallop rectangles and the negative die-cut were foam-mounted onto an A2-size card base to give dimension.

Next, I stamped the little fuzzy dog using the Fuzzy Wuzzies Cone of Shame Stamp Set + Dies and the Cottage Way 4 Color Ink Bundle.  [For reference, the colors I used on the dog were CaraMellow, Milk Chocolate, and Stone Washed Jeans.]  I fussy-cut the dog using precision snips and foam-mounted it on the card. 

I finished the card design by stamping the sentiment on a yellow strip using the Everyday Vertical Sentiments Stamp Set.  Here's another look at the finished card:

I started by choosing 2 patterned papers  from an older, and sadly now retired paper pack from LDRS Creative. One in teal the other in orange tones. However, its not essential to have this paper pack to re-create my card design. The papers I chose had an ink smooshed kind of image, which is so easy to do at home for yourself. All you need is some water reactive ink, watercolor paper and water. 

Next I took the main floral images from the Fresh Cut Daisies Stamp Set and stamped them 3 times in Raven ink. Then using 2 shades of teal/orange ink and stamped  images from the Fresh Cut Daisies and Texturize It Collage Stamp Sets, to add texture and interest to my backgrounds. I just added the stamps to acrylic blocks and stamped them randomly. I didn't even worry if I got a perfect impression. In fact it's sometimes better if you don't because it just adds to the abstract, grungy look!

I finished the backgrounds by adding some black splatter with acrylic paint and set them aside to dry.

For the sentiment I die cut the words Best Wishes from black cardstock 3 times and stacked them together with liquid glue. Then added the stacked sentiment to a white shadow layer. 

When the splatter was dry, I die cut the backgrounds with one of the Hand Torn Rectangle dies and added it to a card base in coordinating colors with foam tape.

I think the hand torn edge adds a bit more whimsy and playfullness into the overall card design.

The sentiments were added to the focal area of the backgrounds with more foam tape. I also adhered a few black heart embelishments from my stash which finished off these cards perfectly!

I just love how quickly these cards came together! It's so freeing to let loose when creating these fun collage designs. There really is no right or wrong way when creating in this fun and abstract way. Why not give it a try yourself!

Today, I am sharing with you a pretty floral card I made mixing products from the new No Bounds Collection and older ones.

I love how older and new LDRS products always coordinate so well together !

-Joyful Blooms 4x6 Stamps, Coordinating Dies and Layering Stencils (Bundle)

First, I stamped my Joyful Blooms Stamps onto white cardstock with pink ink. Then, I used the Layering Stencils with yellow, orange and green inks. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them.

I wanted a slimmer bouquet, so I fussy cut the upper part of the flowers.

I stamped my sentiment from the Everyday Vertical Sentiments Stamps on a stripe of white cardstock with the same pink ink I used to stamp my flowers.

I used the two dies from the Inverted Corner Square Eclipse Dies on white cardstock.

I also cut a 4" (10.2 cm) torn square with one of my Hand Torn Squares Dies on white cardstock. I splattered yellow, orange, and pink ink on it with a brush and water.

Finally, I put foam stripes behind my frame and glued it on the torn square.

I put foam behind my sentiment stripe and glued it on the frame.

I also glued my flowers on the card.

Et voilà !
