Djs, Producers and label managers, the french and dynamic duo ” Get a Room!” was formed by Aurélien Haaas (Rove Dogs) and Jeff Lasson. With the idea of sharing their true love for sound research, they decided to open this small time cuts blog, followed by loads of music lovers browsing for some rare grooves or a good mixtape in phase with the instant vibe.
Small time cuts is still releasing vinyl for the spirit of the wax.
With an artwork designed and numbered by Trevor Jackson (Playgroup-Output), the powerful re-edits of get a room!, made with heavy drum machines and analog synths ,are hailed by James Murphy, Ivan Smagghe, Busy P…
After procucing their first remix for Tigersushi records, Get a room! is releasing an exclusive cd compilation of re-edits for Colette, “Dig out your spade” ( 27 May 2011). The get a room! debut album is announced for 2012.
