Le marché du haut débit français poursuit sa concentration. Après l’annonce, hier, de l’entrée de Free en « négociations exclusives » avec Telecom Italia en vue du rachat de sa filiale française Alice, le paysage des fournisseurs d’accès à Internet via le téléphone (ADSL, 90 % du marché) se réduira bientôt à trois acteurs français.

Pourquoi Free met-il 800 millions d’euros pour racheter les 940 000 abonnés d’Alice ? Longtemps premier opérateur alternatif français, derrière le leader historique Orange, le plus technophile des fournisseurs d’accès à Internet ne pouvait plus laisser la concentration se faire sans lui. Il risquait d’être marginalisé. Après le rachat de Club Internet par son rival Neuf Cegetel, ce pionnier s’était vu ravir, l’an dernier, la place de numéro 2 français qu’il va récupérer. Confronté au ralentissement du marché du haut débit grand public, Free ne pouvait plus miser seulement sur l’innovation et la croissance de ses abonnés pour garder son rang. En élargissant sa base d’abonnés (4 millions, soit 29 % de part de marché pour le nouvel ensemble), Free pourra mieux rentabiliser ses investissements dans la fibre optique et la téléphonie via le quatrième réseau mobile auquel il est candidat.

Pourquoi n’y a-t-il plus d’opérateurs étrangers en France ? Avec le retrait du marché de Telecom Italia, lourdement endetté, c’en est fini des incursions étrangères sur le très concurrentiel marché français. En revendant Club Internet à Neuf Cegetel, T-Online, filiale de l’allemand Deutsche Telekom avait déjà jeté l’éponge l’an dernier. Arrivés trop tard dans l’Hexagone, ces opérateurs ont trop peu investi pour percer et n’ont pas réussi à s’imposer face aux « nationaux », comme Free et Neuf. A l’inverse, Orange a acquis des positions de premier plan dans divers pays, tout comme Vivendi à travers Maroc Telecom.

Cette concentration va-t-elle nuire à la concurrence ? « A chaque fois qu’il y a réduction des acteurs, les prix augmentent et la qualité baisse », met en garde Edouard Barreiro, d’UFC-Que choisir. D’où sa crainte « que se reproduise sur le secteur internet, ce qui se passe dans la téléphonie mobile avec des prix excessifs ». Plus concurrentiel que dans le reste de l’Europe grâce au cadre mis en place par l’Arcep, le gendarme français des télécoms, le dynamisme du marché ne devrait pas en pâtir, assure-t-on chez Free. « Nous allons continuer à innover, c’est le cœur de notre ADN », explique Thomas Reynaud, directeur financier de Free.

Suite au départ en recyclage PSG de Charles Villeneuve, Nonce Paolini continue son nettoyage de printemps. Maintenant c'est PPDA qui est sur le point de dégager. Laurence Ferrari a déjà annoncé qu'elle acceptait la relève en septembre. Le tout sous couvert de l'Elysée parait-il.

Un salarié de moins à TF1, qu'est-ce que ça fait ? Ca fait un de plus aux Prudhommes. Pour avoir du respect pour le journaliste, et à l'heure de I-Télé, BFM TV et des infos disponibles en live sur le net, la mise à terre du pilier de l'info TV et de la grande messe quotidienne est-elle en soi un événement ?

Je ne le crois pas, et franchement on s'en fout un peu. Sa présentation debout la semaine dernière a fait couler de l'encre. Voilà où on en est. Je trouve ça lassant.

Ceci dit mon intérêt pour les médias étant ce qu'il est, je continue à m'informer de cette actu là. Mais la quantité d'infos désolantes tend à grossir de façon trop importante. C'est dommage.

Et puis vous allez voir : PPDA va débarquer sur France 2 à la rentrée ....

A la façon du blog de Jean-Marc Morandini, j'ai choisi moi aussi de vous parler des nouveautés du blog. Les trois personnes que vous êtes (au pic des visites semi semestriel) vont donc pouvoir s'émerveiller devant les nouveautés suivantes.

Grâce à la technologie Google, qui est le moteur de Blogger, qui héberge votre serviteur que vous lisez actuellement, et suite au constat qu'une vidéo imposant un cul déplacé était de mise sur la page d'accueil en permanence depuis plusieurs mois, j'ai modifié les aspects suivants.

1° J'ai modifié ma présentation. C'est sûr que vous en savez beaucoup plus. Ca ne rend pas mégalo du tout de tenir un blog ....

2° Les vidéos s'adaptent au contenu des articles. Le cul omniprésent était associé au tag "Secret Story", qui va de toutes façons recommencer bientôt ... Un an déjà ! J'ai donc supprimé ce tag, et donc ce cul à l'antenne. Mais le nouveau mot clé "Natation" n'a pas encore l'air de porter ses fruits. J'ai donc mis les vidéos en bas de page, là où personne ne va.

3° J'ai rajouté des actualités réelles faites par des gens sérieux : Libé, Le Monde, etc ... bref des choses qu'on ne sait pas où trouver ailleurs. Et en live : je ne retiens sur ma page que les articles les plus récents.

4° J'ai viré des fonctions qui ne servent à rien. Puisqu'elles ne sont plus là, inutile de les évoquer.

Voilà, j'espère que vous aimerez.

Maintenant ma journée de travail est terminée et je vais pouvoir rentrer chez moi m'occuper de ma petite famille.

Piscine, rugbymen et autres incivilités courantes

Décidément c'est n'importe quoi ce blog ! Des articles sur Bayrou, de l'anti sarkosysme primaire ... A peine orienté tout ça. Surtout que j'ai été très déçu de Bayrou depuis l'an dernier. Et l'ouverture opportuniste engagée par Sarko ne me rassure pas outre mesure du bien fondé de la démarche, mis en regard des tactiques politiciennes. Seul Attali a su tirer profit de la manoeuvre en annonçant en grandes pompes des mesures impossibles à mettre en oeuvre.

Bref on reparlera de politique dans un petit moment, après la coupe d'Europe de foot par exemple.

Donc je vais supprimer des labels sur la politique, pour en ajouter un sur le sport, qui fait un peu plus partie de ma préoccupation quotidienne.

Ma mission de consulting touchant à sa fin, enfin, et bien que ce soit interdit, je peux réalimenter le blog avec des choses pertinentes.

Prenez la piscine par exemple. Celle du Plessis est située dans une zone d'activité plutôt froide, isolée et peu engageante. Pourtant, à 3,90€ l'entrée (hors résident du Plessis), on trouve entre midi et deux des cadres qui travaillent dans le coin, et viennent pour améliorer leur dos. Et aujourd'hui on trouvait aussi, pour leur cours d'aquagym, les joueurs du Stade français. La piscine de Boulogne devait leur être impossible, pourtant plus proche de la porte de St Cloud. Ils se sont donc rabattus dans le petit bassin de 1,35 de profondeur du Plessis, proche Clamart. Comme quoi même les stars du rugby se rabattent sur ce qu'ils peuvent trouver dans leur emploi du temps comme disponibilité.

C'est qu'il y a encore des rencontres pour le bouclier à gagner ... Cela n'et pas passé inaperçu, les nageurs du midi se prêtant au jeu de "je sais qui c'est celui-là", de façon très peu discrète. Discrétion de plus loupée de par le photographe qui les suivait.

A cela s'ajoute le bilou des lignes d'eau, celui qui ne lit pas le panneau, qui est pourtant clair : "Nagez à droite". Car le bilou de la javel n'a pas compris cela. Le bilou de la javel nage le crawl, ce qui le fait aller environ deux fois et demi plus vite que moi, ce qui n'est pas un exploit. De plus il porte des palmes, donc pas de quoi s'ennorgueillir de ses exploits.

Longueur n° 37 (je compte mes longueurs, je sais ça peut paraitre ridicule). C'est mon orteil gauche de pied qui m'a donné l'alerte : un nageur grande vitesse s'apprête à me dépasser. Malgré la buée sur mes lunettes, je peux a peine voir que devant une baleine avec une planche arrivait en sens inverse. Dilemne : comment va faire le bilou ?

Réponse : il s'impose et file droit en creusant une troisième ligne au milieu de la ligne déjà étroite. A cela s'ajoute les éclats d'eau et les coups à son passage. Si tu te reconnais, je te maudis.

Longueur n° 41 : je le retrouve de nouveau derrière moi. Cette fois-ci, en me convainquant que je dois m'imposer aussi malgré ma faible inertie liquide, j'arme le coup de pied, et à la prochaine brasse (je nage la brasse, j'ai oublié de le préciser), je le butte. J'ai senti un coup sur je pense une main ou un poignet, mais surtout ne pas s'arrêter. Le bilou avait entrepris sa tentative de dépassement sans visibilité de nouveau, lui non plus ne s'arrête pas.

Pour les longueurs restantes, je me suis finalement résigné, mais je n'ai pas pour autant cédé. D'ailleurs au final, j'ai bien nagé, fier de moi. J'ai même nagé plus vite que d'habitude, la stimulation sans doute .... Satisfaction renforcée par le fait qu'à la longueur 68 (l'avant dernière), le bilou a fait relaxe en passant à la brasse, et telle ne fut pas ma surprise à me voir le rattraper. A la dernière longueur il était sur le dos : je l'ai dépassé moi aussi. Ultime revanche !

C'est là que la sirène a retenti pour annoncer la fermeture. Juste le temps de se rhabiller, et déjeuner pour retourner à ce qu'on peut appeler le travail. Et de constater que les rugbymen sont gentlemen puisqu'ils n'ont finalement pas utilisé le grand bassin, pour laisser les honnêtes citoyens qui les supportent nager tranquillement.

Même si, parce que les moteurs diesel restent quand même plus économes que leurs alter ego essence, le coût de revient kilométrique reste avantageux pour les gros rouleurs, le phénomène inverse va bon train.

Le litre de super s'échange à 1,60€, la barre des 2€ s'approche dangereusement, et un plein d'une voiture moyenne diesel coûte désormais 70 euros.

A lire dans l'actualité ces trois articles plutôt pessimistes sur l'avenir, en attendant les énergies de substitution (électrique, hydrogène ...) qui tardent à pointer le bout de leur nez.

Ce blog a la paticularité suivante, et contraire à tout bon blog qui se respecte : il continue de vivre même s'il n'est plus alimenté. Certes depuis plusieurs mois la fréquentation a fait une chute vertigineuse sans parachute, mais il est toujours là.

La faute à une activité personnelle plus prenante, et donc moins de temps pour les choses cruciales.

Alors pour reprendre en bonne forme, commençons par un coup de gueule, purement gratuit. Ca se passe sur Canal le soir, et c'est vraiment énervant de voir les vacances payées des chroniqueurs du "Grand journal" de Denisot.

Cette émission est vide, même si les stars viennent se montrer. Les questions des chroniqueurs (payés chers en plus) sans intérêt, et le tout qui suit un fil rouge qui n'est pas sans rappeler le défunt NPA, dont Canal n'a jamais pu se remettre.

C'est une pâle copie, dénuée d'intérêt.

Bref voilà. Et ce n'est qu'un début.
