The next big thing… qu’ils disent…  qui vivra verra mais le beat est juste à tomber et son flow n’a rien à envier à une Minaj qui pour moi est au dessus du lot en ce moment.

Sales of relaxer kits dropped by 17% between 2006 and 2011, according to Mintel.

I’m not going to lie, your checked luggage takes a beating. They call it « throwing bags » for a reason. There isn’t an easy way around this. Airplanes only make money while in the air, and no airline wants an airplane on the ground too long. Due to the nature of some aircraft, it would be impossible to turn around a 737 or 757 in an hour or less without throwing bags because it’s just faster. On these planes, there are only two long and narrow cargo holds where your luggage goes.

One agent puts the bags on the belt loader, which carries it up to an agent inside the cargo hold who throws it 50 feet to the back where another agent stacks all the bags as if it were a game of Tetris. Wheels and handles oftentimes break or crack on impact, and anything fragile inside that is not packed well doesn’t stand much of a chance. Don’t put red wine or alcohol in your suitcase ever. I would never check any fragile items in a soft sided suitcase, unless it was professionally packaged. Those fragile stickers don’t get noticed very often in the rush of loading bags unless it is an obvious shape, such as a musical instrument. I am a musician so I take special care of those, but not everyone is a musician.

Bags can also get damaged by loose ends getting caught in the belt, which can tear off straps, zippers or handles. Handles also break off if the bag is extremely heavy when we try to pick it up by the handle. One good thing about the larger aircraft (747, 767, 777, 787, etc.) is that they are all loaded by machines. Your bags are just put in a can and that can is loaded on the plane by machine so there is no bag throwing. Theoretically there’s a better chance of your bag coming out unscathed if you fly on one of those jets.

Vous ai-je déjà dit que cet arc était à ranger dans la catégorie « tuerie » ?

Incroyable. Ce numéro-là en particulier est… incroyable. 12 pages phénoménales. C’est difficile d’écrire que le travail de J.H. Williams III se bonifie au fur et à mesure qu’on avance dans l’intrigue (et quelle intrigue !) tant la barre semblait déjà placée très très haut. On se surprend à revenir sur certaines planches – pour leur composition, les détails, les couleurs mais surtout cette façon si particulière d’influer du dynamisme via la découpe de la scène – et à chercher un témoin avec qui partager le génie qui s’en dégage. Bref. Du grand art. Du. Grand. Art.

« Batwoman » has been a top-notch title since its debut, but with this latest issue everything has come together. Williams and Blackman have shown this to not just be a great comic at DC, but the best one at the company. Has « Batwoman » been worth the wait? Oh yes, definitely.

Ce numéro se termine sur Bones disant: « … There’s no way I’m missing what comes next ». Je peux vous dire qu’il n’est pas le seul !

Ah. J’allais oublier. A mon sens, les scènes entre Kate et Maggie au lit sont un indicateur de plus (si besoin était) de la « sincérité » des auteurs vis-à-vis de leur personnage. Je décode ? Sa sexualité n’est vraisemblablement pas un coup de pub vu qu’ils n’ont pas versé dans le voyeurisme mais opté plutôt pour une sensualité (le dessin crayonné et laissé tel quel – bien qu’incorporé dans une autre scène en couleurs – est magnifique) empreinte de pudeur qui leur vaudra la reconnaissance et le soutien éternel de tous leurs fans LGBT moi la première.

Toujours cette impression que Fincher ne sait pas à quoi il s’attaque…

Weird. Je crois que c’est la première fois que j’ai un a priori aussi négatif sur un film.

De toutes les façons nous n’allons pas tarder à être fixés et j’espère être la première à m’incliner bien bas (encore une fois) devant son génie ou sinon je risque de l’avoir vraiment mauvaise !
