Hi everyone,

It feels good sometimes to draw while listening to some good country music. Here is a little drawing that shall only be viewed while listening to "courtesy of the white, red and blue" ;)
America chose change and Obama is our new president. Let's hope for the best and godspeed to America during those troubled times (I am paid in dollars so it better stay strong).

Thought it might help with the crisis.

Hi Folks,

I finally moved to the city (NorthBeach even if some people are saying that I live on Russian Hill). I can see Alcatraz from my house.

Anyway. All that to say that I have a lot more free time now and that this blog is likely to get some more frequent uploads again.

Bon apres un grande periode d'incativite du blog voila un petit dessin de plus. Comme je regardais Appleseed Ex Machina ce soir tout en dessinant sur Photoshop il en est sorti ca. Une sorte de land-armor templier.
J'espere que ca vous plait ;) parce que j'ai beaucoup de mal a dessiner avec mes doigts en ce moment.

Hey Guys !
I am currently reading a cool book and it makes me want to draw a lot of things.
So here it is, a drawing inspired from "La Horde du Contrevent" a novel where a team tries to walk against the wind to reach the origin of the world.

"Here the Herd is countering the wind in a delta formation to protect the aeromaster that is going to anchor a rope in the ground. By anchoring itself, the herd is likely to stay together and survive the storm"

A little drawing related to one of my new hobbies, playing baseball in one of those cages where the machine throws ball at you. It so much more fun than minigolf and at least my girlfriend doesn't beat me at it ;) Here is my vision of what softball is gonna be like in 40 years. So just imagine what baseball is like !

Hey guys, I am very busy right now with a lot of projects going on (finishing the website of MarcoPolo.net and starting a new computer game project with Oscar, lets try to make it better than Space Conquest Deathmatch :P). Basically, I don't have a lot of time to make drawing for the blog. So as long as I don't like the last post that much (I have the feeling that the small picture is ruining the global layout of the blog and sometimes I wake up at night after having nightmares about it. Anyway, this is unbearable) I wanted to post something else on top of the blog: Here it is !

Salut les loulous, je fais un passage eclair pour deposer un petit Os a ronger sur le blog. En ce moment je suis en train de refaire la skin d'un site web (c'est un projet). En tout cas ca m'amuse bien et ca me permet a la fois de me perfectionner en Photoshop (tout ce qui est effet de calque) et en meme temps de me faire une vitrine de mes capacites en Packaging/Marketing.

Vous allez me dire, ou sont les deux pompiers, je vous repondrai par un silence des plus genants. Plus serieusement et suite a cette escapade humorisante et euphoristique voila une idee du dessin a venir. Je parlais de reparer des pipelines dans mon post precedent et voila l'idee qui est venue. On va voir ce que ca donne au coloriage comme dit Djosty ! Et vous aurez enfin droit au commentaire croustillant qui accompagnera cette image :p

Pour ceux que ca interesse, en ce moment la Californie et bien ca oscille entre le beau fixe et le vraiment tres moche. C'est un peu comme mon niveau en golf hier !

Alors oui, comme ca ils nous mettent des scaphandriers avec les pieds au sec. Je me permets donc de le renvoyer where it belongs, au fond de l'ocean a reparer des pipelines. Je suis assez content de la coloration (chose rare) car j'ai l'impression que je n'ai pas completement pourri mon dessin ;)

Bioshock

A little fan art for the launch of the game "Bioshock". I don't know who is the main designer on this game but I love the work he/they did on the character design. The universe is also very powerfull, halfway between "Alice in Wonderland" and "Fallout".

I just scanned the drawing before doing the shading so you might soon get an other version of it done on Photoshop but with colors this time.

Un beau nom ca dis donc ! Comme je n'ai pas le temps de dessiner en ce moment, je vous ressors de l'ancien. Un des nombreux dessins de recherche sur LE projet de BD qui m'a toujours tenu en haleine. En relisant le scenario que j'avais ecrit en terminale (revu et corrige en prepa), je trouve que c'est passablement influence par Dune, la Bible (non c'est pas vrai en fait) ainsi que d'autres oeuvres de science fiction. En meme temps ne sommes nous pas le produit de notre vecu et de nos experiences ? (Si apres avoir lance une phrase aussi profonde personne ne poste de commentaire, je vais etre vexe !)

PS : Non d'un petit bonhomme, encore un dos de photocopie ! Eh oui, roulez en hybride et construisez des eoliennes les enfants. Des centrales nucleaires aussi, mais plus de CHARBON ni de FIOUL !

The other day, I received a mail from a mysterious women (my mum) with this drawing attached ! That's where the name of the current blog is from. At the time I wanted to create a video game or animated movie studio, so everything was ready ! I had the name, I just lacked the studio itself. Just remember the name so that you will recognize it in a couple years when it will be famous ;)

PS : Using a magical-wizard-like-one-eyed-gobelin as the symbol of the company was probably a desperate attempt to reach the broadest base of customers possible (actually it was not, this is just a drawing).

I have to keep trying new styles with my tablet because on many different aspects I feel very limited. It is probably possible to feel much better by buying a A4 tablet but I don't want to put that much money in a new one (I would prefer to buy a new car).

So here is the result, I am pretty happy with it and I hope you like it too. Quick and fun to draw ! Gosh, I wish I was a fashion designer... but I am not ;)

La derniere page... Non, vous ne revez pas, la voila enfin, le denouement tant attendu est a portee de vos petits yeux bouffis d'impatience. Sur ce, je vous laisse vous delecter de cette perle rare de la BD francaise (meme si on sent qu'a l'epoque j'avais un peu bacle la fin de la coloration).

On sent aussi que je revenais de l'armee a l'epoque et que mon orthographe en avait pris un coup.

Uniquement parce il y avait Tomb Raider a la tele hier soir. Enfin on a pas regarde ca (quand meme !) mais le DVD de "Children of Men" qui dechire au niveau de la realistion !
