Here's the new one from my cake collections ;) Hokkaido Cake.. A soft, fluffy, and light vanilla cake filled with vanilla pastry cream..

The original one comes with vanilla cream..

The cake together with the cream will melt into your mouth.. It's nice to enjoy right away from refrigerator..

Another rainbow in my kitchen ;) hehe.. Natural Rainbow, yup it all made using natural ingredients with no food coloring..

Black sesame, taro, spinach, egg, carrot, and beetroot with cream cheese frosting..

Although the colors is not too bright and colorful like the usual Rainbow Cake, but the texture of this cake is more moist..

But once again, it's depend on your own taste. So which one do you prefer? ;)

Finally I've convinced myself to bake a Red Velvet Cake.. Yaa this red colored cake has become popular lately..

Covered with luscious vanilla cream cheese and sprinkled with sugary roasted peanut all over the cake..

Made out of beetroot, the cake is quite dramatic with its bright color combined with a creamy white vanilla cream cheese.. It taste rich and delicious.. ;)

More macaronssss... As I said I will experience more flavors of it..

Black macaroons.. The black color comes from a dash of natural bamboo charcoal..

My macs got feet.. yeayy..

It filled with vanilla cream cheese.. Trust me it goes well with it..

Pack of 5 Black Cream Cheese Macarons..

Yellow mac shells for Lemony Macarons..

It filled with lemon butter made from lemon curd... It's sweets and refreshing..

Combined with a dollop of chocolate ganache on it..

Soft pink shell for Rose Macarons..

To end the year of 2011, I just add three variations to my cupcake collections ;p.. Actually this is for my xmas hamper edition..

Firstly, one of my fave is Taro Cupcake, made from taro (talas) topped with crunchy coconut butter cream.. I have never made taro cupcake before, so I become very excited try something new..

I fill it with taro (talas) jam filling

Next is the Fruitcake Cupcake, just like a Xmas fruitcake made with mixed dried fruits and flavorful topped with cinnamon cream cheese..

Lots of fruit, nice and moist..

Last but not least, Banoffee Cupcake (Banana Toffee), a banana cake topped with toffee butter cream..

Moist and fragrant banana cake goes well with toffee butter cream..

Cookies.. Cookies.. Most people love munching cookies.. Here I try to bake a new version of cookies.. It tasted like an old time cookies but with modern twist..

Milo Stick Cookies.. Milo flavored butter cookies topped with chocochips..

Crunchy texture and sweet..

Brownie Stick Cookies.. Chocolate butter cookies sprinkled with crunchy rice crispy..

For you who like dark chocolate and has a mild sweet..

It's available in smaller packaging..

Sultana Cheese Stick Cookies.. This is my fave :p, I love raisin hehe.. Sultana/raisin butter cookies topped with cheese.. It's hard to stop munching it..

It's sweet with chewy raisin texture..

All cookies are made from premium ingredients and it brings a delicate flavor.. So far I've amde three variations of it and will try more new variation soon ;)

She asked me to make a cupcake set with a construction theme like her FIL's job.. As her request, there's a saw, house, and some tools..

A macarons is a new hip in desserts delicacies which everyone talking about them lately.. It's a sweet confectionery made from almond, filled with cream or jam sandwiched between two cookies.. They're sweet and delicate..

Macarons in the making.. For me making Macaron is quite painful, many failures before I get this right..

Yeay.. Finally they all got feet.. Macarons without the feet can't be a macarons..

Filled the orange shell macarons with chocolate ganache.. Nothing can go wrong with chocolate rite? ;p

This is the fun part of Macarons.. Experience it with various flavors and taste the difference This time I use a mixed of coffee and chocolate..

And paired with peanut cream filling..

They are colorful and eye-catching..

Although it's tricky to bake macarons, but I'm enjoying to bake it.. I can explore more shell flavors to combine with various cream fillings.. That's the fun part of baking the macarons..

Here's I got Mango Pancake.. A sweets cream with fresh mangoes and custard wrapped with thin crepes skin..

It's kinda a familiar desserts lately.. Most of it filled with durian flesh but I try using mango instead.. And still exploring to try other fruit options.. Any idea? Please tell me ;)

Red and Golden Velvet Whoopie Pies

Whoopie Pie.. Yup, I've made my own Whoopie Pie.. Some of you maybe familiar already with this sweet treats.. It's like a cake-like-biscuit or soft cookies sandwiched together with fluffy creamy filling..

I tried a heart shape instead of the usual round shape.. And since I make a red velvet one using the beetroot on it, I use the cream cheese for the filling..

The whoopie pie has a denser texture than a cupcake and less moist.. but they're still enjoyable to eat..

Where there is a Red Velvet, there is also a Golden Velvet ;p..

Made from pumpkin and filled with cream cheese cream.. Both the beetroot and pumpkin goes well with the creamy cheese filling..

So it's your choice whether a Red Velvet or Golden Velvet Whoopie Pies.. Both are delicate... And more flavor whoopie pies is coming up :)

This is the first time I've been asked to make 45 red velvet cupcakes for birthday.. Usually I made the birthday cupcake customized with fondant..

But this time Shannen's mom asked me to make the red velvet cupcakes, and if I decorated with whole fondant, there will be no cream cheese on it.. And what is the red velvet taste without the cream cheese? Cream cheese and red velvet really is really a good pair..

Swirl the cream cheese like a rose..

This is the first time I bake it and they turned up so lovely..

They're only one bite size.. Just pop it into your mouth, they're lot more fun to eat and delicious as the normal size cuppies..

Halloween Sunday Food Market @Potato Head

This is it guys, something that make me quite a busy lately.. Baking is my passion, I started with Cup-A-Cake which is specialized in made by order cupcakes for any occasion.. But since I discovered there's a lotsa cute and delicate sweets that I can share with you, I decide to go beyond the cupcakes.. So I changed the Cup-A-Cake with Le Sweets.. And this is the first Le Sweets' sales event..

Finally I took this opportunity to join a Halloween Sunday Food Market in Potato Head Pacific Place.. A big thank you for Potato head, it's such a great experiences and hoping can join to their another events ;)

What we have here.. The cuppies ;)

There's a Red Velvet Cupcakes made from beetroot, Golden Velvet Cupcake made from pumpkin, Chocolate Cupcakes topped with colorful sprinkles and jelly, and halloween cupcake..

What else.. what else.. I got this Ice Jelly Mochi, it got a unique mochi and jelly texture and nice when you eat it cold, that's why I call it ice ;p There's three kinds of filling; coffee red bean, green bean, and chocolate..

Next I got an assorted tartlets.. Japanese Cream Cheese Tart, available in two flavours chocolate cream cheese and original cream cheese topped with some fresh fruit cuts.. Sometimes I also made a green tea cream cheese by order ;)

Another tartlets like Fruit Tartlet, buttery tartlet shell coated with chocolate filled with custard and topped with fruits..

The other tartlet is Tarte au Chocolate, it's simply for a chocolate lover.. Buttery pie shell filled with chocolate ganache and fresh strawberry..

I also made some Eclairs, filled with vanilla cream.. And a square choux which I named Box of Love.. Actually it's the same like eclairs, the different is only in the shape and bigger sized and more filling on it..

Last but not least, I also have three kind of cookies here.. Snickerdoodle, butter cookies coated with cinnamon sugar.. It's crisp, sweet, and has buttery flavor.. Chocochips Cookies, everyone's favorite.. And Chocolate Cornflake, nothing can go wrong with chocolate rite? ;p

It's too many to prepare yaa.. But since it's my passion, I love doing it :) Here's how the preparations goes..

Three colors cupcakes.. Red (beetroot), golden yellow (pumpkin), and chocolate.. Which one do you prefer? :p

Filled the tart shells with creamy cheese filling.. Slluuurrpp..

Decorate it with some fresh fruits, crispy chocoballs, sliced almonds.. And it is done!

Next preparing the tartlets shell.. Unbaked tartlets..

Fresh from the oven, let it cool before put the filling on it..
