I asked Jesus to help figure out what to post about earlier and when I opened my bible now and looked down Proverbs 24:1 almost jumped at me.  It reads in the NIV, "do not envy wicked men, do not desire their company." Jesus says in Matthew 22:38-39, "this is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like unto it, Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself." If we are to be fishers of men we need to love our neighbor as we love ourselves.  Jesus didn't just mean literal neighbors, but I believe He meant everyone.  Think about how you would treat yourself in certain situations.

The amplified bible reads in Colossians 3:13, "as the Lord has [freely] forgiven you, so must also [forgive]."  Forgiveness is a free gift from God.  This is what Jesus was sent here to do, die on the cross so our sins can be forgiven.  Because our sins are forgiven, we can live in heaven with Him forever.  Even though God freely forgives sins, we must do two things.
