Thanks for the ridiculous claim Phreak... NOT

2011-05-17T04:48:00.000-04:00

OK so since Phreak claimed Shen was more carry viable, I've actually started playing with a few that start building AD items instead of tanking like they're supposed to. Why, oh why... why would you say that?!

Do you know what you've done, DO YOU?

Master Yi Guide Delivered

2011-05-14T14:11:00.000-04:00

In case you guys didn't notice yet, an AD version of Master Yi guide was published yesterday. You can find it under the Guides tab to your right; Pretty short, and should improve your gameplay with this high powered, still viable, carry.

Sorry that I've been out of touch, still in the middle of a move.

2011-05-13T13:19:00.000-04:00

Title pretty much sums it up. I know it's been a while, but I had to paint a freaking room (yeah, never doing that again), but somehow I still managed to finish a Master Yi guide for you guys, all I need to do is add the thumbnails to make it more understandable. So I'm back and pretty much active again. Expect the Master Yi guide in a few hours.

New PvP.net Patcher and Vayne Sneak Peek

2011-05-03T21:52:00.000-04:00

Updating to the new PvP.net patcher as we speak, it looks a lot more sleek now. :D Anyone else like it?

On a more important note, here's the a sneak peek of Vayne (if you can even call it that); she looks pretty cool and appears to be a ranged DPS; I could be totally off, but I mean... crossbow? Come on!

Her story at the moment makes her seem like a darker version of Caitlyn, wouldn't be surprised if she played similar too.

50% Skin Sale - (Olaf/Kog'Maw/Morgana)

2011-04-29T16:28:00.000-04:00

Yeah, just letting you know Riot has the Glacial Olaf, Sinful Succulence Morgana, and Monarch Kog'Maw for half price between May 3rd to the 6th. Normally I wouldn't care too much for skins, but you guys remember when you got free RP? The Olaf skin is really sweet, and at 50% it is only 260 RP, so if you saved your RP, it's basically a free skin. Cool, especially because Olaf is moderately a common pick. WOOT!

The link to the source.

There are a few pictures on their page so you can see how cool the skin looks. Ghostly, right?

All inclusive Warwick Jungling Guide

2011-04-28T09:19:00.000-04:00

It's on the right hand side under Guides. It also includes a lot of basic information considering how to jungle generally, and how to counter the jungler. Let me know what you guys think! Feel free to send it to noobs, it's like an 8 minute read and includes everything.

Okay now, I have to pack because I'm moving tomorrow, see ya around guys!

:D :D :D

Delays on the Guides

2011-04-27T03:05:00.000-04:00

So I wanted to publish my jungle Warwick guide, but it seems whenever I try to edit old pages, or try to publish a new one, my blogger 404's. Such bullcrap, didn't even know that was possible, I'll have to wait until it's fixed.

Riot's new champion Rumble, and his Champion Spotlight

2011-04-26T23:47:00.001-04:00

For those of you who play HoN as well, he seems very similar to the hero Chipper, and should be very easy to pick up. For those new to his style of skills, it might be a little harder. His ultimate obviously allows synergy with MANY other champions making him versatile. Also... that slow... wow

Cool beans, yes?

What do you think of the changes?

2011-04-26T07:46:00.000-04:00

Personally, I feel like Riot is making the champions more and more "do the same thing" types, except with some archetype involved. Either way, I do feel it balances the game more, despite losing some of the unique aspect that we're already accustomed to.

Fairly old news, but more interested in your current opinions.

Also, an art spotlight for Rumble, the up and coming new champion. Kind of boring, but has information none the less.

Stick to the regular champion spotlights. =_=

And finally, how did you guys spend your free RP?

I'm not dead guys, just been busy lately.

2011-04-26T06:34:00.002-04:00

Hey everyone, sorry I've been late with everything, and haven't been too active lately on the blogs. Attended an anime convention, and totally destroyed my right arm at the rave; it's honestly a really annoying and painful minor injury that hasn't gone away in over a week, but I'm back and not dead, and will continue where I left off. It probably wasn't a good idea, but getting claps is so motivating, it almost made it worth it! Almost... Among other things, I'm in the middle of a move also, so things will definitely speed up once I'm settled in. It's just good to be back, and be able to check out all the interesting blogs again ~wink~, and also just wanted to say thanks to all my loyal followers.

On the agenda is the Jungling Warwick guide I promised, (will be up by tomorrow morning) and hopefully I can also speedily release both an AD Master Yi guide, and an AP Master Yi guide too, and I mean soon.

Random Nostalgia: The Old AP Shaco

2011-04-14T21:09:00.001-04:00

Any oldies remember a time when playing Shaco meant getting 4-5, sometimes even more, kills in the first 10 minutes of the game?

This pretty much sums it up:

And for you newer players, yes, there was a time when THIS was supposed to be considered acceptable. Ever since the Shaco nerf; however, he is considered by many to be non-viable champion, or what you would say "Don't use him in ranked." Well, this might be somewhat true, but you have to admit, Shaco is one fun champ.

Update #3 Design Change

2011-04-14T12:54:00.000-04:00

Redesigned the page to make the actual posts easier to read, while not compromising the content. I know you all loved Professor Ryze, but hey, this is okay too, right?

Also check out the sale in post below, Riot has sales on champions rarely, but this batch of 3 has 2 viable champions, so if you have RP, get two 6300 heroes for the price of one.

Spare RP? Need Evelynn, Karthus, or Vladimir?

2011-04-14T11:17:00.000-04:00

April 15th to 18th, the actual champions Eve, Karthus, and Vlad themselves are half off, so pick up that Vladimir FFS!
487 RP to get that 6300 champion, I might pick up Karthus too. I wouldn't recommend buying the Eve though.

Champion Sale: 50% Off Evelynn, Karthus, and Vladimir

FYI, it starts tomorrow, k guys?

Attention Leaguers!

2011-04-13T19:29:00.000-04:00

Public Service Announcement here:

Brand is OP (overpowered) If you play AP and have extra IP or RP, pick him up for real, his ultimate can seriously kill the whole team in a team fight given they are close together, which most team fights are.

This is just how he is at the moment and will most likely be changed later; Riot has a habit of consistently nerfing and buffing every single patch, some are good, some make no sense at all.

I pose a question for my Leaguers today.

2011-04-13T11:49:00.000-04:00

WHO HAD TO WAIT IN THE "LOGIN QUEUE" OVER 30 MINUTES LAST NIGHT?

Oh, and sorry things have been slowing down a bit lately, but I will add more content as I publish it, which will be very soon.

New 5v5 Map in Season 2

2011-04-12T19:20:00.002-04:00

So yeah, there will actually be some changes in Season 2, good to hear.

2011-04-12T11:46:00.001-04:00

So what do you guys think of Brand, The Burning Vengeance?

Update #2 - Warwick next?

2011-04-11T17:43:00.002-04:00

I'm thinking about mixing it up by making a Jungle Warwick guide next. What do my followers think?

50% off Spectral Fiddlesticks, Stinger Akali, and Viscero Xin Zhao until April 15th

2011-04-11T07:39:00.000-04:00

Link

Personally, that Fiddlesticks skin is one of the best in my opinion.

Delivered.

2011-04-11T05:06:00.002-04:00

Special delivery... The Ryze Guide is here! You can find it under the Pages tab to your left.

Update #1

2011-04-10T10:16:00.000-04:00

Well I didn't get to finish the guide as I was under substance last night, but I have started it. Anyways, at the bottom left corner you can see links to Phreak's Champion Spotlights. This should make them easier to find all in one spot, and if you're a noob, it's essential to watch every single one of them. Go Go Go!

Next Guide

2011-04-09T08:11:00.002-04:00

It's going to be Ryze, should be up by tonight or tomorrow morning.

Any requests for the next champion guide?

2011-04-07T19:37:00.002-04:00

Well if you play the game, which champion would you want a guide for?

For those that don't know

2011-04-07T03:01:00.000-04:00

The guides are listed under the Pages tab on the left side of the screen.
That is all, hope that clears up some confusion. :)
