Twilight is a spine chilling love story that has four films which are called twilight new moon breaking dawn(part 1) breaking dawn(part 2).

When you watch the film you will love it! The books are very good as well the author's style of writing is amazing it will glue your hands too the book.

Twilight is an amazing film too watch and the book was new your times best seller, over all it is an wonderfull film/book and I reccomend it to everyone.

the roman conquest and settlement of britain began in AD43 although they did not assert cultural over what is now northen england until the AD70s. unrest among the brignates, the celtic tribe dominating the area, may have been the reason that agricola,the roman governor of britain , undertook a program of fort and road building across the region. the fort of manchester was built in AD79 as part of this program to subjugate and then police,the native celts.the region however remained a miliitary zone on the remote edge of the empire throughout the roman occupation of Britain .

On Saturday 15 June 1996, at a peak shopping time the day before Father's Day, a 3,000 pound IRA bomb exploded in Manchester, injuring more than 200 people and ripping into the fabric of the city's main shopping centre.

In a state of shocked disbelief, police had begun clearing people from the area some 40 minutes before the blast; fortunately, several telephoned warnings had been issued to newspapers, radio stations and to at least one hospital in Manchester an hour before the blast. Newspaper offices in Dublin and Belfast received similar warnings.

An army bomb squad employed a robotic anti-bomb device to check an illegally parked Ford van, which had been recorded by several closed circuit security cameras in the city, when the bomb exploded.

Manchester's ambulance services counted 206 injured people. Most injuries were sustained from falling glass and building debris. In the immediately ensuing chaos, ambulances and private cars were used to shuttle victims to local and regional hospitals.

Local authorities had to close Victoria and Piccadilly railway stations for several hours and to seal off the city centre. The evacuation of shoppers immediately took place from the Marks & Spencer's department store, which was directly at the centre of the site, outside which the lorry-bomb was parked.

Initially, the evacuated staff and shoppers stood outside, right next to the bomb, but when the emergency services realised this they shunted them to the nearby Victoria Station.

Why Manchester city centre was targeted by the IRA is uncertain, but it later became clear that the cause probably lay in the breakdown of the IRA "ceasefire" in the light of lack of progress with the British Government's ongoing talks about a permanent peace settlement in Northern Ireland.

It was estimated that up to 50,000 square metres of retail space and nearly 25,000 square metres of office space have subsequently needed to be reconstructed.

Whilst much of the city centre has now reopened, the immediate area surrounding the blast site, including parts of the Arndale Centre, the Corn Exchange, the Royal Exchange, Royal Insurance's Longridge House and Marks and Spencer's remain cordoned off and a considerable amount of demolition has had to take place.

Marks & Spencer's store, alas, was totally demolished, and the Royal Insurance Building is no more, as are several shops in the immediate vicinity.

Central government quickly set aside £1million of European Union finance and set in place a master plan for the redevelopment of the City Centre. They have also provided £150,000 to support an international urban design competition, which was launched just one month after the bombing, and which provided a cohesive plan for rebuilding.

The reconstruction has been overseen by the new City Centre Task Force, Millennium Manchester Organisation. The government allocated a further £20 million to Manchester from the European Union regional aid budget for 1997-99.

Four years later, and the whole area of the devastation zone is now completely restored. The Royal Exchange has been renovated, the Corn Exchange has been reborn as the Triangle, and the whole north side of the Arndale Centre has been rebuilt.

Shambles Square including the Old Wellington Inn and Sinclair's Oyster Bar - the two oldest buildings in the city of Manchester - have been physically moved some 100 yards to a new Shambles Square location off Exchange Square and opposite Marks and Spencer.

Finally, Marks and Spencer have rebuilt completely on the original site, the largest M&S store in the world.

When the bomb went off, it exploded at 2,000 feet per second.
no-one was killed although, 200 people were injured.
Greater Manchester Police and the Anti Terrorist Squad launched a massive investigation called Operation Cannon to find the bombers.

Today I woke up from my Afternoon sleep, when I heard people screaming and shouting when I looked out the window, the Tsunami was coming in! Today we looked at the different types of dresses. One of them was Victorian dresses and their shapes. Last week on Tuesday we went to Miss Robinson's friend, she told us what she thought of our dress and what she would make it out of if she had done it. Hello, I go to Stretford High School. I love all the lesson's especially expressive arts ( Drama, Music and Art). I really enjoy maths and English too because when I leave school I either want to be a lawyer or an accountant. I love 3D drawing because it is different to the usual way of drawing .

I would really like to understand how much maths goes into making an accurate 3D drawing and if there's a technique to creating a precise and accurate 3D model of a 3d house.

At the moment there's a piece of software on the computer that helps to get an idea of how to build a 3D building so I'm trying to structure a template of the school and aim on putting it onto google earth.
I have been trying to create a model of the school. At first I just started of with a simple house but now I know what to do so I'm going to start the more complex structure of the school building...

We are designing a dress out of shapes we have picked the dress and drawn on 2D shapes at the front allover. We would like to learn how we could put our ideas into maths. It's an intresting thing to do because its something that you wouldnt of think of to have as a maths project. next week we woyuld like to do some research about how a a peice of fabric turns into something amazing. What a fantastic day we had yesterday at the iBusby workshops!

I really hope you all came away having gained something from the experience but now come the challenging bit! All the technology we have available is a wonderful thing to have at our fingertips but it is how we use it that counts?

How can you best use some of these great tools? Will Google Docs make your next group project much easier? Will communicating through your school Gmail make your life easier? Will uploading through Realsmart mean the end of crumpled up home learning at the bottom of your bag – I hope so!

Technology is not about what it cando but what it actually does for you and now is the time, right at the start of your Stretford journey, that you need to start making it a huge part of your learning!

How will you start to use this technology? It would be great to hear your comments below.

A note on comments and posts – remember, these blogs are like a digital version of your class book that everyone can see. If your posts and comments are not good enough for your book, they shouldn’t be on here.
