Let me get you in the mood to get involved in this great sport.

I have just got back from a fabulous sailing trip in the Caribbean. We set offer from Tobago and sailed to Grenada, an over night 12 hour sail averaging 7 knots. We spent 2 weeks exploring Grenada and all the fabulous bays and anchorages there, Grenada is somewhat of of yachtsmen haven with the Island catering excellently for yachtsman. We sailed up to Union Island for one night in Chatham Bay experiencing the beach BBQ they have too offer and had a great night there. The following morning and 7.00am we then set sail for Bequia where we stayed three weeks taking in the Bequia Easter regatta, great experience and well worth the visit.
We then set off to the Tobago Cays, now this is like sailing onto another planet, the views over the coral reef system are out of this world, turquoise blue seas with small uninhabited Islands, fabulous snorkeling with the turtles in this marine nation park only accessible by boat so we did feel rather privileged!
We then sailed to Cilfton Bay, Union Island, and had a week there, visiting Happy Island where a local rasta has build little piece of paradise only accessible by dingy and on arrival he offers you a great rum punch to watch the sun go down with.
Then set off back to Grenada via PSV Island, this is an Island with an exclusive holiday resort for the rich and famous, so we looked on, but the beaches of white sand were a pleasure to walk on and the turquoise blue reefs we experienced some great snorkeling.
Arriving in Carriacou Grenada was a pleasure as the wind had freshened and we were ready to take a break Carriacou is a nice Island where you can provision up and eat out at some very nice reasonably priced restaurants, and it also has a floating bar run by an englishman.
Our journey back to Tobago was one of the best sails i have every experienced. We were accompanied with dolphins along the way, flying fish landing on the deck and not another boat or Island in sight. The sail took 22 hours of which we sailed 19 hours, that's not bad on the point of sail with the easterly trade winds.
This is just one of my sailing trips, there has been many more which i have included in some of my articles i have had published on learning how to sail.
I hope this has helped in getting you out on the water and seeing a bit of the world you would not be able to see other than from a boat?

“The Package” includes the following

The 7 Day Package Itinerary.
Day 1, Meet and greet from the airport and get settled into the villa, take a dingy ride to the yacht “Fleetwing” for your introduction, back to the villa for dinner and a relaxing evening.
Day 2, After breakfast take a short car ride to Store Bay to the yacht. Have a safety and introduction briefing of the yacht facilities. Take an afternoon and sunset sail getting you sailing and trying your part on the helm. Back to the villa for dinner and rest up in preparation for day 3
Day 3, Back on the yacht for a full day’s sail visiting isolated bays and find a suitable anchorage for your first night at sea.
Day 4, Raise the anchor after breakfast and set sail to more part of the Island learning sailing techniques on the way and then stopping off for snorkeling swimming and a BBQ Lunch. Back to the villa to refresh.
Day 5, A day of your choice which could include another day sail, an Island tour, sightseeing, or relaxing at the villa.
Day 6, A day sail covering all the points that you fill you need help with to boost your confidence and preparation for the next steps to your sailing hobby.
Day 7, A sad day, but still time for an early morning sail and off to the airport.

The 14 Day Package Itinerary
Basically the 14 day package can be a repeat of the 7 day package but with more time for longer sails and view more parts of the Island. A overnight sail to Grenada could be included in the package at an extra cost for immigration and customs fees.

The 7 Day Rates
Are in $US and include, transfers, continental breakfast, 2 course dinner, BBQ lunch or alternative refreshments on board, luxury yacht and villa accommodation.

2 persons……..$US 3495 per person plus tax ($US 6990 per couple)

4 persons…….$US 3190 per persons plus tax ($US 6380 per couple)

We offer two Wedding Packages the Deluxe and Super Deluxe.
Deluxe wedding package consists of the following;

Breakfast in bed for the honeymoon couple.
The price of this package for a maximum of 10 People starts at just
US$ 2400.00
The villa rental cost for a minimum 5 nights stay starts at just US$ 470.00 per night sleeping 10 people and we can also arrange hire cars for US$ 60.00 per day.
Therefore a Deluxe wedding package for up to 10 guests as detailed above and then adding in the villa rental minimum 5 nights stay and car hire 5 days, the start cost is just;
US$ 5050.00
This package can be flexible and arranged to suite the amount of people attending the wedding ceremony and budget.

The Super Deluxe Wedding Package.
The Super Deluxe wedding package can be tailor-made to your every requirements and prices submitted to your tailor-made list. We can quote you for a super deluxe wedding package; all we need to receive from you is a full list of your requirements and number of guests?
We operate a flexible approach to arranging our wedding packages for our guests and honeymoon couples, so if you could inform us of your expected budget then we can arrange and advise a wedding package accordingly?
Legalities
Marriages are performed by Marriage Officers, licensed by the Government of Trinidad & Tobago. The couple must obtain a valid Marriage License US $ 50.00 (TT$ 300*). After three (3) days in T&T (not counting the day of arrival), wedding couples in Tobago, can get this form from the Wardens Office in Tobago's Capital, Scarborough, by making a personal appearance with their passports; their return tickets in and out of T&T; an original Divorce Decree and/or Death Certificate of a spouse, if previously married, (all documents must be in English). By law, Marriages must be performed in a public place between 6.00am and 6.00pm. Marriage Certificates can be obtained after the wedding from the Registrar General's Office once the marriage has been registered by the marriage Officer.
The cost of the first Certificate is US$ 4.50 ($TT 25.00*) while there will be a further US$ 2.25 ($TT 12.50*) each, for any thereafter. Most countries accept marriages in T&T without any additional requirements, but it is advisable to check with the relevant authorities concerning this.
