As the UK’s CETL programme is drawing to a close, I thought it’d be interesting to talk to someone on the inside of this about what it’s been like for them. Lynn Clouder is the director of CIPeL, the Centre for Inter-Professional e-Learning, a CETL involving Coventry and Sheffield Hallam, and she’s agreed to talk about her experiences of this initiative.

John Traxler talks about an ethics and Web2.0 special interest group

So, for this episode I asked John Traxler to talk about a new special interest group that he’s setting up. The focus is on ethics and work with Web2.0, and particularly the way in which expectations about norms and protocol could get confused as people move between formal education and other contexts.

John Traxler, who’s professor of Mobile Learning and Director of the Learning Lab at the University of Wolverhampton, has agreed to talk about a new Special Interest Group that he’s setting up. Its focus is “Ethics and Ethical Issues in the use of Web2.0 in Higher Education”. If you’ve got any questions you’d like to put to them, why not email them to me or post them as comments here? I’ll try to work them into the discussion.

Grainne Conole talks about Cloudworks

For the first of these podcasts, I persuaded Grainne Conole to explain a bit about Cloudworks – what it is, what it’s for, what she hopes it will achieve and so on. She also explains how to pronounce her name correctly.
