This is a buzzword-type way of someone admitting that they have absolutely no clue, and that they don&#x27;t intend to find the answer.  Instead, they either pass the buck to some other poor soul (usually to someone with a lower salary), or simply reply with the statement itself with no direction, help, or suggestions as to where the answer can be found. As in... &#x27;You&#x27;ll have to ask Lindsay for the answer to your question -  Financial Analysis is not in my swim-lane&#x27;</description>

Cog in the works 2: &#x27;How about telling people we&#x27;re working hard to on-board people?  It means the same as signing them up or selling them our stuff, but it really drive home the &#x27;community&#x27; and &#x27;co-operation element...kinda....&#x27;</description>
