TP&W Game Managed South Texas Ranch

This 1230 acre Whitetail Deer lease is located in Val Verde County, approximately 15 miles from Loma Alta.

Lease managed under the guidance of Texas Parks and Wildlife for the past 20 years with the goal of preserving a substantial whitetail herd and a significant number of trophy bucks. All hunters must maintain accurate TP&W kill records throughout the season. Harvest recommendations are made annually by the TP&W biologist. The lease is a 1230 acre pasture in a 25,000 acre ranch in the South Texas hill country. It has water and electricity at the camp site and a hunting cabin. For the past several years, there have been 4-6 axis deer and a couple of aoudads, plus the appropriate number of whitetails taken off this pasture. Turkeys are aundant, and at times, doves also. With proper supervision, youth hunters are encouaraged. The number of guests allowed is at the discretion of the lessee as long as safety measures are in place.
