I remember when my father was still with us every Fathers Day I could never think of what to get him. It always ended up being a shirt and a tie and I think back at how happy he seemed to receive them but now I know that he was probably thinking "Geez another shirt and tie". Being a blue collar worker my dad really did not need a closet full of dress shirts and ties. Sorry Daddy!
I was looking through our website today to see what we had for Fathers Day gifts and their is so many choices. I picked one particular leather briefcase that I feel is just the right gift for dad. Let me share with you the Parma Edition Italian leather briefcase. This leather briefcase is exceptional with its beautiful leather and thick khaki stitching. With two inside compartments and a center zippered compartment the man in your life will be able to keep his files and briefs in order. Their is a pocket for a cell phone or smart phone and a place for pens with another small place to carry business cards. The outside has two front gusset pockets and the flap over keeps whatever is in them secure but still readily accessible for things like plane tickets. The rear of the Italian leather briefcase has a zippered pocket that will also carry some files and a book so when you are working while traveling it is all right there at your fingertips. Handsome and durable stainless steel hardware and Swiss made RiRi Zippers. A detachable shoulder strap that has a 42/46" drop. With all these features I am very impressed with the functionality of this leather briefcase.
I am not done though, I must tell you about the absolutely beautiful leather.It is Italian leather calf-skin that has been tumbled with a special cognac vegetable dye. The result is a soft, natural leather that will get better as it ages - each bag takes on a unique look and darkens like a saddle over time. If you want something special for dad this is it... Where did the year go? I can not believe it is already the end of October . Thanksgiving is a month away and you know what that means, holidays are right around the corner. I have ALOT of facebook friends from all over the world and when I blog about "Man Bags" I get the most comments. It is not about the bag itself but the term "Man Bags". It is usually a good comment about the bags but then of course I get the comments about how they would never carry a "purse". To them I say this; You are at an amusement park with the family your wallet is in your pocket ( front,back it does not matter) you are carrying your camera, cell phone is in on your belt, you are holding the youngest child's hand and the drink that he or she is tired if carrying. Your wife has the same thing going on with your other child so she has her hands full as well. The family is having a great time and everybody is hungry, after standing in a long line you order the food and when you go to pay your wallet is missing,you drop the camera on the ground (It breaks) looking for your wallet and it is gone. You back track knowing full well you wont find it. It never occurred to you that the person who bumped into you took it but he or she did. If you think I am exaggerating the story I am not! It happens everyday all over the world. I am not saying the"Man Bag" is the answer to all problems when on a family outing but it will sure help by keeping your personal belongings safe and secure while the family has fun.

The leather man bag I am writing about today is the ClaireChase Small 2 Tone Vaquetta Leather Man Bag. This is a smaller vaqueta leather bag but has alot of room. The interior can easily fit a camera,wallet, tickets and a few personal things that will stay safe because it also has a couple zippered interior pockets and a flap front with very nice hardware that snap locks into place and will not open until you open it. The back of this leather bag has a slip pocket to carry things that you need easy access to. Beautifully lined in a handsome print this bag is also about the look. Two toned cafe colored (which is a dark brown) vaqueta leather that is soft, durable and looks better and better as you use it. This is in my opinion a very masculine leather bag that is quite simply handsome and stylish. It is my guess that you will get many compliments carrying this "Man Bag"

Caring For Your Leather Handbag

How should you care for a leather handbag? Although leather handbags are extremely durable,A little attention goes a long way in enhancing their beauty. Wipe off spots and spills promptly with a slightly damp cloth. About four times a year apply a coat of neutral (colorless) leather shoe polish to your leather handbag and buff it back to mint condition.(Before applying any polish,test a small area on the bottom of the bag to ensure it is colorfast). Gently brush suede handbags with a soft suede brush to loosen dirt and restore luster. When was the last time you cleaned out the inside of your leather handbag? It pays to purge your handbag once a month, remove all items and vacuum the lining with a small hose attachment. Leave the empty bag open to "air out" for a day or two. Refill and you are ready to go. Never store leather handbags in plastic bags. Leather needs to breath. Store your leather handbags in lightweight cotton bags. Though I wrote this about leather handbags, this goes for all your leather bags, leather backpacks, duffles, briefcases and tote bags etc. You pay good money for your leather bags so treat them with care.
