Leeds Festival 2009 organisers have released the line-up for the Festival Republic Stage this year.

The acts are as follows:

SoulSavers with Mark Legan

This was never really that likely, and it has now been confirmed that they will 100% not be there.

Here are their tour dates.

Aug. 26 – Billings, MT – Metra Park Arena
Aug. 28 – Boise, ID – Quest Arena
Aug. 29 – Salt Lake City, UT – The E Center
Aug. 31 – Colorado Springs, CO – Colorado Springs World Arena
Sep. 01 – Casper, WY – Casper Events Center

Sorry about all the negativity at the moment, but I thought it was best these rumours got cleared up so there isn’t any false hope!

Many people on the Facebook group think I’m MAD and out of date for posting about bands being ruled out, but if you look at the line-up poster you will see that it still says, more acts to be confirmed for the Main Stage.

So that’s (hopefully) more good line-up news coming soon!

It has been confirmed that they will be supporting Blink 182 on their USA tour.

You can gain free entrance to this summer’s Leeds Festival by joining our Campsite Assistant Teams, and don’t actually have to do that much work either!

Tasks include:
- Assisting festival goes with directions.
- Helping festival goers carry their belongings and pitch their tents.
- Working with Fire Safety, Medical and Security teams as required.

The band have tour dates planned in America at the same time that Leeds Festival takes place.

August 28th – Camden, Pa. (Susquehanna Bank Center)
August 29th – Hartford, Conn. (New England Dodge Music Center)
August 30th – Washington, D.C. (TBD)
August 31st – Wantagh, N.Y. (Nikon Theater at Jones Beach)

Jack Penate will feature in the 2009 line-up on Sunday 30th August.

Promoting his brand new album ‘Everything is New’ Penate will play on the NME stage.
