What: Middle School Students – This is THE Event of the summer for you! For more than 12 years, CIY (Christ in Youth) has led the way in providing age-appropriate events for Middle School Students. MIX is a brand new four-day summer event that understands that middle schoolers need their own experience. MIX is designed for the cognitive and developmental abilities of 6^th through 8^th grade students. This is a great week for building relationships with students as they come to understand their own spiritual formation and grow as disciples of Jesus through dynamic worship, engaging activities, off-the-chart recreation and small group interaction! We want as many of your friends to come as possible!

Forms Due by March 31:

• A non-refundable $50 deposit

Cost Includes:

• ALL Meals (except for 1 travel meal), lodging and transportation

• Early Bird Cost: $275 per person, if registration and full payment is received by April 15!  So after your $50 deposit, get the remaining payment of $225 in by April 15 or just pay the full payment of $275 by April 15.

• After April 15 Cost:  $299 per person.

In this 12-session small group Bible study, Lysa TerKuerst, Elisa Morgan, Jeanne Stevens and other leaders look at the spiritual lessons learned from twelve biblical women and what they mean for your life today.

You’ll learn about the triumphs and failures of Mary Magdalene, Rebekah, Hannah and nine other women, studying their lives and learning how to:
- Apply biblical lessons to their own modern-day struggles
- Live through their failures as well as successes
- Draw near to God in a world filled with trials
- Find lasting contentment
- Overcome rejection and insecurity and much more

Each of the 12 sessions focuses on one biblical character (Rebekah, Abigail, Hannah, Gomer, Leah, Mary Magdalene, Mary of Bethany, Martha, The Woman at the Well, Mary the mother of Jesus and The Syrophoenician Woman).

You’ll also discover lessons from each of these women that will help you persevere through the circumstances you are facing today.

This Participant Guide features discussion questions, background information on each character, space to write down thoughts, a helpful Leader’s Guide, and much more (155 pages, sold separately). It is designed for use with the Twelve Women of the Bible DVD.

Using video teaching that features several noted experts and authors as well as small group discussion, this volume offers men a bigger vision for grace-based fatherhood. The workbook is filled with practical insights, Biblical wisdom and helpful resources to prepare dads to launch healthy sons and daughters into the world.

The women of Lee's Summit Campus will study the New Testament books of Acts through Revelation chronologically.  Feel free to bring a snack or lunch as we discuss what God has been teaching through the week.

A chronological Bible is not needed to participate…but helpful.  Andrea Hester will lead and provide the scriptures needed for study each week. The study should end by Thursday, March 17.

Legacy Ballet will follow the Shawnee Mission Schools District for both daytime and evening school/activity cancellations.

What is "A Night to Remember"?
A formal evening of dinner, dancing and friends. Get out your formal wear and get ready for "A Night to Remember"!  It is an evening where special needs guests will be salon pampered. They will have a chance to walk the red carpet, get their picture taken by paparazzi, eat a formal dinner and then dance the night away with their friends.

Who is invited?
Our friends (ages 15 and over) in the community who have developmental, physical or mental disabilities.

Caregivers
Since some Caregivers need to stay with the guest for the entire evening, each guest may bring one other adult with them to the party. That might be a caregiver, a parent or a friend but only one other person will be allowed to enter the party with the guest. It is not required that you bring anyone to the party (unless you need your caregiver) as you will be paired with a buddy for the evening to show you around. All caregivers will be able to eat a meal with their special guest.

Buddies
We're excited about hosting "A Night to Remember", but another reason for the party is that “we want to hang out with you!” We asked those that attend Legacy Christian Church to serve as your buddies for the evening and a lot of people said “YES,” they would love to get to know you. Each special guest will have a buddy for the evening to help make sure you don’t miss out on any special part of "A Night to Remember!"  Most importantly your buddy will be with you to make sure you have FUN!

Hair, Make Up and Nails
One of the best parts of the evening will be a salon style pampering for both the men and women.  We have a team of hair and make-up professionals to assist you in getting ready for the evening.  Guys, come for a new hairstyle. Ladies come and get your hair, make up and nails done…all free!
