Who, What, When:The High School Joplin Service Project takes place in Joplin and we will be specifically partnering with College Heights Christian Church. The trip will be March 11-15 and we will be staying at Camp CYOKAMO. The trip is open to all high school students.We will be spending a few days serving Joplin and the people that were impacted by the tornado last year. We will be helping with clean-up, building projects, distribution of clothes, food, and other items and working alongside families impacted by the tornado. MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers

MOPS, Mothers of Preschoolers, is a group designed to meet the needs of mothers with children from birth to Kindergarten. MOPS of Legacy is a chapter of MOPS International, Inc. and is a non-profit organization. MOPS meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday during the school year from September to May. Meetings take place in the lower level of Legacy Christian Church Overland Park Campus Room 115. This ministry was established to provide a peer group and adult mentors for those enrolled. The participants meet on Saturdays in the Legacy gym kitchen to bake treats and again on Sunday mornings to sell them for a minimal price in Legacy's coffee shop, The Paramuthia Cafe. Open on the WeekendsOP Campus - Room 201 Come to church early and enjoy a cup of hot coffee and a cookie or a cinnamon roll. Paramuthia Cafe will open 45 minutes before each service and close 15 minutes prior to worship. Treats provided at a small cost by 'Cook'ies INC, an outreach ministry for young adults with special needs. Paramuthia Cafe will be open on the weekends and is located in room 201. (Please, no food or drinks in the Worship Center)
