The first rumor that we have is in regards to Zelda Wii U. This piece of news has shown up on popular sites such as 4CHAN and Newgaf. With that in mind, remember these are just rumors and are by no means confirmed.

Now, without further ado, according to the rumors, fans of the Zelda series should not expect to see much of Zelda Wii U at E3 this year. The game is apparently a mid 2015 title at the earliest. The game is said to be designed off of the tech demo we saw a couple of years ago and will be the largest and most grand Zelda title to date. However the game is still too early in development to show much at E3. Do not expect to see more than some concept art and a brief statement.

That concludes the Zelda Wii U rumors. Nothing too exciting at this time. Stay tuned for more Zelda Wii U news.

According to Aonuma this game is the most inventive Zelda game yet and he says, ”It certainly feels different from our point of view.”

It was also confirmed that both the Light and Dark Worlds would be returning, though it is unclear to what extent. Aounuma also went on to say Link’s wall abilities was spurred on by the Phantom Ganon boss fight from Ocarina of Time.

Lastly he states that this is a game that must be played in 3D. The game will be enjoyable for all with or without the 3D effect, but players will get a deeper appreciation of the game’s depth with it on.

This game will be set in the same world as A Link to the Past, the SNES classic released in 1991. Furthermore, this game is not just a remake, it is a brand new outing for our favorite hero.

Hyrule will look and feel similar to the world in A Link to the Past, but the game will heavily rely on the console’s 3D screen to impact its gameplay. The world’s depth and height will greatly be effected by the 3D features. During a video presentation, Link was shown being thrown up into the air towards the gamer, to avoid obstacles.

<a

While in this form the game will switch to a side view while Link walks along walls. Link is also able to slip through narrow paths and escape from a jail cell while in this form.

When asked what he thought of this opinion, Harvey likened the game to the Zelda series. See that portion of the interview below.

Well, maybe I shouldn’t say this because we’ve been using the term Metroidvania in our description, but personally I think “Guacamelee!” is more like a “Zelda” game in many ways. Like “Zelda,” the game has open areas and towns with a number of dungeons or temples that you complete in a specific order. Plus, like “Zelda,” the game is guided by a story that keeps driving you to the next location. The sidescrolling platforming is certainly Metroidvania, but the structure of the game is more “Zelda”-like.

Since then news on the title has been totally quiet. While this piece is far from official news, it is nice to see an inkling of information to confirm the game is still being worked upon. Retail giant Walmart has recently posted a page on their website where shoppers can pre-order several upcoming Wii U titles. That list includes several unnamed games including:

Mario 3D Wii U

Zelda 2 RPG Wii U

Shin Megami Tensei/Fire Emblem Wii U

Super Smash Bros. Wii U

Mario Kart Wii U

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Wii U

The interesting part about this is that they have the Legend of Zelda title named “Zelda 2.″ I should also point out that this is not the same as Wind Waker HD, as Walmart has a separate listing for that title.

This website http://zreomusic.com/ Is going to shut down indefinitely.

He says their hearts are heavy but it is a decision that they made together.

The site will go dark as of June 12th 2013. But loyal viewers will be able to say their goodbyes before then if they wish.

In the words of Eric he says and I quote. “Our legend will survive on the wind’s breath.”

For those of you who have viewed the site numerous times it will be hard to see it go.

But like the saying goes. “Lest We Forget.” Zelda Reorchestrated also known as ZREO will live on in our hearts forever and if you wish to listen to all those classic Zelda tunes I’m sure Youtube can service you as far as that goes.

So as I write this I am saddened to see the site. I say farewell to the ZREO team and I wish you well in your future plans.

Goodbye ZREO.

This sentiment seems to be shared by a lot, especially those in the gaming industry. Who could blame them? Zelda is a huge series, and being involved with a Zelda project would be a huge deal for ones professional career.

The most recent person to express interest is David Cox, producer of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow.

That’s a question, haha. I’m a massive fan of Zelda, so would I like to work on a Zelda-game…I’d love to work on a Zelda-game, that’d be amazing. How would I change it? I don’t really know. I mean, I think I would make it more like Ocarina of Time, because that’s the kind of Zelda-game I really, really like. You know, the wonder of exploring that whole world that felt like a cohesive whole…it all felt like it belonged together. So I think that would be something I’d love to do. That’s quite a difficult question to answer, but if Iwata-san is listening: I’d love to work on Zelda.

From soothing piano and strings to hip-hop beats, Mamacitas in My Valley has quickly become one of my favorite Zelda remixes. OverClocked ReMix also recognized this song and is referred to by fans as one of the best on the site.

Tell me what you think of the song in the comments below and I’ll see you soon with another Zelda remix!
