WoW is definitely not dead. Yesterday, during their 2013 Q4 earnings call, Blizzard announced that subscriber numbers have actually gone up… not an insane amount… about 200,000, actually. But, that’s still a good amount for a ten-year-old game.

Patch 5.4.7 release date…

An official blog post has come out warning players that they have two weeks until the end of the current PvP season. Combine that with Brian Holinka saying the release of the patch coincides with the end of the season and it looks like we have a two week wait for the patch to drop.

Raiding changes coming to the 6.0 prepatch

Ion Hazzikostas has confirmed that the Warlords raid changes will come with patch 6.0 and not with the expansion release. This means that flex will become normal mode, normal will become heroic and be flexible and cross-realm.

The biggest change is to heroic which will become mythic.
