Earlier today, Warner Bros. Games announced that LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 in September and there’s a freebie that you may be interested in. Like with the other systems, they will have both the Standard Edition and the Deluxe Edition but the physical copies of the Deluxe will include an exclusive LEGO Retro Video Game Batman minifigure as well. In addition to the new LEGO Pokemon sets that have recently been revealed, there are also some new recruitment bags that will be coming out as well. The first one is the Premier Ball (30729) which has 46 pieces. The other one is the 56 piece Trainer Supplies (30730) that has a number of items used to catch Pokemon. There’s no word yet on how they will be distributed at this time.

Amazon has announced that Prime Day 2026 will be later this month from June 23-26. They’ll have thousands of items that will be discounted including LEGO. The main LEGO promotion for early June is The Lord of the Rings Grond (40893). You can only get it from June 1-7 with a purchase of Minas Tirith (11377) and I think it’s the perfect gift with purchase set to go with it.

Minifigures

The set does include two generic Orcs, one in red and one in olive green. The red one has silver metallic armor printing on both sides of the torso and legs. It has a double-sided head showing an evil smile on one side and an angry expression on the other. It does wear a helmet and has a machete as a weapon.

The green orc has a different style armor that is also metallic silver. Its double-sided head shows a stern look on one side and an angry snarl on the other. It’s accessory is a bow and arrow.

Build

The build consists of two separate smaller builds that combine towards the end. The first part is the wooden frame that holds the wolf. It has four pillars that had chains to hold up the wolf. There are wheels to roll it towards the Great Gate It is a little shorter than the source material as it had three sets of pillars. As a result, the wolf is also a little shorter.

A new LEGO Technic Formula 1 set has been revealed with the Aston Martin Aramco AMR25 (42240). Releasing on July 1, the set has 1,547 pieces and will retail for $229.99. The set features a new F1 car for the Technic line that has a two-speed gearbox leading to a V6 and simulated electric engine and also has a working differential and functional steering.
