Hey all! I've been battling with how to deal with the different themes of LEGO that come and go and different ones that I work with that aren't entirely compatible. I got up to a total of 3 completely separate LEGO-related blogs, but I've now combined them all into one. To make it easier to access, I've set up the shortcut domain www.LEGOJANG.com to take you right to the main page, and I've also improved the labels/tags on posts to let you narrow them down by subject more easily!

To be clear, all posts from Hero-Factory.blogspot.com, bionicle-untold.com, and bionicle-untold.blotspot.com have been copied to the new LEGOJANG.com, and all future LEGO-related posts will be made there and only there, including both Hero Factory and System-related material.

Hero Factory MOC: Jet Rocka (Brain Attack wave 2)

Today everybody is going all crazy about the release of Brain Attack wave 2 set names on Brickset. A little vindication for me & my use of the "wave 1" term with all of my Brain Attack reviews to date, from the start. Just one of the newly unveiled names caught enough of my attention to inspire a quick little MOC. Introducing my first idea of what a Jet Rocka could look like, built on a purely current Hero Factory style ball-and-socket skeleton.

Some of the wave 1 Hero Factory Brain Attack sets just didn't come out right in my view, so I took the liberty of revamping them slightly to stay completely within the original size & style & intent of the official figures, while making them more complete & satisfying for my personal tastes.

I've completed all of the LEGO Hero Factory Brain Attack wave 1 combi / combiner / combination models and they're all up on YouTube. Obviously these were made without the instructions as the instructions are not yet out. Once the instructions are out, they'll be out, and everybody will be able to see and use them.

Just letting everyone officially know that I am aware of this. Not every comment on YouTube, Facebook, and here for the next month needs to let me know about this :)

I am also aware that there are a couple of very insignificant differences between the combiner models I made from the photos and the official instructions. Not every comment on my relevant content on YouTube, Facebook, and here need to let me know about this! LOL! The differences are so slight and inconsequential that I will not be making updated builds or videos as there is really no need.

Oh no, it's the end of LEGO Hero Factory's Summer 2012 line! Closing out Breakout Wave 2 for me is the new version of Nex. He's one of the two smaller characters of this wave, returning at about the same height as he started in original "2.0" form. Recaps & combination models are still to come!
