Another great bike from Bricksonwheels! Very similar to his Harley Fat Boy, but inspired in the Red Baron.

Love those exhaust pipes and the cross on the luggage! Lots, and lots of chrome, as usual! =D

MLKRACING Cafe Racer by Michael Kristensen

New bike Cafe Racer / Naked bike from MLKRacing! : )

This time, Michael made a bigger scale bike, using the wheels from the 8420 and seem to be based on the engine block from the 8051 but with a different frame, resulting in a clear, and and very racing Cafe RAcer Style Bike!

This bike as also a cool racing tail fairing, black and red color scheme and nice racing stand!

Classic Bike by Nick Barrett

Nick Barrett is a great builder that uses old studded Lego to make great vintage vehicles and it turned the 857 (or 8857) into something superb!

Wonderful job in the sidecar, great shape achieved with the studded old bricks, nice details, great bike improvements and the perfect color scheme!

In 1st place there is the new 2013 Lego Technic Moto Cross Bike 42007. This new bike is a really eye catcher, the color scheme and the new parts are great! Let´s see if there is to come so many Modified versions as it´s family sisters =D

In 2nd place there is the 8291 Dirt Bike from 2008. If you search a little on the web, you will notice that the 8291 is the base of many Lego bikes and is one of the most modified! It was a lot of potential!

In 3rd but not the last : ) there is the father of Lego Dirt Bikes, the beautiful 8838 Shock Cycle from 1991.

Definitely a great Classic!!!

Honda CB1100 by Zoltan

This Honda CB 1100 was built by Zoltan. I also posted some days ago a small scale bike made by Zoltan in our Facebook page.

This is a very nice MOC, and perfectly recognizable as a Honda CB1100.

Zoltan made a great fuel tank using LEGO Creator constrution style, mixed with all the Technic functions like a 4 cylinder engine, front and rear suspension.

The exausht system is great, representing perfectly the origanal curves of the bike.

Zolten didn´t forget the details, like for example the turn signal lights, and a simple but very nice grey battery cover.

Another interesting feature of this bike is the connection of the 4 cylinder engine to the transmission gears.

The transmission is connectde to the engine in the middle of the crankshaft!

This particular built allows a cleaner look of the bike without gears in any of the side walls of the engine. Furthermore it allows different positions of the cylinder heads (the first at 0°, the second at 180°, the third at 90° and the fourth at 270°) insted of the normal combination 0° and 180° offsets.

Cafe racer, italian style by Legopaede

Finally a new bike from Legopaede!!!

Legopaede is one of my favorite builders, and after is last build (at the end of 2007) I been waiting for news, especially in this folder... Then in the last week, legopaede presented in his brickshelf gallery a new version of his bike 4. I has very happy to see that legopaede is still active! And now Legopaede presented is new bike, an cafe racer, italian bike style!

At first instance when I look to the first picture of this bike it seamed an Ldd reendered built =D very cool photos!!!

Legopaede always use the same scale of bikes, and always uses the 8430/8417 wheels.
The bike as very nice details, great handlebar and brake levers and a modified front suspension "inner shocks" ; )

Harley Davidson V-Rod by Fred Ottens

This time Fred built this bike almos without Lego Technic pieces, going with a very Lego Creator / Model Team type creation.

Nice details and a very short chromed Scream Eagles exhaust pipes =D

Moto Guzzi Supermotard concept by Nemmoz

This is another beautiful bike from built by Nemooz. This time was difficult for me to choose the bike I should post because in the last days Nemmoz added many bikes to his already wonderful and big collection of technic bikes. So don´t forget to explore the links in the final lines of this post ;)

I decided to choose this Moto Guzzi Supermotard concept built because of the technical solutions and the overall look of the bike!

It uses a 2 speed Gearbox that fits perfectly behind the powerfull V-twin.

Nice parts to use as disc brakes (they seem to be Wheel Wagon parts) and nice cyclinder covers/valves.

The solution for the Cardan-axle is great and I must say, that´s the best application I´ve seen for the 61904 part =D heeheh

What I really like about this bike is the contrast between old technic and studded parts and the new technic studless parts.

The doesn´t have a fake moving engine, it more like a model team / creator version and it´s very nice!

I found the next bike in brickshelf and for the time it was posted it seems that changxinwu built is replica without instructions.

Well you can figure it out by yourself as changxinwu did, and replicate a 42007 with your extra pieces or check them out from LEGO.

The new 42007-1 is becoming available for more countries at LEGO SHOP and it´s also starting to appear at some stores at BRICKLINK.

Bike-2 by Legopaede

This bike may not be new to some of you, it was presented on Brickshelf at the end of 2006, but it deserves to be highlighted, like all the other bikes Legopaede.

Legopaede made a great technical build in this bike, with a really cool rear suspension similar to some buell models like:

Great front duolever suspension, parallel twin engine and a cardan axle.

The clear and simple seat is great and the bike is full of nice details, like piping, brake pads, radiator, levers and lights.

Great build, gathering functions and aesthetics.

This custom trike was made by Winstn.

The front look of the bike is similar to bobber´s style.
The trike is very cool starting with the frame, using essentially Technic Angle Connectors as we can see in this precious version:

The engine has a very cool air intake and a nice swift knob:

I really like the folding/protection of the front suspension, nice idea!

Harley Davidson XR 1200 by kurtSoares

Hello everybody! Now, celebrating the start of the 2nd year of blogging I present another bike that I´ve made, the HD XR 1200.

It is based on the Harley Davidson XR 1200.

The idea of making this bike was to use the V engine of the alternate model of set 8051 but with a different frame, with suspension. Then I automatically thought of the XR 1200, it´s a bike that I like and could be a cool challenge!

I hope that you like it!

The biggest help that I´ve had on this bike was the Intermediate drive chain removed of set 8051 Alternate build thanks to the builder GMT

Hardtail Bobber by Erix

This Hardtail Boober was made by Erix and was inspired in a modified Yamaha XS650 with a Bobber look.

Example of a hardtail XS650:

Erix made a very compact build and I really like the frame, the Twin Engine build, moving pedals, and the simple and nice details like the rear light.

That´s right, one year blogging since first post!

I want to thank you all, that somehow helped this blog to grow:
- visitors (40290);
- All the creators/builders (already 54 different builders in 71 posts);
- the ones that left comments;
- E-mail me with is own creations, or found some cool bikes and shared with me;
- The ones that joined the facebook page (79);
- My Mocpages/Lego friends;

I want to share some curiosities about this blog:

Despite most of the builders have more than one motorcycle (creation) I´ve tried to post always different builders, if you follow the links, you will get much more bikes that the ones posted ;)

HONDA REPSOL CBR1000RR by Oryx Chen

This epic creation was made by Oryx, and it´s... WOW! Amazing!

At first site we can see that the bike is absolutely well detailed, custom HONDA REPSOL Team stickers, painted orange rims, brakes, cables and so on..

All the fairing, front, head light was made using Model Team / Creator techniques and the base of the bike is all TECHNIC with working engine, front and a great rear suspension.

Speedway Bikes - Made of LEGO

I´ve had two builds "in the pocket" ready to show to you guys, but it never happened...

But with the release of the B-model of the new 2013 LEGO Technic set: 42007-1: Moto Cross Bike it seems it´s the right time to show them to you.

-> The first one was made by cbt (22336) from the technicworkshop

It´s a very clean build speedway bike with working engine:

I really like the overall look of the bike and is simplicity!

-> The other one was made by Tailgunner (81566)

It is also a speedway bike with some cool details:

I have to say it looks a little weird, but it´s specially because of the different color´s of the pieces used, the build uses some really interesting solutions!

NEW 2013 - 42007-1: Moto Cross Bike - Model A and B Pictures

Finally the first´s pictures of the 2013 first semester had been released, and off-course the most important of them all, the new Moto Cross Bike! =D

The new bike uses a longitudinally mounted 90° V-twin typical in Moto Guzzi engines, and not very usual on Motocross bikes, but it looks cool. I think it looks better than the 8291 flat-twin engine.

The overall look of the bike is greater then the 8291 (just my opinion), the orange panels look nice and the new tire treads for the 8051 rims seems great!

And thank´s to my friend James Bernard, here it is the secondary model:

A speedway bike!

It seems that the handlebar panels are new too!? ; )

Can´t wait to get this bike, and at lest two boxes! =D

V6 motorcycle with two speed gearbox by Daniel Wareing

This huge bike is the most recent build from Daniel Wareing. Daniel as made 16 bikes till date that can be seen on his mocpage. They are essencially vintage LEGO bikes (studded).

I really like this bike maybe because the first instance I saw the bike it reminded me of the Ducati 900ss

Just a coincidence? well it must be the lower fairing... well, it looks cool! =D

The bike as a big V6 engine and a 2 speed gearbox (see detail below)

I really like the first picture with the exhaust and rear brake details, nice details!

This bike made by OzBen is based on a classic Honda CB 400:

Big Twin by Zen Karma

This BIG TWIN bike is another BIG example on how great builder, Zen Karma is!

A big scale bike, with a lovely frame using Technic Axles and Angle Connectors, an incredible engine that fits perfectly, and it´s really catchy to the eyes.

the bike is full of great details, kickstarter, gear switch knob, the list is almost endless! =D
