Lego RC Motorbikes - State of Art

Everyone knows the lack of speed from Lego engines, even the Extra Large engine wouldn't be fast enough to make a self balanced bike.

The Bike posted above was made by Kieran Chamberlain and unfortunately there's no video, yet! :)

The look of the bike is great, and I'm sure it runs, well and fast!

The first self balanced bike that I've seen in Lego used some Non-Lego engines (modified m engine) to accomplish the speed needed.

It's a very interesting build already posted here, made by brickosouch.

Other one, made by Piterx, like the one made by kieran (dispite being diferent solutions) uses a direct gear system to turn the front wheel. (Piterex original post at eurobricks can be seen here).

The next, and last one was made by Slewentogzz and uses a very interesting system to turn the bike sideways, it uses a weight to turn the bike.

Rather the turning solution, the best way to propeller a RC Lego bike seems to be the RC motor!

Supermotard MOC made by Damianple. This build uses a great building techniques/solutions that turnes this supermoto in a great MOC. The use of parts is very cleaver, and the design of the bike is fantastic, very look alike a real one!

Great use of parts to in mud guard and "headlight" and handlebar

New build from NEMMOZ, MV Augusta Brutale 800.

Amazing and beautiful bike, as we are of his MOCs.

I like everything in this build, the angled connectors frame, the single side swing-arm, the mufflers.

In addition to the 8420 rims painted in black, those tires in orange are just incredible! What a nice touch! ;)

This TZ750 was built by Florin Nitulescu, and is based on the original MOC of Ken Mura. The original was a really nice build, but this one is awesome! The build/bike looks super realistic and proportional. I wish this one was an official set =)

[MOD] Lego 42036 V8 (Drysdale V8)

Hello my friends! Today I bring you another great build from Nemmoz.

This time is a modification of set 42036 inspired in the Drysdale V8.

I never thought in this modification, but now that I see it, it look so obvious, set 42036 is almost screaming to us to make this change! And it looks.... Awesome!!!

All the that exhaust pipes the big cylinders and all the carbs, make this even more impressive engine.
Together with other minor changes, I find this very interesting modification. Another interesting feature is the windscreen, part x224, is the same of set 8420 but all transparent.

Hello everyone! Low it up, start your big v-twin and ride! =)

Today I bring you another cool build from Mlkracing, a cool lowered bobber.

It uses the same big v-twin as 8051-B but, this one was chopped to a proper hardtail frame! ;)

Very minimalistic highlighting the big engine and simple lines. I think the stickers of the gas tank are great, those kind of flames give it a nice seventies style.

[MOD] 8420 Visual and technical upgrade by D3K

The 8420 is one of my favorite bikes from Lego, its a very good looking model, but D3K turned it even more beautiful in this modified version.

The alternative front fork is also very cool, and is the second version that I see of single arm suspension fork for this model. the other version can be seen here.

[MOD] 42036 Street Motorcycle with Gearbox by Spiderbrick

Hello everyone! This one is a cool MOD of Set 42036 Street Motorcycle.

At first instance it looks like another color swap, but the filled empty parts of the original build with more panels turned this bike in a very flow design, that just look very beautiful.

And when we look under the bike we can see red gear switch. It's an awesome MOD to the official build. I will try to replicate it in my 42036 :)

Another feature of this MOD is The position of the chain that is placed inside the swingarm.

Custom Moto Guzzi Based Cafe Racer by Kira Redlof

This MOC, is a very good looking Cafe Racer Moto Guzzi, with a not so common color scheme (blue and grey with some chrome details) that actually looks great, and as some interesting features, like foot clutch (neutral and first gear) and cardan axle transmission.

It was built by Kira Redlof, and was based on other MOC, also a great build, made by Nikolyakov, a Brat / Bobber style Moto Guzzi. The original build and post can be seen here.

The gearing system and cardan transmission is a very cool feature. The look of this Cafe Racer is beautiful.

This build is inspired in the Norton Manx a British race bike from the 50's, and was built by Csaba Bekker.

The detail of the engine is great on this build. Personally I think the front headlight is too big, but although than that it's a great build!

Very impressive build by Евгений Купцов!

Single side swingarm and fork with a massive V-engine!

Евгений done a great work with the narrowed tail and did a good use of parts for the headlight and radiator! Nice! ;)

Also the solution for the tires are very cool. They are from set 42007, but the studded parts from the tires where cutted! well done! ;)

Harley Davidson Shovell Softail by carle5o

Hello everyone! Some of you may already be familiar with this particular build, it's a creation from carle5o from 2012 and it uses has base the 8051-b Lego Set.

The upgrades made are fabulous, great details, turning this build in a very look like a Harley Davidson Shovell Softail (despite using a hardtail frame from the 8051-b Set).

The tail of the bike with seat and rear light look great and the fuel tank work is fabulous!

Another delicious detail is the inverted use of the Technic Cylinder, to give the Shovell look to the engine ;)

MOC - Harley Davidson V-Rod by Henrik Jensen

This MOC was created by Henrik Jensen, and it's a Creator / Model Team style Harley Davidson V-Rod. It also was some Technic features like stearing, front and rear suspension and chaindrive.

It's a great build, full of details including custom disk brakes, and one of the details I liked the most, a smaller rear rim but using two tyres, one above the other. Although the engine looks great, personaly I thing a working fake engine would be very cool on this build.
