So.... did anyone notice that we had two episode 12's? Yes, it's true. Kinda goofed that up I must say. It has been fixed now... but the file numbers will forever be messed up....and for that we are sorry. Really sorry. Like... a tonne (metric) sorry.

We have a nice chat with Leland's wife Carrie (I have no idea if I have spelled it correctly... and I don't have a picture either). She grew up in Melfort so.. she must be nice. Arlington Beach Camp. We thought we were done chatting... then we tried to call Leland... and, unfortunately, got in touch with him in Minneapolis. Leland happened to be at rotten ronny's with Daren Streblow. They were gonna try out Club 3 Degrees. Leland then went into denial. Leland reviewed his wedding gig for us at which he did not eat... but he did have Arby's beforehand.

Episode 13- Dare 2 be Mile High

This, apparently, is Starfield.

We got in touch with Leland in Denver, Colorado, USofA at the Doubletree Hotel. Joell was in Banff last week.... at this place (not kidding). The conference included sessions with Rod Wilson (President of Regent College) which should be on the BUWC website soon. Leland is going to Dare2Share in Denver. Apparently a famous band called Starfield will be there too. Apparently Larry got hit on the head. Man put in jail for not paying his ticket from 1984. Another man tries to call in a bank heist. We may be being invaded by the Brits. We close with a clip from the Waterboys!!!

It's our scary halloween episode! OK. It's actually not scary but work with us. Leland complains about the droves of kids they get at his house. We then try to figure out how many stone each of us is (yes, it makes for exciting audio). Here's a picture of Leland's stomach. The odd couple of Malaysia. Then the world's most unsexy person (who is a comedian... is it Leland?). Leland had a Mr. Dressup autograph.. and Spiderman's. We then chat about Prince Albert replete with Prime Minsters. Joell then talks about his tap trouble with Moen and Peerless. Lucy Maude Montgomery and Boris Karloff? Leland's next gig is at Lafflines in New Westminster. Then we chat with Bone from the U.S.A. So, we again talked about the old time Christian rocker Larry Norman (go buy his stuff!).
We tried to figure out who would need to do what if all the technology in the world disappeared. How to spell orange. Leland's upcoming comedy tour is comedytournament.com which will be coming in the new year. A school bans tag. A kid gets stuck going after Sponge Bob. Leland then insults all of Germany. Leland then wants Joell to play "20 questions" but can't remember the name of the game. The person he's trying to get me to guess is this guy who, as it turns out, doesn't live in Calgary...but rather here. A man's dog bursts into flames. Dogs should do their thing in pottys (here's one and here's another one). The Holy Rollers Comedy Revival. Then the outro.

Well, after a delay that was beyond our ability to under control we now have episode 7 hot off the presses. We then forget to add the end bit...so we reconnected to get it for you! :)

Leland is at Tyndale College for this week and doing a bunch of stuff for them... and also doing the Laugh Resort. Check him out this week if you are there. Leland got into a discussion over at Comedy Couch. Joell saw a sign about the famous Group of Seven at Home Hardware. Leland chatted about milk fat and Toronto. I mentioned Winkler Sausage and Garage Band. Then Leland starts coughing and just can't go on without some serious intervention which Joell is unwilling to provide.

Oak Harbor, Hoodwinked and Cory Edwards. Leland told about his trip to the US of A for a gig with Youth Dynamics, Denzil, SK (a place with a bar, snowmobiles and a bathroom). We, again, brought up the topic of comics from Saskatchewan... and that was as far as it got. We did some therapy for Leland who has computer phobia. And, Joell has two teen-agers now due to recent birthdays... we think. Of course, as mentioned, last week's comedy bit from Leland never actually showed up. Leland is off to Whistler for an air conditioning thing. Joell's been asked about baldness. We mentioned Glenbush, SK and then George Bush which led to a discussion on international arctic relations with submarines which, logically, led to a chat about dead cats becoming fuel and dressing up dogs and, again logically, octopi eating submarines. Then about misfiring missles... (ignore the little "blip blip" that keeps "blip blipping" during this part)! Then ended on a princely discussion of Rupert, Albert and George.

This week we caught Leland trying to leave Alberta and Joell trying to get there! We caught up on how Leland made out at the CFA conference, Joell tried to not talk about the weather, we chatted about the upcoming federal election and the crazy Abbotsford Liberal guy and the other parties running in his riding (CAP, TMP, and the MLP). We then discussed a pig spleen used to forcast the weather, the Calgary Tower, and a story about a falling dog.
