It's been an incredibly exciting, trying, and rewarding several months since we first launched the Lens Loop this summer.
By now, I hope that you've all gotten your straps and have been enjoying using a simpler, smarter camera sling.
1. Please share your thoughts and experiences about the Lens Loop
I've learned about some of my favorite camera accessories from amateur reviews in the photo communities that I participate in online.
A number of you are members of online photo communities, including Flickr, Dpreview, FredMiranda, the brand-specific forums, etc.
Now that you've had a chance to use the Lens Loop, please take a minute to share your thoughts on it with those communities. It would be a huge help towards helping Lens Loop become a sustainable company.
2. The XL Lens Loop
By popular demand, I'm having an extra-large version of the Lens Loop made. These will be made from Black Webbing and Antiqued Brass hardware with an additional 18 inches of material over what we use in the regular Lens Loop. The Classic XL is available for pre-orders at $45.
I'm placing an order for 50 units from the factory and should be shipping out in the second week of December.
At this point, the production run will be limited to these 50 units, although if there is enough interest, I can certainly make it a regularly stocked item.
3. Lens Cap Holder Adapters
I'm still waiting on my Lens Cap Holder. I've spoken to Mark, and a new one was mailed out to me on Monday 11/7. I have two designs for an adapter ready to go with the manufacturer and they are standing by to begin production. As soon as I have a chance to test the two side by side and am satisfied with how they work, I'll release the order to the factory.
