Song of the day - Nutshell by Alice In Chains

2018-02-17T18:25:00.000+08:00

The haunting lyrics always has hit me hard especially the first verse. It has been awhile since I heard this song. When hearing the first chord of the song could feel like a tonnes of bricks pounding my chest and hearing Lanye voice bring back memories that were bittersweet.

Now as I reflect back many of our grunge heroes are gone and this song make more sense now as I re listen to it.

Lepak Event: Retro Havoc 2015

2015-04-02T12:08:00.000+08:00

Retro Havoc 2015 was a blast! The event was held 28 March 2015, I felt I was walking in scene of Fast and Furious with all the types of cars parked in the parking lot in Neo Damansara! Cars galore !!!!! Malaysian Carheads are passionate to their craft and their love affair with the car. It hard to put on words what happen that day on word can sum it up it was totally "Havoc"! Cars revving a drift demo in the car park itself was crazy and awesome at the same time. With 400 show cars, 200 show bike on display with drift demo and trike drift truly havoc!!!!

All the car clubs came from far and wide to showcase their cars, trade tips and sole parts and even pass on wisdom to other car nuts that was their. You could to was family affair for some, the whole family came and help display the cars.

It was international affair with the presence of Shoje Inoue from STAR ROAD vintage car specialty shop as special guest and judge. Also Daijiro Inada from Option, wow what honor having two greats in Japanese tuning and drifting world gracing our local event.

The Indonesian and Thailand guys were their to support the event. From Indonesia we have the rep from Kustomfest and from Thailand the guys from Boatcup Chaly Thailand specializing in mini bikes.

Having heavy metal band in Malaysia XPDC closing the event really made it Havoc. What I can say car and bikers community really came out in full force for this event!!!!!! Can't wait for next year!

A collage some of the great cars and bikes at the event.

2013-12-30T18:12:00.000+08:00

It been a great year , I have not been blogging a lot as I should. So many things that I would like to comment and say my piece about but I thing I should refrain from hurting people feeling. Anyways as you can see I'm big Fast and Furious fan from blog entries. So I was sad news to hear the death of the Paul Walker. Not just that few days after the great leader Nelson Mandela also passed away but for me around that time my grand mom also passed way. So it was kinda hard to hear the news as I was away when she passed away. Let have moment of silence to those whom that have passed away in the year 2013. Here is a link those whom have passed away in 2013 -Say Goodbye to these famous people who died in 2013

I'm a budding bedroom DJ and love the art of Turntablism, I got to see one of the greats the Magnificent Dj Jazzy Jeff when he came to Kuala Lumpur few weeks back. I was blown away by his skills on wheel of steels.

Headed up north and stayed with my parents with kids for week, what change of pace staying up north in the land of yellow and green. Before that 10 days in the UK with the family it was fun and cold. Met up with old friend there and FB with another. I wish we had more time there it was a awesome place.

Big ups to my homies Wakaka Crew for winning the runner up prize on the Fundance TV show. To the Art Of Speed camp keeping the dream alive whom love the customs, rodding, modding, greaser culture turn heads where ever they go.

To my DJ sifu DJ Fuzz a great year for his label churning hits and turn heads with his blend of hip hop in Malaysian music scene. To Joe Flizzow, you got my little kids singing Havoc, Havoc when they hear it !!!
Gonna get my haircut soon at his barber shop one of these days.

Wakaka Dj Squad hopefully 2014 will be great year more practice, more music and more love to our beats! All for the love of Hip Hop. To Vandal and this crew keep it real yo! Do it for the love !!!!!!

Happy New Year 2014 Gonna be great one !!!!!!

Music video of the day

2013-03-04T14:03:00.001+08:00

Hello boys and girls for the music video of the day this time round I picking a rock ballad from a Rimba Bara. Taken from the sound track of ROCK OOO directed by Mamat Khalid. I chose this song because it remind me of my rocking school days hanging out with friends whom aspire to be rockstars!

Movie to go see!

2013-03-04T13:48:00.001+08:00

G. I JOE 2 - I have been waiting for this movie since last year. From the all three trailers the movie looks good. I say its like the Empire Strike Back, where the bad guys get the upper hand. With the likes of the Rock and Mr action hero himself Bruce Willis playing the original "G. I Joe" a play on the first G.I Joe action figure today it be awesome and the rock look like a action figure himself. The clash between Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes is good enough for me to go see it. To those whom grew up in the 80's this second installment brings what you imagine the conflict between GI Joe and Cobra comes to reality. So get the popcorn and soda pop out and get ready root for Joe's or Cobra it gonna be great action movie! Out in March 28!
