I never thought of wearing blues and greens together before, but now I'm definitely intrigued by this colour combination. I was originally going to do this outfit with a crisp, classic white shirt until my curiosity got the best of me. I am pleasantly surprised by the lovely pairing.

Primark jumpsuit / H&M shoes / Aldo bag

My closet is currently craving another (or several would work just as well) more jumpsuits - especially a wide leg one. I got this one from Primark during our London visit a couple years ago. Every summer since, without fail, this becomes my last minute 'I have nothing to wear' go-to item. It kind of switches things up from summery, flirty dress or the classic little black dress, and adds a bit of edge. Of course, can't be done without some killer heels.

My Voguish Diaries recently had it's second birthday just this month. The first one came and went last year and I didn't even realize. It totally bummed me out so it's not going to happen again. 2 years isn't a very long time, but I really did think I'd abandon it or give up on it or something. I think every personal style blogger would have to admit that sometimes it gets really hard and frustrating (scheduling issues with whoever is taking your photos, outfit not working out, rushing out while it's still light outside, etc. - the list does go on). Sometimes other parts of life just get in the way. But we always make our way back. My sanity depends on my blog (okay - maybe that's a slight exaggeration), but I couldn't imagine not having it. Since I don't work in the field, it's like my creative outlet, which makes it very necessary.

So I just wanted to say thank you to all my readers. Thank you so much for taking time out your day to stop by here. It honestly means so much. Thanks for following, commenting, emailing, tweeting, instagraming - all of it! Thank you for just connecting. I have made so many friends though blogging - so many amazing ladies that I wouldn't have otherwise met.

There probably wouldn't be a blog without my boyfriend, Ben. He first pushed me to start this, and has continued to support it. Taking all my photos can definitely be annoying for him, especially on the days when I feel like everything looks bad (I think it's just a girl thing). Still I'll get those texts while I'm at work "blog photos tonight?" or he'll wake up on Saturday mornings and literally go over the day's plans and sees where we can squeeze in the time, without me asking. We've been late a million times to a million things because I'll make him pull over to snap a few outfit pictures. And amazingly, no complaints (well none that matter, hahaha).

So again, thank you so much for stopping by my blog! You make my day every single day!

Lime green is not a recurring colour in my closet, but i couldn't resist snatching this blouse when my girlfriend was giving it away. I love a loose-fitting, lightweight yet still well structured blouse. It can be paired with pretty much any basic in a neutral colour to make an effortless pulled together look.

I've definitely been into light colours the last few days. This top didn't photograph perfectly, but the colour is a light peach tone, which I'm currently obsessed with. The leather jacket ads a soft edge (and also warmth when necessary) which helps take it from day to night. Easy, breezy spring outfit. Have a wonderful weekend!

I certainly couldn't do cream and white without some sort of pop of colour. Perfect reason to bring out these neon beauties for the season (and I just love these shoes way too much). Something about light colours feels refreshing this time of year. I got this light, flirty lace skirt from H&M just this past weekend and I already know it's going to be one my favourite, most worn pieces of this summer. Cant' wait to create different looks with it.

I love a good transitional piece - much like this sweater. Because it's a knit, I can totally wear it in the winter months. It just brightens things up a bit (well a lot - but I love it!). And because of the neon yellow, I can wear it on cooler spring days and breezy summer nights. Speaking of spring/summer, is it just me or are you just a happier person this time of year? I'm currently working on a Summer Bucket List and it's getting me very excited. Can't wait to share.

I'm not one to really "match" my outfits, but I couldn't resist the different shades here. Sometimes a one tonal look is simply chic. I love the bright peach of this pencil skirt. It just steps it up a notch from the classic fitted pencil skirt. I'm going crazy for pencil skirts right now. I really want to find some with bold prints and interesting textures. I'm officially on the hunt.

I'll never get sick of these mint coloured jeans. I actually think mint might be creeping its way up my favourite colour list, close behind cobalt blue. Hmm... I wonder what the two would look like colour blocked. On another note, I need sunshine. Of the last 10 days I think we've had one day of sun. April showers are definitely messing with my mood (and making it hard to take outfit photos). Hopefully it doesn't last much longer.

I figured I should switch it up a bit from white jeans, but the look is still light and simple with basics. I'm currently loving the layering combination of jackets, particularly my leather jacket under this H&M vest. I will definitely be trying it out with denim jackets, blazers, and everything else with sleeves in my closet. Lastly, I'm so happy its pastel jeans season - my favourite season of the year (after bare legs weather, of course).

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great long weekend. Mine pretty much got ruined Saturday morning when I woke up with a terrible cold. But I still had to pull it together for Easter Sunday Brunch. In true spring fashion, I kept it fairly light with pastels and creams. I got these jeans pretty late last year, so i didn't get to wear them enough. I'm definitely not letting that happen again.

I wore this outfit on a semi nice day to run errands with the boyfriend and take the dog to the park and such. Something about a faux fur vest just makes me feel a little glam regardless of what's underneath it (yup - just gave that some thought, and I totally stand by it.). On a more important note, Happy Spring! Now if only someone could tell mother nature spring had arrived...

The snow is melting, the cold is letting up a bit and we get an extra hour of sunlight. Absolutely loving it. Not having to rush in outfit photos is definitely a bonus. I also decided to change my hair a little and take off some length. Even though it's a subtle change, I've been wearing it the same way for at least 6 or 7 years - so this is a major event. I can't wait to have some fun with it. I hope your week is going well!

Nothing feels fresher and more put together than a well fitting, comfortable blazer. The only thing that could possibly top that is one that's my favourite colour. I'm loving the timelessness of this look. It's a simple outfit because of the structure, but current because of textures and colour. I'm also just so excited to wear bright colours again. Spring cannot come soon enough it seems!
