How have I been?

It's been a long time since I had the chance to update this blog of mine. Been busy with the thing that I love doing and I've seen a couple of comments with my old posts and realized that there are a few people who would still visit my page. I've actually moved to Wordpress already. For the reason that Blogger doesn't have an iPad app. But surprisingly, a friend of mine told me that there's one already. I will still maintain my Wordpress account which is still linked to my FB and Twitter accounts. You may visit it at princelester.wordpress.com.

How have I been? Well, I would say that it has still been a challenging one for me. Stumbling blocks left and right. Decisions that I need to make and plans for the coming year 2013. I'm not gonna talk about my resolutions here but I am just so thankful with the people I work with. My second family. For the past months, I'd say it was quite a tough one for me. But with my mentors who never get tired of believing, I was pushed to overcome my limitations. I've never thought of doing things that I'm not capable of (which is what I have always thought so) but I WAS WRONG. Later I learned that doing the thing you think you can't possibly do was the best way to challenge yourself as you take that step to get out of your comfort zones. And yes, comfort zones. I hate them. But with my development as a Trainer at a BPO industry is something that I am so thankful about. I will never get to where I am today if not because of my mentors. I know that I am a mentor myself but every person who wanted to step up should look for one. I mean, seriously. I don't think I can do it just by myself. But of course, I'm not gonna forget the faith that I had with God as I journey along in this life. It's been an awesome adventure!

Looking forward for a more fruitful year this 2013. I know and I feel that there's something great in store for me. It takes another leap of faith for me to get there! Thanks again my fellow readers for taking time to read this. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Best of the Best 2012

Thankful. That's all I'm gonna say. If not because of the people who believed in what I'm capable of, I won't get to where I am today. Each day, there's always a lesson to learn and a role to play. I've always been a positive thinker, ever since. I may have been through a lot but it's with those experience that I get to learn how to be strong. Let me start with my parents, who encourages me to be the best that I can, to my friends who are always there to listen, to the team I'm in at work who are always very supportive and to God, who is always the source of my strength as I go through my journey in life.

But the adventure continues and it doesn't end there. A lot of things have to be done as I continue to move forward. There's still room for improvement as I go through maturity with my career. The door won't close as long as I will choose to be determined on reaching my goals. I will never get swayed if ever someone would turn me down but like what my mentors tell me, I should always choose to believe in myself.

Being a part of this event was really extraordinary! It felt great once again to be in front of many people recognizing all of what you've done best as I represent my team. I get to see different people from other teams who shared their hurdles and gave their best on meeting those targets. It takes a lot of sacrifices to be able to define how it is to be a part of the Best of the Best. I, myself, I am nothing. I always give the credit to the one who wrote the story of my life. God, that is. He's the reason why I've reached this far. Again, I will always and will remain thankful for all these privileges. And I will give my very best to be at the top of the game.

Finally. Had time to update my blog. With the busy schedules that I had, it was really a challenge to do the things you usually do. Time flies! It's been a great journey for me since I had this role with my career and that is exactly what I'm going to share about with this entry. Here goes...

I am just so amazed with how God moved in my life. He tremendously blessed me with so many things, not only just with material things, but with my day-to-day experiences. There will always be a lesson to learn each day. Being a trainer, a mentor, or a teacher, was never an easy thing to do. But when you get to realize if you're doing it with a purpose, with a heart that is so full of passion, everything else follows. With the recent success that I had, I learned that valuing your people I would say was one of the secret ingredients of effective leadership. Not only just by teaching them of what to do but learning from them as well. Checking on them every single day on how they are feeling, why do they seem sad or even when you're not seeing them smiling is something that we're missing at times. I believe in the power of motivation but based on what I have learned from John Maxwell's writings is that people need not to wait to be motivated in order for them to be at their best at all times, but challenging them to find ways on how they could be at the top of their game is something that should drive them to perform best. You can always be the starting point of their motivation but challenging them to change their perspective toward success by having a goal is something that really made sense to them. A goal is something you look forward to. A plan will never be a goal if no action was done to reach it. Questions like, "Why am I here for?" or "How do I see myself in the future?" are challenges that are left unanswered but contemplated on by many of us.

I am just so glad that my mentors are always there for me. No matter who I am, no matter what I've done or how tough it could get. They did not give up on me. I am just so thankful to have them. I have a lot to learn. Yes. I am always willing to learn. And part of it is to work on my character. I am not quite not in a level of maturity to understand some of things but I am just so happy that I have some of the qualities that a leader should have and that I need to maintain those. There will always be an opportunity to improve. And that is something that I love with this job, I do learn everyday. You take part on someone else's development and someone has to develop you for your competencies. Everyone has a role to play. That's the kind of team that I've always wanted.

Move forward. That's what I had to do. I will never be tired with this and I will always remain positive with the ups and downs of life. And with God on my side, I will get through all this.

The Tree of Life

Terrence Malicks works would probably one of the brilliant masterpiece when it comes to a movie like this. To some, they may thought of it as something creative or a work of art. To some it could be something boring. As I watch the movie, the first thing that came in to my mind was a question, "Is this another movie that speaks about what we believe in?" What I love with these kinds of movies is that it makes me think. I love movies that would make me think. And it's quite a challenge because it wouldn't be easy for you to digest a 2 hour and 18 minute movie when all you see was sci-fi and surrealist themes and imagery through space and the birth of life on Earth on the most part of the movie. But it was amazing! I've always been fascinated by space and nature. The movie somehow made me realize that it is impossible to not even think that there'd be no divine intervention with all these creations which is what made the story really moving. I am not going to share everything about the movie with this post but I highly recommend thihs movie. Bring your family! I believe this is the best part for your kids to start having this sensible conversation with regard to how we should live our lives. With how powerful love could be and with our existence, there's a God up there who sees everything. And not only up there, but in our hearts.

This is a movie that shouldn't be missed. It may seem simple but the message it has to every individual would be really powerful. One of my favorite lines in the movie was quoted by Mrs. O'Brien, "The only way to be happy is to love. Unless you love, your life will flash by." I really loved that part. So to those who hasn't seen it yet, go get some time and be with your families when you see this. I'd say this is the perfect gift for your Father's. I know this is too late but I wanna greet all the Fathers out there, a Happy Father's Day! Thank you for the time my fellow blog readers.

Each of us have our own goals in life. And with where I am now, I'd say that each day is always a success for me. If not with the people I know, i wouldn't get this far. Well, thing is, not everyday is an easy one for most us. I can say that with those obstacles along the way, I learned a lot from them. It is what mostly defines who I am today. I am just so thankful that God made me go through those difficulties to prepare me for a bigger battle ahead. The other one that made me step out of my comfort zones were my mentors. I'm pretty sure everyone has one. If you don't, go look for one. Like what I used to say, our mentors are one of our life's greatest treasures. Most of the time, they were around to give sound advice, correct our mistakes and learn from them and most of all, they're always there for you to realize your worth as an individual. Especially when we're talking about our contributions to any organization as a professional. I really can't thank them enough.

I have so many plans in the future. Plans that would define my future. And future is something we should all be concerned about. But these are not selfish plans but this should benefit most of the person I know in my life. It may not be easy at the start but at the end of the day, if each day we learn new things, we just have to see to it that we apply them in our daily lives.

And that's just one of the pieces of me for now. My life has been a tough journey, but it's the tough part that made me tough to prepare myself for the challenges ahead. And with all these accomplishments, I give it all back to the Creator and Author of my life for His glory!

There's a point in our lives where we always find ourselves reckless. Usually, with our decisions. And we accept the fact that the things that are new to us are fun and that we'll surely enjoy without having a better understanding or simply by taking risk. I, myself, loves adventures. But it never came to me the idea on how wild I might become with the things I wanted to do. So I choose not to, especially when my parents said no to whatever I wanted to pursue. One thing that made me go see this movie was it's a true story. I always go for a movie like this one.

Aron Ralston, an American mountain climber one day just left the house without letting anybody know where he's gonna be headed to. He did canyoneering in Utah, met two girls and made friends and left them after leading them to where they're going. Now while Aron (James Franco) is on his way to his destination, he find himself trapped by a boulder because of a sudden fall. With such bravery, realizing that he doesn't want to end his life that way, he made a sacrifice by amputating his lower right arm to free himself. And indeed, he is a hero for himself. And that greatly inspired me. That it's in those moments where you would have to make a decision for your life. A decision that would change everything. But in the end, he did not give up. He even had premonitions that became real at the latter part of his life.

When I first heard of this movie, I really got excited about it. And in fact, I was inspired to go try hiking sometimes. Like I said, I've always loved adventures! And as I see my life like a journey, I will always wish to try things that I haven't done before. Such curiosity that would bring me to the next level of my journey in life. Again, another extraordinary movie. This shouldn't be missed! And I swear, it's better to see this on big screen. Really worth it. And I would like to end this blog entry with a quote I got from it's movie trailer, not sure who quoted it but it's really really true. "There is no force on earth more powerful than the will to live."

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

C.S. Lewis never fails to amaze me with his writings. Though I didn't have that much time when it comes to reading books. So I haven't read the whole Chronicles yet. But I soon will when I had time to do it. My big thanks to those movie producers who made everything possible for bringing it to life. With the technology we have, everything's gonna be possible. With the movie tricks (as how they used to call it) and the effects, I salute them! Well, of course we know that there are a lot of changes when a book will be made to a cinematic experience. Because with these series, it takes imagination just so you can understand it.

With this 3rd installment, I knew it from the very start that it's really gonna be exciting. Though the other two aren't there - Peter and Susan. Edmund and Lucy are interesting characters I would say since The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. For they both have the most intriguing part of the story. Edmund seem to be surprised that he's back in Narnia but more excited that he ever was when he got back. Lucy in the same way was very happy that she's also back in Narnia. Their cousin Eustace though wasn't. For the reason that when Edmund and Lucy's telling him about the world of Narnia, he's always certain that the two are not really telling him of the truth. But soon as he got there, he's no way sure why or how did he get there, but in my mind, I know that there's a purpose for everything. Edmund and Lucy were also surprised when they finally saw their weapons again. Weapons that came from Aslan with extraordinary purposes. And as the story goes along, they both find themselves in a journey once again where they both had a important role to do to save Narnia from the hands of the enemy. Eustace in the other hand, never felt that he's got any part to save Narnia and in fact, still in disbelief that he really is in Narnia. But in the end, with Aslan's help, he finally realized what his purpose really is. Despite his character and with how he sees things, he's still given the chance to prove himself in an extraordinary way. I love how Reepicheep said it, "Extraordinary things only happen to extraordinary people."

Same thing with our lives. There may be a lot of unexpected circumstances that goes along our way. But at the end of the day, we would always realize that those things would make us stronger and wiser than ever before. It's always a learning process. Eustace learned a very important lesson that even with his character (being negative on things) made himself a worth that he himself never realize. The best part of the movie, of course, would always be the last part, it was when Lucy asked Aslan if they could meet him in our world and Aslan said, "Because there I have another name. You must learn to know me by that name. This was the very reason why you were brought to Narnia, that knowing me here for a little, you may know me better there." That was really just so beautiful. With every circumstances we go through in life, there's always a lesson to learn. And that is always been the exciting part of our lives. That we are all in a journey called life where there are a lot of surprises. God is full of surprises! And that had always been the case. God always has this way of bringing us to weird journeys and it's always up to us on how we look at it and deal with it. But God never fails to let us realize our own flaws and learn from them.

I absolutely rated this movie superbly! It's really worth to see it in 3D. I actually got excited about it because the previous installments we're just in 2D. So two thumbs up! I'm really happy that some of my friends, or even my cousins gave me a positive feedback about the movie. For they all, in the same way find the movie interesting. Though for some, they may need to dig in for them to fully understand the significances. Looking forward for more movie version of this series. I feel so ashamed of myself. I've never been this busy. I feel sorry for my blog. I admit that I have not been able to update my blog for a long time due to my schedules at work. Yeah, yeah. How come I'm active in Twitter. Lol. I think it's because Twitter's a microblog. How about Facebook? Well, same thing. I can almost update everyone with just snap on my Blackberry. Okay, enough about that. Time to go the very point of this blog and that is to share my journey last year.

There had been a lot of challenges in my life last year. I'm not saying that there's a point in my life that I haven't gotten one but life indeed is always full of challenges and I look forward to have more this year, in a sense that it would make me more stronger than what I've been. With my year 2010, everything seems to be so inspiring. I am always motivated by the people around me who believes in what I am capable of. It's what drives me to stay with the job I'm in and perhaps one of the things that define where I am right now was by having the right kind of perspective.

This year, would be different. All of what I'm hoping for will all come to life. And it really takes a leap of faith to reach all of my goals this year. Recently, I had my goal setting time with a cup of coffee and an inspiring book. And that greatly change the way how I see life once again. One of the advantages of having a goal in life is to provide a clear path of the things you wanna pursue. But then again, going back to what the scripture says, "many are the plans in a man's heart, but it's the Lord's purpose that will prevail." That's why I'm really making it sure that all of my plans are all in line in the will of God.

We all know that there are a lot of New Year resolutions in place, but if you're not determined enough to make them happen, what's the use of having one? I'm not gonna have any sort-of like a list of my resolutions this year, but with faith and a positive mind set, I'll surely do all of them in His time. And that's it, this is really gonna be a promising year! And I claim that! I'll keep those plans to myself for now and soon, will all make it happen!

The last month of the year.

It's been a long journey. Every year, I see my life as an adventure. Each day, is a lesson for me to learn. I've been living my life with a hope that one day I will see myself to the dream of who I really wanted to be. I am in charge of myself to reach the goals I have in life. I see to it that my faith is always checked upon that only God could determine what's best for me. I am always thankful with whatever happens to me on a daily basis. For I know that everything happens for a reason. Like I said, every day is a lesson to learn whether it's a failure or a success.

December. The last month of the year. The season where most people spend most of their times with their families. Catching up to the times when we never even had the chance to talk to them. In the next coming weeks, I'll be out of town to spend time with my family and myself. I'd say it's the time for me to relax. Another thing that I love when it's December was not only just the thought of giving presents but the blessings that we share to those people who are dear to us. We may not notice but people sometimes tend to do that just for the sake of the season. My point exactly is this, the heart of giving and being with our families, friends, etc could be done all throughout the year. It's just sad that we only do all these just because we're aware that it's December. I do admit that I lose contact to those people who are close to me. Perhaps with the same reason, being busy and all that because of your job. But the funny thing is, we had time to other stuffs.

So what am I trying to say here is this: Christmas is not only for December. Christmas should be a second nature to all of us. And we should all take part of whoever started the tradition of the things that we all normally do during this season. And this is probably one of my New Year's resolution. Friends, let's not just dwell on the fact that it's December, but to live the spirit of Christmas all year. I am so blessed to have my friends, my family, and mentors who are always there to cheer me up whenever I'm down and in every success I've had. I can't thank God enough! To Him I give all the glory!

EN2010 Come Together.

EN2010's got to be the biggest conference I have attended so far. And I am so overwhelmed to see different people from different countries across the planet who came just to gather and be in one accord and that is to honor God. There are so many things that happened on this 3-day conference. And let me tell you this, it's really worth it! And it's a great privilege for us as a country to host this big event that the world had witnessed. The conference was held at the SMX Convention Center beside the Mall of Asia. I met new friends and I get to invite some of my friends too!

One of the best things that happened to me in those 3 days was the time where everybody is all out in worship. We're all so passionate! And I am so blessed to the speakers they've invited. They're all so anointed and I've learned a lot so many things. I am really glad that I became a part of this. I am praying that as we reach the world, the difference should start in our own selves. And the message of this conference is that we're called to evangelize in every campus. I find this really challenging, for it takes commitment to be able to do this. Well, we actually have our own unique ways to share and plant seeds on to others. Again, I am so privileged that I was able to be a part of this conference. It was indeed a great blessing to me. INCEPTION (A Review)

Christopher Nolan did it again this time. A movie that's so extraordinary and mind blowing as what most people say. It did hit the top charts and trends, especially on Twitter. Got lots of friends who said the same thing about it, so deep to the point that you have to keep yourself awake all the time while watching it. They said it's kind of similar to this Matrix movie. But what interests me the most is that, could this possibly happen in real life? We all used to have dreams. I, myself, have experienced the exact same thing. I felt like I'm in a subconscious world. I felt like I'm awake in that dream. Unknowingly what might happen. Well the idea of this is that Inception means the beginning or the start of something. So imagine yourself in a dream and going in to another dream. Isn't that a bit frightening? Inception was based on the notion of "exploring the idea of people sharing a dream space - entering a dream space and sharing a dream. That gives you the ability to access somebody's unconscious mind. What would that be used and abused for? Thievery. Di Caprio's role here was a thief. He indeed take advantage of his skills just to get vital information on their subject. Well I don't want to be a spoiler, especially to those who hasn't seen the movie yet. All I'm saying is that this movie's really interesting and mind blowing. At first you thought it's gonna be simple. But not really. To be honest, I've seen it twice. And it's definitely worth to watch. Especially in digital cinemas. I look forward to see more Christopher Nolan movies. They're all by far great! And would require you to think when watching his films. So to those who hasn't seen it yet, go go go! You'll soon realize that it's a movie that you shouldn't miss. And I really recommend you to see it on big screen! Alright? So what are you waiting for? Hit the cinemas while the movie is still showing.

Asia Fest 2010 - EPICENTER

There are so many things to share about this Youth Conference I attended. With the 2 days we spent, we're so blessed to see young people from different churches from different parts of Asia to come together and give honor to His name! I am so privileged that I was given such opportunity to be a part of this.

One of the highlights of this event was the praise & worship moment. It was in that moment where I felt His presence so near once again. And I really enjoyed seeing so many youth jumping and shouting for His name. The moment where many of us cried, especially during altar calls and during free worship where everybody sings what they wanted to sing to show their love in Christ. Another was these 2 powerful guests, Ricardo Sanchez, a worship leader and a music director of Free Chapel Church, USA. He did an amazing thing with those nights of worship, especially when he sang the song, Power of the Cross. That moment moved me so much. And the song goes like this, "The Power of the Cross, is in the blood of Christ, given for us all, the spotless sacrifice. We are now redeemed, ransomed with his life, we have now received by grace, the greatest gift of love, the power of the cross." and the best part, "Nothing is missing, nothing is broken, now IT IS FINISHED, His blood has spoken. I am REDEEMED, I am set FREE, I am COMPLETE by the Power of the Cross." And that's the song, isn't it beautiful? And indeed he was an anointed worshiper. He also shared a testimony that greatly changed my perspective when it comes to on how I should see life. Same with Reggie Dabbs, he is such an anointed man of God, I never get bored whenever he speaks. He has a gift when it comes to the youth which I believe is what he's been called for to reach out. He also shared the story of his life which greatly inspired me too. And he also knows how to play trumpet.

And the best thing that ever happened to me on the night of the 2nd day was that HE CHANGED MY NAME! I am the new me and I'm a new being. I am no longer conforming to the patterns of this world but choose to be transformed on renewing my mind for Christ. And I am indeed so blessed to have my brethren in Christ who came all the way from the province of Bicol just to witness this event that is so significant in our lives. And here are some of the pics that I'd like to share.

I can't thank the Lord enough for their life. I can't imagine my life without them. They're part of my life's blessings. I am so thankful that I was there! Friends, thanks again for taking time to read this. I look forward to be a part of next year's Asia Fest! Toy Story 3

Probably one of the best 3D movies ever! I was really fascinated with the advancement of technology. You'll surely enjoy watching movies like this when kids were around laughing, sharing their own funny comments on each scene. I really had fun! I remember the first time I saw this movie, I began to recall how I love toys when I was a kid. Not to spoil you guys but the last part of the movie really made me cry. The toys that we buy as a gift to the little ones are supposed to give happiness and fun. Toys always has its way to develop creative minds and imagination. I remember in our Psychology class, I learned that in childhood, you'll know what interests the kid with the toys that they have. It greatly helps develop their creativity.

It's really worth it when you see the movie in 3D. Why? A movie that is full of animation would surely pay off if seen in 3D. You'll all surely enjoy it! I know most of you will say, well, it's just a movie for kids so why would I spend more? Well, I am encouraging you to see it in 3D! Especially if you'll see it with the kids.

Now, I'm guessing if there's still another part? What do you guys think? Does the series end on the 3rd installment? Well, I wish there's still more! Looking forward to the 4th installment. Best of the Best. Team 8 Mile @ Punta Fuego

We did it again! Team 8 Mile for the second time. Our team got the title for being this year's Best of the Best! One of the things that I really love with the company I'm in is that they know how to recognize people. That in every effort and sacrifice, there's the reward. I am really proud that I got in to this team. With each and everyone's contribution, we made it to this recognition event. And not only that, we even enjoyed Punta Fuego which is in Nasugbu, Batangas even if it's the second time. Well, we have some of our new team mates with us and I hope they enjoyed too. I would like to commend my ever supportive team leader, Carmen Zantua, who's always there to encourage and push us to give our best. It pays to aim higher. I know there's a long way ahead of us. But I'm just so thankful that we had this chance to do bonding and enjoy every moment we spent. I am so looking forward for you guys to give the best shot for next year and be a part of the Best of the Best again. To my avid readers of my blog, I thank you. Just wanted to share this experience. Oh, man! This movie’s really awesome! You may be wondering as to why the movie’s entitled Karate when it’s taped on China. Well, if you’ll watch the movie, you’ll see why. It’s actually a film remake. Directed by Harald Zwart and produced by Will Smith. Jaden Smith really kicked ass on this movie! And he really really looked like his Dad when acting. Really talented. A very promising actor in Hollywood. I’m planning to see this movie again. And oh, how can I forget Jackie Chan! I’ve always been a BIG fan of him! Whenever I heard a movie with JC, it’s always the best! You guys should see this movie. It’s worth it! And one of the many reasons why I like this movie so much? It’s been in my dream to visit China someday! Such a beautiful place! Well, if I were given the chance to be a kid again, I would love to learn martial arts. Kung Fu or Wushu, Karate and Taekwondo. There's something in these martial arts that will definitely change you as a person. It's not only just the cool moves, perhaps for self-defense, but it's the kind of discipline you'll learn from it. How about the moral value of this movie? Well, I always remind myself to always keep focused. To stay FOCUS is probably one of the best ways to keep yourself determined on reaching your goals in life. I like how Jackie Chan said it on the movie, "Kung Fu is everything." The movie also emphasizes the importance of one's attitude towards things, which greatly affects who you could become. And lastly, DISCIPLINE. Nothing beats Kung Fu's discipline, well in my own opinion. You may be the smartest but if you failed to discipline yourself, which molds one's character, knowledge is useless. I don't wanna spoil this much about the movie but you guys should really see this film remake. I don't care what other people think about the old movie but I seriously wanna see this movie again.

Okay. I finally had the chance to update my blog again after a looooong time. I know I owe you guys a lot but thankfully, here I am. Got something to share.

It is sad to see a country where everybody wants to be servants. Well, not really all but.. somewhat quite a number. But some would say that to become a leader is to first become a servant. But being branded as a nation of servants is kind of, well, if you're a Filipino, you know what I'm talking about. What I'm saying is this, do we still know how to dream? And not just a dream but a BIG dream! A dream that is more than just winning the lottery, being a millionaire and being famous. But a dream that one day this nation would rise again from the slump.

Slaves. Well that was a thousand years ago. But with what's happening now? We're more than that as a people. I dunno where this leads but my heart is just broken. Broken in a sense that one day, I find myself whole again. KALAYAAN. Masasabi ba na kami ay malaya? (FREEDOM. Should we consider ourselves free people?) I know this is too much to ask. Others may say, that the question is more of a statement. For it's been years now. And yet, we're still asking the same question. And that's what broke my heart.

Our fellowmen may consider that we're free but what kind of freedom do they think we have? Freedom of speech? To express all things we wanted to rant about. If you feel uncomfortable reading this then stop. But my heart was just simply broken for my people. If I could only do something just for them to realize how great we are as a nation, I would really do. Question is, after writing this blog, what's next? How then should I make a difference? Well, I would say that even in this very simple way, I think I am.

My point exactly is this, INDEPENDENCE DAY isn't just a holiday. Not even a celebration. But a reminder that we, as a people of this nation of ours, to bring back what has been lost a long time ago. I'd say, generations. And it's really alarming how we call ourselves FREE but we know nothing about true freedom. I, myself can attest to that. We've been locked up. With chains. Generation after generation. So for now, all I wanted to impart to this next generation is to strive real hard for the future of the next. And yes, it is a very big task and a responsibility. A responsibility of a lifetime. Independence day is there for us to realize how we conquered once from being a colonized country. A day where we finally find peace. And that is to start a new beginning. Well, it's not too late for a change. God may have intended this to happen because something great is going to happen with this nation. And I pray that one day, this nation will rise. KALAYAAN.

Touching Heaven. Changing Earth.

It is indeed a great night of worship when the people from all walks of life had gathered to lift up His name. I may sound too religious but I was just really amazed that night. I just had an appointment with my doctor that same week when this chest pains attacked me for me not to be able to do the things that I wanna do. It was really hard that time. I can't even do my job that very well. The doctor diagnosed me and told me that it's because of too much stress. Well, I guess I shouldn't be blaming myself to be too dedicated with my job. I just failed to balance everything. I've completely forgotten my health. It is once said in the Scripture that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. And so it is our sole responsibility to take good care of it. And I did just that. Then came the day. The 20th of April, and it's a Tuesday. My mom didn't want me to go cause I've abused my body so much and rather just stay home and rest. But deep inside of me is telling me to go to this concert which I really do not know why.

So I did. I made it. I went. With my friend, Shenna. We both went not because we both are a big fan of this band and lady, Darlene Zschech. She's such an annointed worshipper. I couldn't just think of anything but she really is a blessing to the world. Imagine the days she had travelled just to reach out the whole planet and spread His love to all of us. She was just an amazing worshipper. A mother. And a pastor. A faithful servant. The message that came to her that night was this: Two words. Righteousness and Praise. Whatever it is that God had told her, it is indeed an amazing perspective on how this nation should move forward. With righteousness and praise. It was really an unforgettable night for many of us. I never regret myself on going that night. In fact, the chest pain's gone now. And I just can't explain the feeling of what HE had done in my life. That night, when she said that by the stripes of His blood, I am healed. And it did happen. I thank God for that. He was really an awesome God. And lastly, what this servant of God made realize is this: All of the things that we're doing in our lives, no matter how busy we may become, we do it for the glory of God! Worship is not only just by singing our praises and dancing, but it is in all of what we do in a daily basis. We all do it for His name to be glorified. Dear reader, I thank you for your time. May you find ways on how you could worship our Creator and author of life with whatever you do in life. God Bless you.

Our Team Building in Zambales

This is Team 8 Mile. We name our teams at work after the movies. And we name ours 8 Mile. We're not really a big fan of Eminem, we just love the idea of being ahead of everyone. And I really hope that we could make it happen. Almost everybody has this sense of competition. So if you're not that competitive enough, then you're not certain of where you're headed to in life. Each of us has their own goals. We should just learn how to keep ourselves abreast with sacrifice. It takes sacrifice to attain your goals in life. I love my team so much, I just thought that we all deserve a very wonderful vacation. It may not be the best but we enjoyed it so much. The fun, the excitement, the adventure. Everything.

This is me. Relaxing. (left) I've been waiting for this moment to come. I really love vacations! And it has never been this good. And the next pic (below) is one of the best shot I've ever had with the sunset. I love sunsets too! It makes me feel so hopeful for tomorrow.

I just can't explain what happened with me today. It's just so unexplainable. The feeling where somebody's comforting you. But that person's no way around you but you just feel it. That's His presence. And you'll surely know it once you felt it before. Encountering the presence of God has never been that easy.

That afternoon, I decided to go to Tagaytay and spend time with myself. You know, to relax and have fun. I guess. But there must be something more than what I have ever thought of that day. And that is to think, and spend time with the Creator. Of everything. Now, my point exactly. I prayed.

Prayers. Is what most people forget to do. Especially when they're down. Lonely. Hopeless. Sad. But here's the thing, I know there are so many ways to escape from all of the realities of life. But spending time in prayer is a lot more different than just relaxing and being on a peaceful environment. What I had just realized is that doing it on a mountain is crucial. For I really felt the presence of God so near. It's like, I had forgotten all of my worries, problems, burdens, you name it. I suddenly felt the feeling of being freed from all of your miseries.

Here I'll share a pic with the rainbow. (below) It was such a wonderful thing to see rainbows. Well, it's drizzling at that time so no wonder. But hey, it really made me feel better. For it reminds me of God's promise. And a Promise is something that we all long for to happen.

It was just so amazing. This rainbow that I saw must be a sign or something. It's a PROMISE. I can't help myself but sometimes I realize that one has to be like a child to seek the will of God. And that is with FAITH. It was just so beautiful. It's actually drizzling at this point of time. And the sun's hiding. And the next pic that I'll be posting next was about the sunset. We know how beautiful a sunset is. And the significance? For me it brings hope. It renews the inner strength in me. And it gives me the hope that I always long for.

And look at that sunset. Lovely. I’ll miss Tagaytay again. That moment with myself. Yes, just me! Was unforgettable. I really had this chance to have this personal talk to the Creator of all. I almost cried. Friends, we should all try to have this moment, even for just one time in your life. It really makes you feel stronger than the way you were. PRAYER changes everything. In HIS perfect time. And if you would only BELIEVE.

Paramore Thrilla in Manila!

The concert was indeed a successful one. We really had a blast! The energy of the band just amazed me. I haven't known Paramore for that long but I really liked and loved their songs. Sometimes people are just particular with how the music may sound. But for me, music is far more than that. I love the way Hayley and the the rest of the band compose their songs. They have this passion in them that made them really cool with their music. That night proves that they really are passionate with what they are doing.

Sad though, Josh, one of the lead guitarist/bassist in the band, busy with his wedding plans. But I really did enjoy the night. With the people screaming, jumping and headbanging (Lol) It was such an unforgettable night for me. I've been waiting for this night for a long time and it did happen. Thanks to those people who demanded them on coming here. Hayley, with the band, find our country very warm with the way we welcome them. And of course, literally, summer is already felt in the Philippines right now.

The other thing that made me sad, the band CallaLilly performed, I dunno why the crowd's making fun of them, making them feel that they can't wait for Paramore to be on stage, I mean, that's just so sad. They were given that chance to show off what they got, so what's wrong with that? I mean, that's the big problem that we, Filipinos are not seeing. We do not support our own bands, that's why very few made it to show off themselves on other countries. Unless we start loving our own, there's really no way for us to be competitive on the global stage. Just a thought. An opinion but a strong one. (sigh) Oh well, I guess I would say the night was really fantastic, despite the sweat and all that, we really enjoyed it so much! I thank my sister and my cousin on accompanying me. It was really a blast! Again, for Paramore, I would really be happy if you guys come back here! Bon Voyage!

I finally had the chance to do a review about a particular movie that I just saw today. This movie indeed was brilliant, for its not only just a true story but it's really beautiful. I'm not really into politics but I find this movie very inspiring. I'm also not really into sports but I always love movies ending in victory.

What really struck me the most was how in the world a man who spent 30 years in prison and come out and forgive the men who did it to him and even serve the country that he really loved. It is with the heart of a leader which I believe personally is the secret of a nation's greatness. This movie rekindled my sense of patriotism. I wish most of my fellow kababayan would see this movie as well. To let them see how important being united in color and creed is for a nation to be great.

Life is what you make it.

I am so thankful with the months that had passed. Indeed, He is always faithful to those who are in the same way faithful with Him. I've got lots of plans though in my life ahead. For I know He's the only who could show me the way to that path I should be headed to. There may be a lot of obstacles along the way, but I never lose hope. For I know that in every sacrifice I make, a reward is always on its way. I am so privileged to have people around who are always there to encourage me on believing myself. I can't imagine my life without them. Friends, former schoolmates, colleagues, and my relatives.

What I'm most concerned about right now is on how to use most of my energy on things that would make up of who I can become someday. I know that I already have my job while I'm studying but, there's more than what meets the eye. Simply, I wanna make a difference. But how could I possibly do that. Was it just a career? Like developing people? Encouraging them on what they are capable of doing? There are so many things to mention about. But if I come to think of it, I've realized that with what I am doing right now is something in preparation of what I could do to make a difference possible.

Right now, I am just hopeful on everything. I don't expect for it might end frustrating myself. So I keep myself abreast with the will of God, I would certainly know how to figure out the best of my capabilities which in turn would help find the way on searching what I could do to make everything happen in my life.

Movie Review: "AVATAR rocks!"

Just saw this movie today! The movie had exceeded my expectations of a sci-fi film. But the great thing about this movie was, it's not only just a sci-fi kind of thing, it has adventure, action, drama, love, you name it. And while I'm watching it, I can't help but think of the deeper thought of every scene. I always have that kind of attitude that in every movie, it's more than what meets the eye! I've been hearing things that this movie was just a derivative to the story of Pocahontas. But I don't really care, it's the way the movie was delivered and it's really worth to watch it in 3D. We had the chance to see it today in IMAX. And it was really awesome. Hope Cameron could produce more films like this. I know it really takes major effort when it comes to producing such movies, but I've been dreaming for the filmmakers here to also learn the true essence of what drives a director to produce a movie like that.

I've learned so many things in this movie. First, we should be more aware that nature itself cared for us in the very beginning which God created for all of us, so it's our job as humans to take care of it. Second, the movie speaks about what Unity could do to win a battle. It applies in all areas of this reality, one example is that everything is made possible by not just thinking on your own but by getting ideas from other people, which is what Cameron did when the movie is being produced when I saw one of his interviews. It is the people around us who would give us the inspiration to be more productive. Third, Love conquers everything. If you've seen the movie, you'll get what I mean. Fourth, greed or even selfishness is nothing but crap in a personality. Fifth, no matter how loser we may become, we could still be somebody if we only know and learn how to believe in ourselves. Sixth, no matter how mad we may become to somebody but there's always a chance for reconciliation if we'll learn from our mistakes. Seventh, Education is the key to success. And where in the movie was that? Remember when the scientist Grace offered to teach the young Navis in Pandora. Eighth, it takes Courage to conquer everything. And lastly, there's this Divine thing whom we could always call upon for help. Same with our faith in God, it takes a leap of faith for our prayers to be answered. Seventh, it is with Science where we could discover so many things.

So, to wrap this up. I gave this film a 5 star. It really amazed me! Looking forward to see movies like this in the future. For a movie buff like me doesn't settle for a movie that is just with a common storyline but with something far from the usual.

Tech Review: My Windows 7

Windows 7 is by far impressive. I'd say speed had really improved, and when it comes to its interface, the quality is exceptional. You can easily pull up a program by just simply pinning them on the taskbar. Everything is simplified. And if your computer supports the Windows Touch, you could just simply touch your computer screen to drag files, resize a photo or map or quickly scroll through your files. It also has the feature similar to zapgrab, and its called the snipping tool where you could just get the cutout of almost all images you come across. It also has the sticky notes which you could just post in your main desktop screen. You could also easily snap a window, a simpler way to compare/share two open windows. And best of all, the Windows Media Center was way cooler than any other previous versions of Windows. And the best thing about the PC's that you recently bought, you could just get a free upgrade of this operating system. But the only eligible are the ones that has Vista before. So, that's pretty much what I can share so far with Win7. What are you waiting for? See for yourself!
