We decided to rent out the property due to our transfer to (West Africa) on a Missionary Work because, in a church here named World Mission, so we are renting it out since we need someone to take good care of the property on my absent. Don't be surprise if you find the home with another site and different price, I have plan to rent it through Real estate before, but they are not serious simply because they have a lot of house to lease out, And they added some money to the rent while there commission is not fair.

Have this in mind you must know the kind of person that i am, But nevertheless i am giving you this rules because of what corresponded between me and my last tenant. the keys and documents are with us here in West Africa... So i will need to ship them to you before you can occupy the house, But you can drive by the house anytime to take a look at the area and surrounding, you can also peek through the windows if you don't mind.

Hello. Over half of the car ads on Craigslists are from scammers. I would flagged these ads but there are too many. But, I found this great site that email spam to the scammers.

Another option to frustrate scammers, I would report these scammers to photo sites where they post their albums and have the fake car photos removed so that the scammes CL posting would be blank. Net, the only way to slow down car scammer is use technology against them.

Another trick is to sign scammers up for Viagra, etc using their email account.

I was selling an item on Craigslist for $400. A person by the name of "William Sandra" contacted me. This person completed the sale through email and sent me a check with "Mover Funds Added" and told me to "Send excess mover funds via MoneyGram at Wal Mart" to a random address. Turns out, the check came in for $2,350 and I took it to the bank and the police and it is a scam! NEVER ACCEPT ANY KIND OF PAYMENT ON CRAIGSLIST EXCEPT CASH/ MONEY ORDER. Also, if a buyer will not contact you personally (Via phone/ personal email), be cautious. A human who is legitimate will not care to talk to you. A scammer will avoid you. Hope this helped someone!

I got a check for over $2000 they asked me to cash the check and send the rest of the money to either the painter, financial advisor, mover, or whatever. They ended up draining my bank account, and now I owe the bank, I am embarrassed that I fell for this. They also ask for full name, address, phone number, age, dob, married/single, etc.. Saw your blog and we think we've got some scammers to add to your list. We posted an Airstream for sale/trade and Received 2 Email's by 5:07 + 5:08 a.m by CA time (fishy already) from 2 different addresses and we had the feeling its a scam. when we opened the first Email we saw a brief message with a Hotmail address trying to get us curios to Email back and the rest of our add. Funny & sad people full for that.

Scammers use Thomas Bar and Anita Borden Foundation as Alias for Attempted Scam

I posted tires on craigslist and got txt from a number... 6502650119. Wantin to purchase paying via certified check that he was going to fedex. Ofcourse he was goin to send extra money that I was to wire money for shipping. I almost fell for it. I came across this site while investigation it. He claimed his name was robert ankney. The signature on check was thomas bar****, I could not make out rest of name.

There was another name or place on check. It was the anita borden foundation which is a charity for kids with cancer. Everything was legite by looking at check. The foundation and address was correct, the bank address was correct, the routing number of check was correct.

I called the bank which was city national bank in california and read the numbers to them on the check. The acct number was fake.

This scum bag was trying to purchase tires from me for 800, offered to throw in 50 extra for my trouble with shipper. The check was for 2750, 1900 extra. The catch to all this is u deposit check and the bank by law has to make money available in 2 days.

This does not mean the check came back good. It can take 2 wks for check to clear, in this case I would have sent money and 2wks later my acct would hav been 2800 in the red. It would hav been my responsibilty to pay back and the bank could bring on legal charges also. Even after calling him out and telling him I would be waiting for check to clear, he still tryed to play it off like it was legit. He's pretty convincing so beware all
