[f(x)] ‘Electric Shock’ MV breaks through 7.2 million views

2012-06-15T20:04:00.001-07:00

Girl group f(x)‘s new song ‘Electric Shock’ is all the buzz.

On June 12th, f(x) released the music video for the second mini album title song ‘Electric Shock’. The music video broke through 7.2 million views in just 3 days truly reflecting f(x)’s popularity.

The new music video maximizes the visual effects. The blond hair, the color contacts, the geometric patterns on the outfit and accessories truly draw the eyes. The visual helped the music video appeal to the fans all over the world.

In the latter part of the song, the melody and lyrics that say

‘Nanananananana, Electric Shock’ is addictive. The strength of the electric sound seems to speak for f(x)’s push for something new.

‘Electric Shock’ is an electronic pop dance song that compares the feeling of love to an electric shock. The lyrics speak of the confusion in love that also seems enjoyable.

[SUPER JUNIOR] Kyuhyun scores Hyorin’s phone number on ‘Radio Star’

2012-06-13T19:49:00.002-07:00

Sistar member Hyorin handed over her number to Super Junior member Kyuhyun on TV.

On the June 13th installment of MBC’s ‘Radio Star’, Hyorin handed her phone number to
MC Kyuhyun right on the spot.

On the program, Kyuhyun revealed that he asked for Hyorin’s number trying to set up a get-together for ‘Immortal Song 2′ and got Hyorin’s manager’s number instead.

Kyuhyun said, “Hyorin gave me her manager’s number instead of her cell phone number” and Hyorin explained flustered, “It was a short while after I debuted so the (management) company was very nervous. I wanted to go but at the company somehow they knew already and told me not to go.”

The MC’s took the opportunity to hand a piece of paper to Hyorin encouraging her to give Kyuhyun her number.

Hyorin looked flustered but still wrote down her number on the piece of paper and handed it to Kyuhyun bringing laughter on the set and to the viewers.

[SNSD] trainer reveals the exercise method behind Tiffany’s legs

2012-06-13T18:54:00.003-07:00

The exercising method that helped to make Girls’ Generation Tiffany‘s luxurious legs has been revealed.

On the 13th, Girls’ Generation’s trainer, Kim Ji Hoon, made an appearance as a guest on SBS‘s ‘Good Morning’ and began training Lee Hye Jung.

Kim Ji Hoon started the training by saying, “I’m going to

introduce the 5:3:2 exercising method that made Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany shapely legs.”

He continued, “5:3:2 is the ratio that will most beautifully show off your legs. Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany maintains her legs using this method. [The method] can affect many muscles in the lower body. It is an exercise that can stimulate each small region, one by one. I made it [in an attempt to] create an exercise method that is fun to perform.”

Kim Ji Hoon proceeded to then demonstrate the 5:3:2 exercise method, which involves running in place while moving your legs side to side five times, and then repeating, but moving your legs from front to back the second time around five times.

Check it out for yourself on the latest episode of ‘Good Morning’!

[Wonder Girls] RVSP for the Wonder Girls Wonder Party!

2012-05-27T21:46:00.001-07:00

Have you RSVP’d for the Wonder Girls‘ comeback? Wonder Party, the girls’ first mini-album since the premiere of their Nickelodeon TV special and their promotions for “Be My Baby” last November, will finally drop on June 3.

Both photo teasers appeared with the captions “The Wonder Girls invite you to the Wonder Party.” The first featured Yenny (Ye Eun) and Sohee, while the second included Yubin, Sun (Sunye) and Lim (Hyerim). Both pics have a very spontaneous-club-snapshot vibe, framed by floresent tube lighting.

Fan-recorded footage from the music video shoot kept Wonder Girls followers abuzz last week. On set there was a massive flash mob and the Girls donned bright neon colors. Judging from the audio in the footage (which didn’t feature the girls’ voices and may only be there for timing purposes), the title track for Wonder Party will be further from their usual retro style and much more club friendly, similar to
“Act Cool” from Wonder World.
In addition to gearing up for album promotions, the girls are also preparing for their concert this July. A representative from JYP was quoted saying, “The Wonder Girls members are looking forward to regularly promoting in Korea as well as their upcoming concert. The members are all preparing hard and we hope that everyone truly looks forward to what they will bring. Also, we hope that much love will be shown for the Wonder Girls’ first solo concert in three years.” (via Newsen)

[Wonder Girls] Comeback on Same Day as Big Bang and Hold Concert in July

2012-05-23T05:48:00.004-07:00

Two of Korea's popular idol groups, Big Bang and Wonder Girls, plan to reveal the songs of their upcoming album on the same day.

On June 3, Wonder Girls will reveal their new album, and on the following day, the album will be officially released for sell. An official of JYP Entertainment commented, "Wonder Girls have put a lot of effort into the new album so please show them a lot of support and interest." It has also been announced that Wonder Girls will be having their very own concert on July 7 at
an Indoor Sports Stadium in Jamsil, Seoul - this will be their first solo concert in three years.

As reported earlier, Big Bang will also reveal their special album, "Still Alive," on June 3 and will officially release the album for sell on June 6. According to a representative from YG Entertainment, the new album consists of songs produced by both G-Dragon and Choi Pil Kang, including "Monster" (title song), "Still Alive", "Feeling", "Bingeul Bingeul", and "Ego," in addition to their fifth mini album that featured songs such as"Blue", "Fantastic Baby", "Bad Boy", and "Love Dust."

This news has garnered a lot of attention, because it is rare in Korea for two prominent idol groups like Big Bang and Wonder Girls to make a comeback on the same day. Even though many see this as a battle between Wonder Girls and Big Bang for the number one spot on the music chart, some also see this as a battle between the CEO's of JYP and YG Entertainment, Park Jin Young and Yang Hyun Suk. Whose comeback are you more excited about?
