Is The “N” Word Alright To Use?

Apparently yesterday there was a huge row between Elizabeth and Whoopi over the use of the “N” word.

I normally don’t RIDE for Elizabeth at all but real talk, she had great points and I think that she had the better logic. I mean I’m just saying it’s like a battered woman saying, “Oh! Don’t worry about him hitting me! I’m taking back my life and the abuse so now when he hits me, child, I’m reclaiming my glory!” Wouldn’t you look at her sideways??

He is set to join Matt Dillon and rapper T.I. in the film Bone Deep.

RnB star Chris Brown is all set to take a break from his singing career to work in a movie.

He is in final negotiations to join Matt Dillon and rapper T.I in a new thriller Bone Deep, about a group of criminals who plan a major heist at a money depot with two detectives hot on their trail, thesun.co.uk reports.

Twilight Zone: Family Served Urine-tainted Food At KFC

A police officer and his family have won $40,000 in their lawsuit against a restaurant that had served them food tainted by an employee’s spit and urine.

A jury on Friday ruled in favor of Sidney police Officer Keith Andrew, whose two sons, then 4 and 7, were sickened by the food they ate at a KFC/Taco Bell in October 2005. Sidney is a town of about 6,000 in western Nebraska.

The younger boy became violently ill with gastroenteritis and dehydration, vomited for hours and was forced to spend time in a hospital, the family’s lawsuit said.

Workers who saw a fellow employee taint the family’s food reported it to management, but the managers didn’t inform the family, the lawsuit alleged.

The suit also alleged that Andrew, his wife and their children were victims of an employee scheme that targeted police officers.

“Employees maintained ’special servings’ of food reserved for … officers,” the lawsuit said. “The ’special servings’ had been urinated in or spit in by KFC/Taco Bell employees.”

I’m a bonafide ’80s baby so when I heard that Pretty Ricky reinterpreted H-Town’s classic “Knockin’ Tha Boots” I had to see for myself.

I have my own thoughts but I had to ask, whose version is better? Pretty Ricky’s or H-Town’s? Let it be known!

P.S. Can someone tell me what is going on at starting at the 1:10 mark in the Pretty Ricky video? Can’t compute!

Well, I will say that there’s no way this is going to fly over here until gas goes WAY down, banks stop folding, mortgages go back to normal and folks aren’t struggling just to put food on the table…

Japanese movie fans are booking up new luxury box seats which, for nearly $300, come with a glass of champagne to get the reel going.

Shinjuku Piccadilly, a new cinema complex in Tokyo is offering “platinum” seating for 30,000 yen ($278) per film, at which movie-goers can enjoy a private box furnished with custom-made Italian leather sofas and a surround sound system.

“We started taking orders yesterday, and we already have several bookings,” said a spokesman for the cinema complex.

To complete the V.I.P. experience, customers have their own entrance, a private elevator and a secluded waiting room, the spokesman said.

Nice to see that Japan’s economy is doing fine. BALLIN’!
