Di dalam sebuah laut, tinggal satu keluarga ikan yang hidup aman dan damai. Keluarga ikan ini terdiri daripada ibu dan tiga ekor anak-anaknya. Anak ikan ini bernama Lala, Lulu dan Lolo.

Lala dan Lulu merupakan anak ikan yang baik dan selalu menurut perintah ibunya. Lolo merupakan anak yang paling kecil, nakal dan selalu bertindak mengikut kata hati. Walaupun Lolo merupakan anak yang nakal, dia tetap disayangi oleh ibunya sama seperti Lala dan Lulu.

Suatu hari, ibu ikan mengajak anak-anaknya mencari makanan di kawasan yang berhampiran dengan rumahnya. Ibu ikan hanya membawa anak-anak di kawasan yang selamat sahaja. Hal ini kerana terdapat satu kawasan yang sering dikunjungi pemancing. Jika mereka ke kawasan tersebut, nyawa mereka akan terancam

Keesokan harinya, Lolo mengajak kuda laut keluar bermain dengannya. Lolo dan kuda laut bermain di kawasan yang berhampiran dengan rumah mereka. Setelah puas bermain di situ, Lolo mengajak kuda laut menemaninya untuk pergi ke tempat larangan yang dikatakan oleh ibunya. Tujuan Lolo kesana adalah untuk mengetahui apakah yang terdapat disana.

Tetapi kuda laut tidak mahu mengikut Lolo ke sana walaupun telah dipujuk oleh Lolo. Akhirnya, Lolo membuat keputusan untuk pergi bersendirian.

Setelah sampai di sana, Lolo terus meninjau seluruh kawasan larangan tersebut Pada pandangan pertamanya, tempat tersebut tidak berbeza dengan mana-mana tempat yang pernah dikunjunginya.

Lolo menghabiskan masanya dengan meneliti setiap sudut tempat tersebut. Tidak berapa lama kemudian, Lolo pun ternampak banyak makanan. Makanan itu sebenarnya adalah cacing yang tersangkut di mata kail. Tanpa berfikir panjang, Lolo terus makan cacing tersebut kerana perutnya terlalu lapar.

For this year event, the games are being held in Delhi, India, from 3 to 14 October 2010. The 2010 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony will be held on 3rd October at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. The opening ceremony is very interesting. There will be a lot of musical extravaganza consisting many Indian and foreign artists. There will be also a lot of fireworks. Many celebrities from sports, bollywood and politics will address the gathering people and athletes. The event will be inaugurated with the presence of President of Indian Olympic Association.

What is fasting??

Fasting is a period of abstinence from all food or specific items. Fluids are consumed in sufficient quantity to satisfy thirst and physiologic requirements. During the absence of food, the body will systematically cleanse itself of everything except vital tissue. Starvation will occur only when the body is forced to use vital tissue to survive. Although protein is being used by the body during the fast, a person fasting even 40 days on water will not suffer a deficiency of protein, vitamins, minerals or fatty acids. In the breakdown of unhealthy cells, all essential substances are used and conserved in a most extraordinary manner. There is an unwarranted fear of fasting that strength diminishes from the catabolism of proteins from muscle fibers. Even during long fasts, the number of muscle fibers remains the same. Although the healthy cells may be reduced in size and strength for a time, they remain perfectly sound.

 
Why fasting??

Probably the most important reason is that the body uses quite a bit of energy to digest food, and when fasting this energy becomes available for other uses. In the fasting state, the body will scour for dead cells, damaged tissues, fatty deposits, tumors, abscesses, all of which are burned for fuel or expelled as waste. The elimination of these obstructions restores the immune system functionality and metabolic process to an optimum state.  Fasting restores good digestion and elimination, and peristaltic action is quickened. Fasting allows a deep, physiological rest of the digestive organs, and the energy saved goes into self-healing and self-repairing. By eliminating obstructions, by cleansing, detoxification, and purifying the intestines, the blood, and the cells, we can overcome many of our physical ills or handicaps as well as getting a boost in energy. Fasting not only removes obstructions and helps the body to heal itself, it is also rejuvenating and life-extending. These resulting benefits can have lasting affects in your mental and emotional health.

Bawang Putih is left alone to be tortured by her cruel stepmother and half-sister. Though Bawang Putih suffers, she is patient. One day, when she is out in the woods, she sees a pond containing a live fish. The fish is able to speak, and tells her that it is her mother who has came back to comfort her. Bawang Putih is overjoyed to be able to speak with her mother again, and secretly visits the pond whenever she can.

One day Bawang Merah sees Bawang Putih sneaking off and secretly follows her to the pond, where she witnesses Bawang Putih talking to the fish. After Bawang Putih leaves, Bawang Merah lures the fish to the surface of the pond and catches it. Bawang Merah and her mother kill the fish, cook it and feed it to Bawang Putih without telling her where it came from. Once Bawang Putih finishes eating, her stepmother and stepsister reveal where they obtained the fish. Bawang Putih is repulsed and filled with remorse over this revelation.

Bawang Putih gathers the fish bones and bury them in a small grave underneath a tree. When she visits the grave the next day, she is surprised to see that a beautiful swing has appeared from one of the tree’s branches. When Bawang Putih sits in the swing and sings an old lullaby, it magically swings back and forth.

Bawang Putih continues to visit the magic swing whenever she can. One day, while she is on the magic swing, a Prince who is hunting nearby hears her song. He follows the sound of her voice, but before he approaches her, Bawang Putih realizes that she is not alone, she quickly runs back home.

The Prince and his advisors eventually find the home of Bawang Putih and Bawang Merah. Bawang Merah’s mother, seeing the opportunity, orders Bawang Putih to stay hidden in the kitchen. The Prince asks about the swing and the girl who sat in it. Bawang Merah’s mother says that the girl he heard is her daughter Bawang Merah. Though the Prince agrees that Bawang Merah is beautiful, he requests that she show him how she sang in the magical swing.

Bawang Merah and mother reluctantly follow the Prince and his advisors back to the magic swing. Bawang Merah sits in the swing and attempts to sing so that it will move, but she cannot. The Prince, now angry, ordered Bawang Merah’s mother to tell the truth. Bawang Merah’s mother is forced to confess that she has another daughter hidden in her house.

The Prince brings Bawang Putih back to the swing, and as she had done many times before, the magic swing starts moving as soon as she begins singing. The Prince is overjoyed and asks Bawang Putih to marry him. She agrees and they live happily ever after.
