Since most of my fellow bloggers have already talked about baby pink, I'm gonna go the opposite way and blog about baby/pastel blue. I'm not a big fan of pink anyway. Both unusual colors for winter, both equally popular this season. Seen of the runways of Christian Dior, Elie Saab, BCBG Max Azria and many more high profile names in the fashion industry. Celebrities like Blake Lively, Miranda Kerr and Marion Cotillard seem to be fond of the trend too. Oh and let's not forget bloggers, they have embraced this trend as well. A new trend that has been spotted recently, especially popular since the September 2013 fashion weeks - white, pointy toe pumps. So far it has been seen on fashion icons, bloggers and celebrities. White for fall? I say yes! I've always believed in seasonal fabrics rather than seasonal colors, and you can make every color work as long as you use it as the statement piece in an outfit.

Trend Alert: Embellishments

Today's post is dedicated to an up-and-coming trend - embellished clothing items. Most of us discovered it a few weeks ago but it seems like Lanvin had this fun idea ahead of its time, as he featured embellished pieces in a collection in 2012. Now we've seen it on the runways of N°21, Miu Miu, John Richmond and the most recent - Burberry Prorsum's spring 2014 is filled with a variety of unique embellishment designs. Noon by Noor and Biyan are also amongst those who have embraced this trend and have a few must-see pieces in their latest collections as well.

I like this trend as it inspires me to try and do a DIY attempt of my one and I've been meaning to for some time now, but that will probably come later. So for me, it's definitely something I would enjoy and have fun with.

Hello people, how have you been? I am back after my standard break. I finally found ~~time~~ inspiration to make an outfit post on this bipolar summer day. Of course it had to start raining right after I put my sandals on, but I didn't let that affect me in any way and I just carried on :)
I picked a pretty basic outfit with a twist, the twist being the eye-catching shoes that I'm absolutely in love with. I like to keep my outfits as simple and clean as possible. Lately my style formula has been all basics + a statement piece, so I am not exaggerating with the jewelry on this one, one ring and ready to go. I was pretty happy with the way it turned out and I had an nice day, I hope you did as well.

This season's must have - a metallic pair of shoes or sandals, elegant and edgy at the same time, lighting up any outfit without much effort. I fell in love with this trend the moment I saw Vanja rock these heels combined in this breathtaking outfit on her blog, and I knew right then, I gotta have them. Many may consider this type of shoe a risky choice, but as you may know from my previous outfit posts, I'm one of the people who have embraced this fairly new trend, and so have some of the most popular bloggers, one of my favorites, Wendy's Lookbook, being one of them.

Unusual and daring. A combination of colors only for the brave. The fact that it's going against so many rules of fashion, may be the reason for it's popularity among the stars these days. I know many people out there don't get the idea, but I like it. I experimented a little bit yesterday, the photo is at the bottom of the post. Feel free to leave me opinions and critics in a comment, why you like or dislike this trend and why you should or shouldn't try to mix these two colors.

As I mentioned before, last Thursday I had the honor to attend Fashion Weekend Skopje SS13, to be a part of the madness that was going on backstage and to hang out with a lot of young, talented people. I have to praise the young designers from the European University for their professionalism and for being so organized before the show. The only inevitable chaos that went on was due to the fact that the number of models chosen for the show was 15 and there were 44 creations. They all coped with that fact excellently and of course, that resulted in a successful fashion show. Their designs were truly impressive.

The Statement Earrings Are Back

Whether you like it or not, this trend is back. I remember, I used to be too obsessed with earrings for a certain period of time, I wouldn't leave the house without a pair on and I would use every opportunity I had to buy new ones. I literally have over two hundred pairs and I haven't worn any in couple of years. After getting bored with this phase I turned to chunky rings, got bored with that really quickly, and ultimately my love for the statement necklace took over and still lasts. But it makes me happy that this trend is coming back. It's been spotted on the runways, especially the Dolce & Gabanna shows, they always seem to have a thing for big earrings and I see it's becoming popular with the bloggers and celebrities too. What do you think?

Denim on denim

From what I see, many people are into this trend right now, denim on denim or a "Texas Tuxedo" like some might call it, and I gotta say that I like it too, but obviously, only when it's done right. It's so easy to go wrong with this specific combo and turn into a fiasco of this particular caliber, but I'm frankly hoping that no one will ever get that far again. My advice is, keep it simple, stick to the basics, avoid themed stitching and embellishments, and choose your accessories wisely.

I found another item(or items) that I really like recently - the very original Maison Martin Margiela for H&M Plexi Wedge Boots (I don't like the pump as much). There is something about them that attracts me and makes me feel like they would be a really great addition to my shoe closet. So simple, yet so eye-catching.

...and his name is Christian Louboutin. He's killing me, I hope he knows that. It's safe to say that I am obsessed with every pair of the Pigalle family, like every other girl out there. This particular pair, the nude, is my favorite at the moment although I wouldn't mind owning any other from the series. Perfection at it's finest, in my opinion, every girl's dream shoe.
