While I was in Japan I went to a Kera magazine shooting in Shinjuku.
It was a very fun experience.
Here you can see the result, it is a tiny picture, but I am still happy with it.

Here you can see the full page.

I have never been to a Kera shooting before so I had no idea what to expect.
I heard about if from a friend, but you could also find the dates/locations in the latest Kera.
It was in Shinjuku Marui One.
I went up to the floor where also Angelic Pretty was located,
and when I walked around I noticed a guy with a sign.
He guided me to the line for the shooting, it was in the stair case.
It felt kind of weird, walking past all the Japanese lolita's.
I knew someone I know would be there and luckily I found them.
It were the young lolita girl with her father.
Her father helped me with translating the form I had to fill in.
Without him I would have had no clue what it all meant.
After a while I got closer and closer to the end of the line and just then
I realize the picture also would be taken inside the stair case.
There was 1 person talking the pictures and the other helping with posing,
so you would show all your accessories in a good way.
I think 4 pictures where taken en then I was finished.
You never know for sure if you will get in the magazine,
unfortunately my friend did not got in it.

The right girl was a new friend of the young lolita.

International gothic lolita meetup in Japan

In November I organized a international gothic lolita meetup in Harajuku Japan.

A lot of sweet girls joined the meetup.

I want to start of with this picture of my friend Miki and me.

I told Miki about the meetup and she came to take a look and she also took

the opportunity to promote her Harajuku Fashion Walk.

My oufit rundow:

Metamorphose: headbow, dress, wristcuffs.

Baby the stars shine bright: bag, socks.

Millefleurs: bolero.

These two cute kids were also on the bridge.

Here is a group shot, two Japanese girls joined us later at the tea party.

A while later we all went from Harajuku to Shinjuku by train.

We went to the new Alice Cafe in Shinjuku.

The tea party was a lot of fun and I got to know

some fun facts about all the girls.

Here is a picture of my dessert, creme brulee.

We also took a group shot at the entrance.

It was a amazing day and I want to thank everyone again for joining!

After the tea party I went with two friends to Harajuku.

Laforet already had their Christmas tree up!

At one point one of my friends had to leave and I went with the other to Ebisu

and she showed me this beautiful chandelier.

And to end it all, here is a picture of my nails that day.

Delilah temporary shop

The cute brand Delilah had a temporary shop in the famous Marui One in Shinjuku!
Normally their shop in in Shibuya.
The shop owner invited me to check it out.
For any brand this location is a perfect promotion,
since a lot of girls who like cute fashion shop here.

All these cute colours, bows and lace make me so happy!

The shop owner Kifumi, I love that huge bow on the dress doll.

Metamorphose gothic lolita Osaka store

This Saturday I am organizing a international gothic lolita tea party in Japan.
For this occasion I went to shop for a outfit at my favourite lolita brand,
Metamorphose! You can order items from this brand trough my shop www.mfashion.eu

Normally you are not allowed to take pictures of the shop,

but this time they made a exception.

I choose for the latest classic lolita design.

When I bought it, it wasn't even on their website.

To finish the outfit, I also got the matching headbow and some wristcuffs.

I am planning on wearing the outfit with black knee socks or tights.

I noticed the made the size of the dress a bit bigger then normal,
because I really had to use the back lacing to get a nice fit.
But this is good new for the bustier girls.

The shop is located in the Lon court building.

Fairy Kei in Harajuku

I want to introduce to you this super cute and colourful Harajuku fashion style,

by showing own made pictures in Harajuku.

I already mentioned it in a blog post before: Decora.

But this time I focussed on Fairy Kei.

So this is how I looked this day.

So first I visited a friend that I know from Facebook.

She has her own cute brand: Party Baby.

She looks so cute!!

I got this cute brooch from her brand.

Later I visited the 6% Doki Doki shop.

The shop is so cute and colourful, you can look around for ages

even if the shop is not that big.

I asked the cute shop girl Vani to take a picture together.

Japanese fashion brand Delilah

I was invited to visit the store of my friends friend.
The store is located in Shibuya, Japan.
But they also accept online orders.
It is the easiest to order trough me, since I can communicate easy with them.
Also if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask them to me.

It is super cute and girly!

They also carry a lot of cute accessories to match with their outfits.

They let me try on this outfit, super cute right!

It has ponies on it!!

There can be a problem with the bust size of the clothings,

for me this dress already was a bit tight, so please check the sizes before ordering.

I bought the left hair ribbon at the store,
here you can see me coordinating it with a very colourful look.
The stars I am wearing on the right are from 6% DokiDoki,
I will write a post about this brand later.

The first band that preformed was Royal Cabaret

I really love their music!!

Here is a picture of me together with the singer, she is so friendly.

Next was Destruct System it was not my kind of music, but my boyfriend liked it a lot.

It was a mix of rap and rock music.

In between there was a guy singing and someone playing the guitar, but that was horrible.

And here we see Calmando Qual OMG! They changed so much!! They are so much

better then we I saw them a few years ago, they had a whole spooky Halloween vibe going on.

I loved it!

When we wanted to get some air outside we saw Takuya Angel with two cute girls

also dressed in his clothing brand, please check out his website!

And I saw this cute Angel.

So at the end of the party they did some kind of price give away,

while I did not understand 75% of what they said, I managed to win a prize!

It was a Takuya Angel mask!

Here you can see the hot mess that was going on, on the stage.

Camera Japan movie fest. Holland.

Two weeks ago the Camera Japan film Festival in Rotterdam
invited me to come with a group of lolita's,
so we could show the visitors our fashion style.

Hello Kitty was also there, promoting the current exposition at SieboldHuis .
I don't think I can visit it since I will be in Japan for 1 month.

It was a amazing weekend!
We left early to go to the festival, we had two group rooms in a hostel,
so we could stay until late at the event.

Keiichi Suzuki & Yoko Ueno

Two weeks ago the famous composer Keiichi Suzuki and artist Yoko Ueno came to Holland,
for a week tour in Holland.
I think most people will know the movie: The Blind Swordsman: Zatōichi.
This is one of the movies he composed the music for.

Their music is like a story book.
It can tell a whole story just by the music.
Please take the time to listen to their music in the video in the end of this blog post.

Some days ago the Japanese band Nega preformed in Holland, Utrecht.
Fans even from outside Holland came to visit the band.

I really liked their music, it was a mix of rock and metal.

With my friends, Manon and Scarlet Penta

After the concert we took a group picture together with the band.

They guy with black hair next to me is a dear friend, but he almost looks likes he belongs in the band.

Re-make Fashion

Since a long time Re-make fashion has been very popular in Japan.
I always have been fascinated by this, but kind of afraid to try it.
But not so long ago I just gave it a try and it turned out to be very fun!

Lets start with this bag, it was just a plain leather bag.
I wanted to buy a new bag for me to bring with me when I go to Japan next month.
But I really didn't want to spend money, since I am saving for my trip.

So I took the bag and with fabric glue I glued left over lace on the bag.
I already had the Innocent World bunny, and the brooch.
The only thing I bought was the Miffy key chain.

The next item is this H&M cardigan, it was plain and boring.

A while ago I bough the tassel lace because I thought it was so cute

and now I could use it.

I already got the triangle lace, green lace and the other tassel.

Again I used fabric glue, because if you would sew it on, you would see the thread.

This one was a bit more complicated.
I had bought a second hand t-shirt with the swan print,
but it turned out it had sweat stains :s
Because I really loved the print, I just cut out the fabric and threw the rest out.
The sweater used to have a print, but because of wrong washing it disappeared.
Together with some left over fabric and lace I sewed on the swan print fabric.
And now I have a completely new sweater!

And here is another item that consists of two pieces.
The Alice print used to be a tank top,
but because of wrong washing it shrunk, but the print was still good.
The skirt had a glue stain, so I covered it with the Alice print and
with the skirt came a swatch of fabric and lace,
so I also used this to trim the heart.
Also I added some iron on hearts, cute isn't it?!

I would like to say to everyone, just give it a try!!! It is fun!
If you need some advise, please ask, I am happy to help you out.

Abunai 2011

I am sorry for being late with this blog.

So 27-8 I went with friends to Abunai, a Dutch anime convention.
To be honest, the day programme was for us pretty boring,
so I am glad we were with so many friends.
The evening dance evening was very fun tough!

It was a nice show, I loved the Hime Gyaru styles and the Mamba style the most!

Old school lolita meet-up

Last week we had with the Dutch lolita's a old school lolita themed meet-up.

So you might wonder, what is old school lolita?

If you would look back at lolita, about 4-5 years ago, a lot of current trends did not exist.
Like the prints in sweet lolita and of course the over the top sweet lolita style.
Alice style outfits were very popular back them.

For gothic lolita most of the colour combinations were black x white.

Also wigs were not very popular back then, so I tried to stay as close as possible
to the old school style and did not wear a wig, also make-up was very simple back then,
so I wore only a little bit of make-up.

The most worn head accessory was the headdress, this could be round or rectangular.
You rarely see those any more, alice head bows are now very popular.

Here you can see my headdress,
it is from Metamorphose and was made in the year 2005, so it is pretty old.
I got it from a friend when I was in Japan in 2005.

My blouse is by Moi-meme-moitie, I also got this a while ago 2007.
The skirt is by Angelic Pretty and is part of a set with a jacket,
but it was too hot to wear the jacket, the skirt from around 2007-2008
The socks are from Heart E, I guess they are from 2009
My shoes are more recent and by Angelic Pretty.
My Umbrella is from Metamorphose, I guess also from 2009

Today I and Mfashion was asked to host a Japanese fashions style event
at the Japanese museum Siebold huis in Leiden, Holland.

With some lovely girls and a boy we made a fashion show
and right after that we explained all the styles we were wearing.

I want to thank everyone again for helping out!

Gothic Lolita at Summerdarkness 2011

This is the last blog post about the Dutch event Summer Darkness.

On Sunday 31-7 www.mfashion.eu (me) organised a Lolita fashion show.
A lot of other lolita's came to watch the show, it was a amazingly fun day!

Here is a picture Hennie Ummels made of some of the girls.
Spot all those photographers in the back.

Hennie Ummels also filmed the whole fashion show, it is 27 min. long.
So I recommend getting yourself a nice beverage before you start watching.

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is a high school student who already was getting famous
because she is a fashion blogger and regularly seen in Japanese Harajuku fashion magazines.

Last month she released her first music video and it is a hit.
This catchy tune stays in your head forever!

Al over Japan you can see billboards with her on it.
And since she is famous for her funny faces, the billboards are in this style.

This day was planned full with things to see at Summerdarkness.

But first we made a quick stop at this beautiful church.

It was the début of Ludwika Jakubowska jewelry line called Monster-rose.
She uses what mother nature left over from death animals to create her pieces.

Bal du masque - Summerdarkness 2011

Past Friday the dark underground festival Summerdarkness
started of with a masked ball called Bal du masque.

This party original was held in Amsterdam already for a long time and it was very small.
I've been there about 5 times before, I always loved it.

Even tough it now was in a big venue it didn't lost it's charms!
The atmosphere was great, good music, nice shows and nice people.

I really enjoyed my self and time passed by too fast!
