Been away for a bit due to a faulty graphics card on the macbook pro, luckily apple replaced it for free because in their words "This guy is way too awesome to pay for this repair"

Been working on the DVD for Metal Gear Waller and will be looking into the possibility of adding a director's commentary option.

Lock & Load 2 is just waiting on audio now then that will be released.

Mountain Climbing

A few weeks ago I went out location scouting and came across this miniature cliff and completely off the cuff created this.

There is a couple shots where I'm about 10 feet off the ground but mostly I'm about 3 or 4 ft. If I had any time to prepare when making this I would have probably tied it in with a Tom Cruise Mission Impossible 2 sketch.

Since the weather has been amazing I've been doing alot of training and walking. Lock & Load 2 is starting to shape up nicely. Have been doing some private work for a client too involving guns and lightsabers.

We started production of Lock & Load 2, which involved a 14 hour day for the initial shoot. This also involved 3 other days of filming 2 hard drive crashes and several hundred hours of work. speaking of which, I must continue....

Activity

it's been a little quiet on the website front lately, mainly due to a number of things. the editing of Lock & Load 2 being the main culprit, which is going well I'm up to 5 mins at the moment and a death toll of 79.

Going to be entering a new competition soon remaking a historic battle badly or "swede"ing as they refer to it as. Filmed the first scene last week and it looks pretty good in my opinion, it was very fun to make.

I also did some miniature shots I intend to experiment with soon after I've cleared my work load, I'll post more when I have it.

Filmed a tidy little ending for Lock & Load 2 the other day, which im pretty proud of.

Thats enough for now as I got tonnes to do.

Work is going well on Lock & Load 2 its really starting to take shape, Lately I've been visiting the cinema a few times and had the pleasure of watching from russia with love on the big screen. I've literally just got home from watching the new star trek film which i think is amazing. I don't want to sound like an effects nerd but the credits at the end were amazingly done.

Yesterday I went out location scouting and made a short little sketch about rock climbing, I'm hoping it should look rather cool

Ive done loads of colour correcting. I'm now starting on the last Vietnam shoot I filmed back in december so should be ready to cut it all together soon. I've uploaded page 12 of the comic and added some shots from the colour correcting im doing.

I'm still balls deep in colour correction for Vietnam, which is coming along well. Also I'm going to be helping someone else out with some special effects...... mainly gun fire which just so happens to be the bread and butter of my technical expertise.

Colour

Over the past week I discovered a method of colour correction that is completely new to me. It's pretty nifty so nifty in fact I'm going back through the LL2 footage to re colour correct it all, as well as add a few tweaks here n there.

Over the last week I have been working on a couple of test sequences for Lock & Load 2, mainly to see how the footage fits together.

Test 1 : Visual Sequence

Test 2 : Same as Test 1 but with temporary sound effects

Haven't written anything in a while been really busy with a few bits and bobs, been doing some more work for Lotus Nei Gong's youtube page.

Hammer Falls is still with Ed (audio) after a slight mishap with his computer Hammer Falls is now back on track and should be ready soon...ish.

I mentioned some titling work in my last post here it is in use. His name just happens to be Liam as well. Also been working on another Patricia Cornwell book advert, after filming the competition got cancelled but I'm still going to release that, here is a quick mock up.

Lock & Load 2 : Vietnam Flashback. The clips have been prepped and polished, just waiting on the opening sequence, which is being created as we speak (I've had to call in help on this one but here is an early concept)

And Finally the website is really going nuts. In the past couple of months I've seen the hits dramatically increase so thanks guys, if there is any comments suggestions just get in touch via the contact section of the site.

hello again, its been a while since my last update but I've had a lot on. been doing some private work so progress on Lock & Load 2 has slowed. Entering another book contest and that is mainly shot now (doing some more filming for it this week)

It's all a bit manic over here lately, the website is undergoing some changes as its popularity is starting to increase.

I've finally got the rest of the photos from day 1 of the Vietnam shoot as well as the photos from the 3rd Vietnam Shoot, so I'll be uploading these shortly.

I'm almost finished with Vietnam Flashback, just got a couple shots to finish and then need to make some arial footage from Nam. Been Doing some more work for LotusNeiGong.co.uk's YouTube Channel which can be seen here. Hammer Falls is off to the audio "department" and should be ready to release soon. And Finally work is commencing on a new Book advert competition so watch this space.

cant think of anything else thats going on at the moment.
