Libation Nation with Ray Posado is ramping up to begin shooting 1/2 Hour Episodes after the wrap of Season 1 of The Inn Crowd which will be in the Spring of 2013. Ray Posado will introduce viewers into the world of Libations with a behind the scenes All Access Tour full of surprises and fun for the viewers. Three Episodes which are being called The Tequila Trilogy will begin in Las Vegas which is the home of John Paul Mitchell Systems which is the Parent Company of Patron Tequila which is now in its 4th Decade of Production and is considered the King of Tequilas!

The 2nd Episode in The Tequila Trilogy will take Ray down the Las Vegas Strip to the 3rd Cabo Wabo Cantina to be built by Tequila Aficionado and Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame Member Sammy Hagar for an in depth look into how Cabo Wabo Tequila went from just a way to feed the need for a Thirsty Cantina in Cabo San Lucas during an Agave Shortage to what it is today as a Worldwide Mega Brand.

Sammy Hagar took his Tequila from just another Rock Star owned Booze Brand to an 80 Million Dollar Payday for his hard work when he sold 80% of the company to Campari Skyy which extended the reach of the brand to a Worldwide Level and quickly became one of the most recognized and requested Alcohol Brands on the Planet!

Episode 3 of the Trilogy will take us to the oldest Tequila Brand on the Planet.

Casa Noble was founded during the American Revolution way back in 1776 making it the Tequila with the longest history of continuous production and is still produced with the same formula in the sleepy town of Tequila Jalisco Mexico. Little has change for this fantastic Tequila over the years except for one major change recently.

Carlos Santana bought Casa Noble and is now not only a Legendary Guitarista in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame but now El Rey De Tequila since he now owns the oldest and most respected Tequila brand on the Planet.

Libation Nation will also have other shows about Tequila and its often bastardized cousin Mezcal but these 3 episodes promise to be unique. There is even talk that these 3 episodes may also either become 6 half hour episodes or 3 one hour episodes so stay tuned for more as it all develops.

Cowboy Bills Radio Rides Off Into The Sunset

Fans of ours have been enjoying the music for sometime now here on the website from Cowboy Bills Radio in Key West Florida but that is coming to an end this weekend. Cowboy Bills Radio which was created in 2009 and Launched on July 4th of that year is wrapping up operations but is said to be retooling for a relaunch with a re-brand sometime soon as Cabo Bills Radio. The Owners and Programmers and Staff of the station are relocating their broadcast facilities to Cabo San Lucas Mexico where they will also be running a Rock Radio Station as well. Double Shot The Motion Picture Gets Green Light As Made For TV Movie

Coming soon from Toluca Films is Double Shot which is based on My Bad Tequila by Author Rico Austin who I have blogged about here previously. Toluca Films has been struggling for over a year in this tough economy to raise the shooting budget to bring it to life and has finally pulled it together with the help of a Major Cable Network and a Tequila Manufacturer. There has even been friction from a few self righteous tea totalers that still do not want to see this movie produced unless they are paid off to stop harassing the screenwriter that turned Rico's Book into an Epic Film Experience. The Inn Crowd Launches Website!

With the increasing buzz about a new Reality Show coming the folks over at Toluca Films who are producing The Inn Crowd for Reality Television have launched a website for the show to go along with the Facebook Page and Twitter Account. You can Visit it now at The Inn Crowd TV Website and get in on all the fun. From what I have heard today there are multiple Cable Channels in talks with Toluca Films right now and a decision on which channel will carry the show will be coming in a matter of days. As soon as I get the news I will post it for my Libation Nation Members as well. I got a sneak peek today at the Inn being used at it is a very impressive piece of architecture with beautiful massive grounds and is quite the stately manor. The video footage of this historic place I am told will be aired in a promo on whichever network picks up the show and not before is what I am told to protect the anonymity of the present guests utilizing the Inn and the privacy of the ownership team. Until there is more news this will be the last post for this topic on my blog out of respect to the project.

Are You In With The Inn Crowd?

Yes it sounds like an old song but that was purely intentional from what I gather. What is this about you are asking? It is all about entertainment if you really must know. The Inn Crowd is coming to Television this Winter thanks to the folks over at Toluca Films.

So now that you are wondering what "The Inn Crowd" is let me bring you up to speed on what it is and how it began and even beyond that. The shows Producers had started out wanting to show the inner workings of a family owned and operated Country Inn in the Northeastern United States but came to the realization that the traditionally long harsh winters might present a challenge to producing such a show. So they decided to utilize a much more forgiving climate and they headed west to seek their location to utilize and made a few adjustments to the story line of what this cutting edge Reality TV show will convey. Rather than focus on the ins and outs of rookie owners and staff the producers are banking on Star Power and fan bases of "A" List and other Celebrities that vacation at this hand picked location and playground of the stars and regular folks alike. The Producers are not releasing the name or location of the featured Inn at this time to respect the wishes of the owners and to protect the privacy of their existing clientele. However once the first episode airs sometime in late December or early January of 2013 then the cat will be out of the bag obviously.

Product placement by sponsors ranging from automobile manufacturers to consumable goods is an integral component in this show with many companies already signed on with more lining up to do so as well. Adam Richman Goes On The Quest For America's Best Sandwich!

Confirmed Foodie Adam Richman has taken his Quest for The Ultimate Sandwich to a new Level! He has turned his love of food into yet another Reality TV Goldmine in a nationwide search for the ultimate finger food that Americans know and love so well, The Sandwich.

Best known for his 59 Episodes at last count of his Travel Channel Show called Man Vs. Food, Adam has taken to the road and gone Collegiate on the Culinary world of Sandwich Mania! The Three and only Rules of the Contest are No Burgers, No Pitas and No Wraps!

Meat and Cheese and Ice Cream? Oh My!

Now this post today should be a switch for everyone! I got a phone call last week from my bosses in Los Angeles informing me that they wanted me to help out in a new Reality TV Show they have and they mainly wanted my culinary expertise as part of this reality show involves this new Steak House they are concocting. Now since the show and eatery are not yet shot or opened I will reserve the sharing of that for a later blog post and talk about some other things I found out about through these phone conversations. One thing I will say is that this show and restaurant are going to really rock and I am glad I will be involved in it.

You are probably shaking your head as to why I chose the Blog Entry Title that I did. Well aside from it being an obvious rip on a famous Wizard of Oz Line , it actually sums up things pretty good about what the rest of this Blog Post will be about. So Let's start by whipping out the first on the list with some Meat that is hard to beat!

The Vermont Inn Is Heaven On Earth!

In my last Blog Post I mentioned a quaint little place called The Vermont Inn which is located just minutes from the world famous Killington Resort in Vermont. Anthony Melchiorri and his show Hotel Impossible on The Travel Channel just featured this place on an episode of the show and now America is talking about this Little Slice of Heaven.

Reality TV With Anthony Melchiorri Changes Lives One Hotel At A Time!

Reality Television for the most part is pretty much a melting pot of self serving eye candy that is a diversion for many millions of its fans from the boring almost sterile programming choices that regular network television serves up on a nightly basis. There is an exception to this rule however. One man by the name of Anthony Melchiorri has taken Reality Television to a new respectable level. There are no Kardashian butt cheek implants nor are there any Teen Moms contemplating abortions there is just a guy helping people change their lives!

Anthony is a miracle worker it seems as he travels from Hotel to Hotel across America that are in need of turning around their slumping business with causes that range from a plethora of causes from inexperienced owners as witnessed in last nights episode with the Vermont Inn to outright negligence as seen in other episodes. Happy National Tequila Day America!

Happy National Tequila Day America! July 24th has been designated as National Tequila Day for our Gringo Friends North of the Border. Here in Mexico, everyday is National Tequila Day especially the closer you get to a Cantina Amigos!

So Let's all raise our shot glass high and say Salud!

I prefer not to use the salt and lime or as I call them "Training Wheels". Yes I said Lime, we do not have many Lemons in Mexico as they are very rare so the Lemon Slice is more of a Gringo tradition. The Lime and the salt is an old tradition that was more as a sterilization process rather than flavor as lime juice and salt together kill bacteria which was very present in the old days on the glasses in Cantinas.

So many Brands to choose from, which one do you prefer? This National Tequila Day I am choosing Casa Noble which is the Brand owned now by Carlos Santana.

So no matter if you are a Tequila Aficionado Like me or just a Beginner like my cousin Paco seen below this is your day to enjoy!

We call Paco "The Fatman". He always looks like he has just Farted. He used to drink Rum but I set him up with some Tequila and he now has seen the light. Paco runs a taco restaurant here in Los Cabos and when you come to Los Cabos please go check out his place called Paco's Tacos.

Another great month of Summer has gained on us and where better to be than in the wild of Alaska and taking in the beauty of Central and Southwest Idaho and then one more crazy night in Vegas.

Unfortunately, there has also been tragedy and lunatics abounding again in the state of Colorado of which we will discuss later in the Blog. And lastly we will cover the statue of Joe Paterno aka JoePa (literally & figuratively).

4^th of July, our nations birthday I spent the evening prior in my hometown of Marsing, IDAHO with my mother, wife, brother, his girlfriend, niece and nephews. The fireworks were incredible as seen coming off the reflection of the Snake River into the dark of the sky. Marsing, ID is the home of a very special young man and Boise State University football player Shea McClellin that once lived off Chicken Dinner Road on a 20 acre farm became the highest drafted Idaho-born player from Boise State as he was chosen in the first round by the Chicago Bears.

Next morning on the 4^th of July we left beautiful downtown Marsing after I paid my respects to the Marsing street I was raised on, Canal Street and headed north for McCall, Idaho aka (ski town USA) as there is the crystal clear, blue Payette Lake that resembles Lake Tahoe clarity and sereneness. Boise Amigos Kory, Michelle, Rich & Rhonda invited us for a memorable and laughter filled 4^th; Exactly 25 years to the date of the famous incident at the Yacht Club as mentioned in the epic, award winning novel, Rico was invited back this time for a book signing on the famous deck that overlooks the gorgeous lake with fireworks galore. This is one of the most beautiful settings of which YOU will ever be able to view a firework show second to none (Disneyland comes close.)

Time to move on along near the 45^th parallel to Red Fish Lake and then into Sun Valley / Ketchum ID area. If You have ever visited the Sun Valley area in the Summer time you would never question why Ernest Hemingway aka Papa made this is final home. If You ever make it to Ketchum a trip is not full without a stop at Whiskey Jacques on Main St. where Brent, Mark, Dave or Cody will greet You will a beer and a smile (order may be reversed.) Again, another memorable book signing while therambling, rolling, grooving, good times music played by the Musketeer Gripweed band helped keep the bookworms in rhythm.

Oprah Book Club 2.0 has begun to shake the literary world once again and were awaiting the phone call to arrive in Chicago to talk about why Oprah just has to recommend My Bad Tequila to her fans. I do hope it is during football season so that Oprah can take me to the Bears game and then well meet up with Shea McClellin and show Ms. Winfrey how a couple of Idaho and former Boise State Football players party with Tequila.

Dirty Tequila is a different animal of Tequila than I have ever tasted thanks to co-owners and entrepreneurs George & Corbin of the greater Phoenix area. The best way to describe it is: Tequila perfected! It starts with 110 proof blue agave tequila and with the addition of natural and artificial flavors and sweeteners, including agave nectar, the result is a uniquely smooth delicious tequila drink that will not leave your throat burning. You can sip this tequila chilled neat, on the rocks, or mixed with your favorite tequila cocktails to add a little extra flavor to the mix. Should be available in several different markets by August 1^st, 2012; but guess what? I have already tried it at a Dirty Tequila party on the water at Lake Pleasant and man is it great tasting. For a few fun pictures of the fiesta continue reading and at the end of the Blog there they be. There was even the Son of Elvis present: have You heard the story of John Smith the DNA positively tested son of the Rock n Roll Great, Elvis Presley? Well, he is alive and living well somewhere in Cave Creek, Arizona with his lovely wife Lisa. There may be a book deal in the works for an Amigo that You may have heard of. Well keep You posted as the story progresses.

The final day of the British Open was anything but ho-hum. At the start of the round Adam Scott with the world renowned caddy Steve Williams led the field by 4 shots and still led the field with 4 shots with only 4 holes to play. On the 15^th hole things began to unravel for the Aussie and his Aussie caddy as he bogeyed the 15^th, 16^th, 17^th and needed to save par with a makeable 7 foot putt and bogey again. Meanwhile back on the course South African Ernie Els was busy stocking away birdie after birdie and yes, birdies the 18^th hole. While Els awaited his fate as the last twosome of Scott and McDowell played the 18^th hole the world watched the heartbreaking collapse of Adam Scott. While watching I could not help but think of another Australian golfer that came so close but was denied time and time again Mr. Greg Norman (one of my favorite all-time golfers). Well Ernie again won the British Open exactly 10 years and a day to his last win of the Open.

Now You may be asking, what happened to Tiger Woods? Yes, Amigos of the golfing world Tiger collapsed as well, faltering in the last few holes except for birdie on the 18^th. The truth is I dont care about Tiger Woods as I am not a fan, yes I will admit he is a good golfer; however, as a human being I have had little to no respect for this guy for many years and here is the rest of the story as quoted by Paul Harvey. Tiger Woods was the only major golfing personality that did not attend Payne Stewarts funeral in 1999. He felt that it was more important that he get ready to play and try to win the tournament on Thursday. I remember seeing a picture of all the great golfing professionals standing together saddened by the departure of their close golfing amigo and Tiger Woods is missing from the picture with a story telling of Eldrick (Tiger) Woods believing that it was more important to conce ntrate on his golfing and guess who won yes, tigger won it. I kept that newspaper picture clipping on my refrigerator door for over a year as a reminder of why I would not get caught on in tiggermania or as I think of it total selfishness. There is also the case of when he (Tiger) did not go to honor Jackie Robinson after he'd won the Masters - he was on vacation, he had no excuse not to go -- and then tried to defend his decision. He later apologized to Rachel Robinson but the harm had been done. Tiger needs to learn about character about life and about honesty and integrity. I am surprised that he still has any sponsors left after the humiliation he has bestowed upon his family and friends including the quick dismissal of close confidant and caddy Steve Williams who stayed quiet and loyal throughout the entire sex scandal. Aurora, Colorado is the latest town to undergo a tragic ending by lunatic James Holmes at the Black Knight Batman midnight showing. Poor Colorado has had its share of dumbasses, stupid fuc- s and lunatics including the Columbine School students and killers Eric Harris and Dylan Kleboldand a rapist who was visiting Vail, professional basketball player Kobe Bryant. Lucky for Colorado, Kobe does not live in the state but the citizens of Los Angeles have to claim him. All four of these individuals will not / did not get their deserved and correct punishment. P ublic hangings would definitely make a person reconsider their motives, their planned killings, their rapes before carrying out such atrocities. We the public have paid for Harris and Klebold and will most likely pay to house Holmes for many years in a solitary confined area away from the other prisoners of whom may be offered cigarettes, money or bitches to off Holmes. We did not have to pay for Bryant, he did that on his own by offering and paying a substantial amount of NBA money to the victim to spare her of explicit testimony. Kobe even bought his wife an extra large diamond ring to satisfy her anger and disappointment in a relationship that was founded on lies, adultery and betrayal.

To all the families and friends of the Aurora shooting, my deepest sympathy, thoughts and prayers. To Holmes and all the other crazy fuc-s scattered throughout the world such as Tucson, Norway, Virginia, Oklahoma, Iowa, California, Iran, Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq: We will survive and you will not Break our Spirit, Love and Pursuit of Continuous Freedom.

The statue of Joe Paterno, Penn State's late, disgraced former football coach, has been taken down, after university officials announced early Sunday their decision to remove it.

I now believe that, contrary to its original intention, coach Paterno's statue has become a source of division and an obstacle to healing in our university and beyond, Penn State president Rodney Erickson said in a statement. I believe that, were it to remain, the statue will be a recurring wound to the multitude of individuals across the nation and beyond who have been the victims of child abuse.

The decision comes on the heels of a damning 267-page report by former FBI Director Louis Freeh--which concluded Paterno concealed information about former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky's sexual abuse of underage boys--and a day before the NCAA announces sanctions against the school and its football program. YAHOO News!

Early this Sunday morning, a blue quilted moving blanket was placed over Paternos statued head of the 7 foot tall, 900 pound statue which had been erected in 2001 at Beaver Stadium on the State College, Pa., campus. This same day July 22^nd, 2012 the statue was airlifted via forklift and placed in an unnamed secure storage unit where it may be the winning bid for an upcoming Storage Wars televised segment. In case some of You are familiar with Penn State but not Storage Wars it is a reality show on A&E Network and features auctioneers Dan Dotson and Laura Dotson, as well as auction hunters Barry Weiss (my favorite), Dave Hester, Darrell Sheets and the team of Jarrod Schulz and Brandi Passante. Executive Producer and Creator Thom Beers serves as the off-screen narrator. And that is all I am going to say about that except that Penn State finally has some balls and did th e right thing so that the abused victims, their families and the surrounding community can start to heal. One more thing, give Penn State Football the Death Penalty for at least one year and start the program anew. How deep and how many layers beneath the truth surface did the cover up go? How many players and other coaches knew what took place in the locker room, behind the bleachers and in the closed, darkened classrooms as well as Sanduskys family home? Yes, there are still many questions of which we and more importantly the many victims will never learn the answers to. Yes, Penn State Football and the University has not only been tarnished but has an evil taboo that will take perhaps decades or even longer before its brand is once again one to be proud of. I feel for my Amigas and Amigos that have graduated from Penn State because it is currently not something that YOU want sticking out in a resum e and during that interview You are asked, So what do You think of Joe Paterno? or Are You a huge fan of the Nittany Lions Football program? One thing is clear, I love College Football and have cheered for Penn State in games past; but, childrens lives being protected and not being ruined is far more important to this Sports Fan and I am certain it is for most adult persons in this Mega World we live in and share with our Fellow Man or Woman.

Indie Film Production Company Seeking Funding!

Every once in awhile you come across one of those stories that has nothing to do with Libations or Travel or Food but the more you read into it you find that it has everything to do with it. There is a film production company called Toluca Films that has a Screenwriter that has written some really fantastic Screenplays that just need to be brought to the world. With all the death and destruction and tragedy going on in the world these stories will be a breath of fresh air I can assure you.

This is where the story begins I suppose. I have noticed over the past several months going on a year almost that this fledgling company has made numerous attempts to raise money to produce their movies via various online platforms and the like only to have those sources stop in short order. I did a little digging to find out why and what I found out is not only shocking it is horrifying to me. I sent an email to Toluca Films and began communicating with the powers that be over there and found out about some problems they were having with three or four people that were trying to extort money from their screenwriter and had been very active in harassing him constantly online via Facebook and Twitter and other online Platforms. He has been trying for several moths to get these parties to stop for several months now but they still continue their criminal campaign of Defamation and Harassment.

The harassment seems to have started when he wrote the screenplay for Double Shot which is based on My Bad Tequila by Rico Austin which has been in what seems to be eternal pre-production for several months now. These Stalkers even went as far as to harass the books Author via email and telephone as well from their bases of operations in Florida,Michigan,Tennessee and even Canada.

Then they seemed to pick up the pace even more with more harassment upon the announcement of his next project as well. These people really need to get a life and get jobs it seems since they all have one thing in common. They are all unemployed people that have mental issues and can't stand to see someone else doing better than themselves and really need some serious mental help.So now let's move on and help out the Film Makers here. The Tale Of Two Spanky's Fred Willard Pulls A Pee Wee HEADS UP!

To celebrate the 21st Anniversary of the Pee Wee Herman Brown Towel Incident in Sarasota Florida involving Brown Towels and Porn in a Darkened Theater it seems that Fred Willard has paid Homage to him in Hollywood in another darkened screening room. The Star of an upcoming project called Yank, and yes I am serious on that one, was caught with a situation on his hands to say the least.

Fred Willard's alleged lewd conduct at Hollywood's X-rated Tiki Theatre Wednesday night was controversial for sure, but was it a fireable offense?

PBS seemed to thinks so. The network announced Thursday that "given the unfortunate news reported today," Willard had lost his job as the narrator of the new Market Warriors series effective immediately.

But Tiki Theatre manager Kazi Jafor sees things a little differently. As far as Jafor's concerned, the 72-year-old actor did nothing wrong.

Fred Willard arrested for "lewd conduct" in X-rated Hollywood theater

"Police officers arrested him suspiciously," Jafor tells E! News. "I did not see anything."

Jafor said police checks range from three to four times per day to once a week, and around 23 or 24 people have been arrested at his location. "Business has gone down," he said. "Customers do not come. They are too nervous to come here."

According to Jafor, who has never seen any of Willard's films, the actor walked in just after 7 p.m. Wednesday and it was "the first time I've ever seen him before." Per Jafor, Willard paid for a ticket to see a rotation of three movies that were playing that evening: Follow Me 2, a parody of The Client List and Step Dad. The manager says there were only four people in the theatre during this time.

Willard, who was booked and released later on his own recognizance, is best known for his work in Best in Show, This Is Spinal Tap, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy andWaiting for Guffman. Mark L. Wahlberg (host of Antiques Roadshow, not the former underwear model) will re-voice Willard's episode of Market Warriors.

Meanwhile, Willard still has a starring role in ABC's Trust Us With Your Life and, per IMDb, will be appearing next in the suddenly unfortunately titled film The Yank.

Kenneth "Cat Daddy" Pogson and Tres Shannon have been friends for awhile. They always wanted to start a business together. Something that would fit into an extraordinary Portland business climate. Something fun, different, and one for the ages. After much searching under rocks, tequilas, and women's blouses, they found what they were looking for... doughnuts!!

Cat Daddy with his stunningly brilliant business sense, and Tres with his seemingly endless supply of connections, set forth to conquer Old Town, Portland, and the world!! After a meeting with some Armenians and drumming masters, they were ready to set up shop in the "crotch" of Portland --- Old Town.

There was only one problem, neither Cat Daddy nor Tres had ever made doughnuts before! They set out for the sunny Los Angeles suburb of Pico Rivera, California, where they met up with some doughnut masters, and learned about doughnuts from the ground up. These old, grizzled doughnut veterans knew what they were doing and were barely willing to give up their trade secrets at first.

But the charm and good looks of our Portland heroes eventually won over the doughnut masters, and the secrets were revealed to them.

Learning when to throw the flour, proper handling of a rolling pin, the intricacies of an old fashion, the "flip," and countless other tricks of the trade were now in the hands, minds, and notebooks of Cat Daddy and Tres.

They returned to Portland regaling the locals with tales of Brad Pitt eating one of their early maple bars, a Chick Hearn memorial documented on Japanese Television, featuring Voodoo Doughnuts, and the wild, wild, times of California -- artists, actors, washed up sports stars, old people, disillusioned tourists, and musicians. Ah California... Portland soon learned of these tricks and Voodoo Doughnut became the best tasting doughnuts in the world, chico!!

After flying in some "Voodoo Oil" from down south, acquiring the nuts and bolts of their shop, the boys started tinkering around with their methods that soon became known locally, nationally, and worldwide. People have talked about Voodoo Doughnut in Tibet, on Easter Island, Japan has some stylish folks sporting the latest Voodoo underpants, and friends have shared a buttermilk bar in Tanzania. I'm sure some corners of the globe have yet to be penetrated.
