Why stop at $60K? Doesn't everybody agree that teachers are far more important than say, pro athletes? Teachers should start at at least twice the starting salary of a pro baseball, football, or basketball player. That would be about $1 million/year.

In Iowa you have to buy a "tax stamp" for your illegal drugs. I will fall out of my chair the day I read a drug bust story in which the perpetrator actually has a tax stamp. If these guys where smart, they'd buy one and then if busted, they could claim they were targeted because they had one.
