Libertas encourages readers to register to join the Cell Communication Insights peer review group. Being a volunteer peer reviewer is a great way to support Cell Communication Insights and assist your colleagues who have submitted manuscripts to it.

The peer review process has been designed to make this vital task as quick and well-organized as possible so reviewers' time is used efficiently. This means that reviewers can focus on assessing papers rather than navigating obstructive web interfaces.

Articles published in open access journals like Breast Cancer: Basic and Clinical Research have been shown to receive more citations than articles published in restricted access journals.

A recent review of the studies on open access citation advantage found that 87% of previous research showed open access articles to be more often cited than restricted access articles. An article’s citation level gives a good indication of its visibility and impact, and in some subject areas open access papers received 600% more citations than restricted access papers.
The mean difference in citations was 176.75% in favour of open access, meaning papers published in open access journal almost always get a considerable citation advantage over those published in restricted access journals.

During January, Pubmed Central statistics showed that Libertas Academica has 1,245 papers available for anyone to download for free. These papers received 30487,380 views, including 8416 downloads. The most popular paper was viewed 667 times during the month. Including abstracts, figures, tables, supplementary data, and cited-in lists, Libertas material on the Pubmed Central website was viewed 59,356 times.

Libertas Announces CLOCKSS Archiving Partnership

CLOCKSS is a venture between the world's leading scholarly publishers and research libraries. It operates a sustainable, geographically distributed archive to ensure the long-term survival of web-based scholarly publications for the long-term benefit of researchers around the world.
For past and future authors of articles published in Libertas journals this means that the long-term survival of their articles is ensured.

Libertas encourages readers to register to join the Bone and Tissue Regeneration Insights peer review group. Being a volunteer peer reviewer is a great way to support Bone and Tissue Regeneration Insights and assist your colleagues who have submitted manuscripts to the journal.
