Churlish obnoxious arrogant employees make difficult the navigating of library collections, make difficult our library services' usability. Important BPL people that library users/clientele/customers/consumers depend on to interpret collections and services can be too tricky to deal with, too easily taking offense when questioned about their responses to library reference enquiries. Attempting to submit feedback, suggestions, concerns, questions about the quality of performance for library services is an exercise is diplomacy, feedback rejected, transactions deflected.

A better customers services program is needed that gathers feedback, suggestions, concerns and questions at points of library services about performance qualities. </summary>

My take on Web 2.0, in a nutshell, is programs that enhance communication via the internet or intranet. WisISIS is a library management system if I remember correctly. While there do seem to be some examples of libraries enhancing their LMS with web 2.0 applications they are usually different things.

Web 2.0 applications can have a lot of uses in libraries, eg, you might use a blog to communicate to staff or clients, you could use a wiki for collaborative projects because everyone can sign in an contribute data (I have heard of a library that writes research papers for their clients and all the staff contribute parts with one person doing the final write up), a wiki can be used for procedures and policies because all staff involved can sign on and change them as needed, I know of a blog being used for staff to write in when they attend a staff development activity, and they are certainly used instead of newsletter a lot now. They are the only quick examples I can think of. There's much more being done. </summary>
