Tom will discuss how the Taylor Family Digital Library (scheduled to open in fall 2010) will bring together libraries, archives, museums, and the university press for the benefit of scholars. It will be a 21st century research facility in the heart of campus which will house a "collection of the future" integrating access to traditional print, museum, and archival materials. Come hear about the strategic plans and learn how the Taylor Library will embody a new campus prototype for learning, teaching and conducting research. This release contains 279 titles, representing hundreds of leading playwrights, actors and directors. With live television broadcasts of New York productions from the 50s, revivals of classic works and experimental performances from the 60s and 70s, as well as important contemporary performances, Theatre in Video covers a wide range of 20th century theatre history. Unlike Hollywood adaptations, these are the actual original productions, captured and recorded while performed for a live theatre audience.

New Database: Environment Complete

Environment Complete offers deep coverage in applicable areas of agriculture, ecosystem ecology, energy, renewable energy sources, natural resources, marine & freshwater science, geography, pollution & waste management, environmental technology, environmental law, public policy, social impacts, urban planning, and more. Environment Complete contains more than 1,722,000 records from more than 1,660 domestic and international titles going back to the 1940s (including 1,094) active core titles as well as more than 100 monographs.
